Bridget and Chris are more than personal trainers. They have two of the biggest hearts in the world. They take the time to know you as a client and develops a strategic plan to help you meet your goals. When I met them I was a 24 year old who couldn't even run a mile... now I run half marathons! I never in a million years would have thought I'd like working out or going to the gym, but somehow I found a love for Pilates and running in my time at Commit. If you are even slightly motivated to change your fitness level I highly recommend checking out Commit. You will not regret it.

It's been brought up to management before, and it's still happening. When I do see the younger manager there, if I come in later, he's usually leaning back in his chair on his phone or working out. I love the price, and the gym itself, but cleanliness is equally as important, and this place definitely lacks that.

It's a smaller gym and I feel very comfortable working out there. The big plus for the gym though is the trainer Ari. For me he makes working out fun and I actually look forward to my training sessions.

Customer service is…read morenonexistent -- staff don't even greet you when entering or leaving, making the place feel cold and unwelcoming. The gym is rarely clean. Equipment is seldom wiped down, floors stay dirty, and the bathrooms are disgusting with bad odors and poor upkeep. They recently upcharged members, claiming it would add more equipment. All they added were four or five basic machines for regular use. Most of the better weights and gear are reserved for classes or require a premium membership. The new lifting platform is off-limits for regular members -- it's only for classes, and you'll quickly be asked to stop if you try using it. The front and back areas are constantly occupied by classes or group workout cycles, leaving everyone crammed into a tight space. The trainers aren't very professional. Many aren't mindful of the small gym layout -- they have clients swinging barbells right near you, and I nearly got hit more than once. This place doesn't deliver on cleanliness, space, or value.

Kathryn is wonderful! I have had a great experience training with her for the past 6 weeks. When I…read morefirst met with her and I explained what my goals were she was very honest about what was realistic and laid out her thoughts on a game plan (protein goals, number of workouts, food suggestions). She has a background in being a life coach so she is attentive to your total wellness, not just physical, which is key for me. I work out with her exclusively via FaceTime and as a busy, working Mom, it couldn't be more perfect. She is on time and friendly, even at 6 am! If you are on the fence about contacting her, do it! You won't regret it. Scheduling times with her is easy and if I ever need to move times around she is very accommodating. Also, from the beginning she was upfront about her fees and wanted to make sure that we stayed within my budget. She never pushed me to do more than I was comfortable with. Kathryn utilized a phone app called Trainerize, which I love. She loads the work outs in the app after we have completed them so I am able to do them on my own on days of the week that I don't work out with her. It is very easy to follow along.

Months went by without any communication. I was never called, emailed, or notified when the program finally became available. By the time the Pilates program started, I had already canceled my basic $28 membership because I wasn't using the gym. Despite never being notified that the Pilates program had begun, LA Fitness refused to refund the $79 charge. Charging customers for a service that wasn't available when they signed up and then refusing a refund after failing to communicate is unacceptable. On top of that, the facility is often dirty, several machines are broken or out of service, and the staff have not been friendly or helpful when I've raised concerns. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. Better communication, cleaner facilities, properly maintained equipment, and improved customer service would go a long way. I would not recommend this location based on my experience.
