It basically is specific diff virtual workouts all in a 125degree hot dry sauna. Crazy but why not? They offer a free session for first timers. So we went and spoke with Shelby who was very informative and super nice. She showed us all the plans and all the facilities. Besides having something like 10 hot saunas where up to 3 people can do a workout like Pilates, yoga, cycling, or rowing, there is also a small space with brand new weights and iso machines to complement the whole workout. We signed up, bought our towels and mats and did a 30min yoga workout. Detoxification at its hottest! So hot. So sweaty but it felt good. I highly recommend trying it!

I have been to this location many times because it is the only Planet Fitness near me…read more Unfortunately although I really enjoy planet fitness, I would say this is probably the worst one I have ever been to. Usually, I really enjoy this gym because the place is spectacular with cleanliness and friendliness. However, I can't really say that about this location. The employees do not seem too friendly. Usually there is no greeting going into or out of the facility. In addition to that, the floors don't always seem to be clean in the best shape. I considered making a complaint online before, but most planet fitness have a franchise. I have been to many locations in the states. This one has been my least favorite, but unfortunately, it's the closest to my home. I have also showed up a couple times for this place to be closed. The closures usually don't make sense or have any kind of consistency. Also, it seems some of the equipment might need to be upgraded. The locker rooms also usually feel a little dirty.

I signed up for personal training and recently I haven't had time to schedule appointments. It's now been 2 months since I've gone to personal training and I realized I won't have time soon and that I would like the extra dollars to go elsewhere. I asked in person at the gym to cancel it, to which I was told that I would need to talk to Dillon. He was not there but if I called at 9-10:30 the next day I would be able to talk to him. Unfortunately I missed the call window due to work duties taking priority but called the gym around 11:00 in hopes of getting lucky that he would be available. I apologized for missing the call window, the desk worker said it's okay I'll give him your number. The next day I got no call. I called again they said they'd give him my number. I waited 5 days no call. Yesterday I called again the desk worker stated that he was in a meeting and he would give me his number. I said okay, when is a good time I can show up and talk to him because this is 3-4 times now that I've tried to call. He gave me a time I said okay thank you I'll be there. He still took my information (again) to give the personal training manager. I received a text within a few hours of the correct email address to send my cancellation request to. Now I have received the response and have been told I need to honor my contract of the year, or pay 50% of the remaining balance on the contract. Honoring my contract I have no issue with. I did find out during all of this that my personal trainer was no longer an employee of the gym. It would've been nice to have received an email or a text regarding the personal training I was paying for with an update like that. Overall like I said, the gym is well equipped, and clean, but at least in my experience the customer service / billing area could use improvement.

Very sweet dude and had no issue with the fact that I had my toddler with me at the time. My issues started with my consult with Caleb. The dude was trying to guilt and pressure me into paying for him to be my personal trainer. He had asked me how dedicated I was to my weight loss and management; because I said extremely serious, he felt it was appropriate to shade me because I refused to pay a man to stand around and "train" me while I work out. Caleb is literally fatter than me. How am I going to trust an overweight man with my weight loss? The dude looked curvier than any auntie with a beer gut and was trying to tell ME my workouts aren't enough and tried to pressure me into lifting. I explained to the dude I had a service-connected back injury, I know my body, and I know my limits. But Caleb thought Caleb knew better. He needs a reality check if he still works there. I dodged his texts and calls when he tried reaching out to get me to reconsider. I went to the gym on and off as needed, but it really wasn't the environment or vibe I wanted. I decided to build my own home gym and it has been SO much more rewarding. I have NEVER missed a payment. I have money in my account always, but suddenly when I submitted my cancellation on Tuesday, the 28th of April, they want to magically bounce my payment??? I resubmitted the payment Wednesday, the 29th of April and got the confirmation, but these scammers never took it out of my account and decided to tack a $15 late fee on top of my usual monthly. You can bet they saw me today. I paid the balance and will never darken that doorway again. Absolutely disgusting business practices. Whoever runs this place deserves no respect. Take the $40.99, that's the last of my money you brokies will ever see.

Everyone has a different capability. I've had both knees replaced and the range of motion I've gotten since doing Barre is incredible. Pearl, her Grandmother does a senior Barre class which I also take as I'm a senior. Her classes are not as intense, however, you WILL get a workout. Pearl also teaches beginner tap and advance tap. It's so much fun to learn something new and not the run of the mill. Starr often teaches Barre and she will work you as hard as Mandie with corrections as well. TRX is also offered, but at this time as there is a schedule change, Look up when the classes are available. This is not an aerobic class but it does get there. . It's form, balance, posture and toning.. Working on all the parts of your body, boody, flabby arms, and toning your abs. Get off the couch and have some fun with us.

They falsely advertised that they offer CrossFit classes when they are not and never have been affiliated with CrossFit. They falsely advertise their membership prices - they claim to have prices as low as $19.99 per month but you have to pay $40 per month for a year first. You have to pay extra for their facilities - there's no one "universal" membership where you get everything they offer. Their 24 hour gym area is small and overcrowded and you trip over yourself going to and from machines. I can't even do a proper lift in the free weight area without hitting something or someone, so I gave up going. Before COVID shutdowns happened in February, I had been charged unauthorized amounts of varying amounts. The business manager assured me that it was charges for my membership and that I was paying a month and a half at a time. It was post pay a half month and pre pay a month. This was just protocol for their new system and they had to workout the kinks. I was being charged almost $80.00 per month. Which did not make any sense to me at all because one month was $74.17 and another was $78.00. I requested my membership be terminated and I spoke with my bank. My bank told me that shady businesses will charge dollars difference monthly to get around stop payment orders with banks. They reversed the two charges and left it at that. I thought my membership had been canceled. Reopening occurred in May then in June I was charged $57.94. I requested again for my membership to be terminated. A new membership coordinator person spoke with me and told me that I had never filled out a termination form and that she would send me over one. It's been over a month and I have never been sent a form. This month, I was again charged a different amount $59.00. My membership rate was $39.00. So again with the shady business practices. I spoke to my bank again about this. I took to Social Media and their membership coordinator claimed she emailed me twice, furnishing screenshots that she had sent me emails. Which I never received said emails. I looked everywhere because I just want to be done with this shady place.
