I know that have that little hip thrust "helper" thing where you load your barbell and use it to lie your back on, but no actual machine. ever since I started using a machine for hip thrusts, the workout has been much easier so that's why I'm all for those machines now lol. but all in all this is still one of the better AF locations.

Here's why I love it:…read more* The Gym is well lit, has all the equipment you'd need, and is never too crowded (or empty) to help us stay motivated to work out. * The Studios have great marked spots for each person, with instructors who bring the energy and fun to their classes. Plus, I appreciate that every class starts on time. I personally can't get enough of the Hot Yoga with Sandi! * The amenities are plentiful with towels, hairdryers, lockers and plenty of spaces throughout with everything we need. * The service is great. The Club Manager, Ricky, excels at taking care of the members. * And, there's plenty of free parking so you're never stressed looking for a place for your car or bike. This is a fantastic facility. I was on the waitlist for a 7:30 PM class and was only added at 7:00 PM--giving me just 30 minutes' notice. That evening, I came down with a fever. Wanting to be considerate and avoid getting other members sick, I had my partner go to the front desk in person to explain the situation and cancel. Despite this, I was charged a $10 cancellation fee. When I followed up, I was told they have a strict 'zero exceptions' policy. While I understand having rules around attendance, penalizing members for acting responsibly when ill, especially after being added from a waitlist on such short notice, is poor customer service. The facility and classes are great but this really rubbed me the wrong way.

This place did not disappoint! The equipment was top-notch, the locker room was clean, and the overall gym atmosphere was great. Even better, the day pass was free, which was a huge plus! They also have a juice bar with some really good drinks, making it a nice spot to grab something refreshing after a workout. My only complaint, which has nothing to do with the gym itself, was the parking situation. With the construction going on, parking was a bit of a mess. The construction also took away from the impact of the beautiful views the gym boasts from its top floor, which was a little unfortunate. As a frequent gym-goer, I really appreciated what Iconix had to offer. Between the quality of the equipment, the clean facilities, and the amenities, it's a gym I'd absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a place to work out while visiting Long Beach. Rating: 4 / 5 stars…read more As an early morning gym-goer with over 20 years of experience testing out pretty much every major fitness chain, I know what a poorly kept gym looks like--and EōS Fitness in Hawaiian Gardens is a solid, well-run facility. My normal gym time is 5:00 AM, but I woke up especially early this day, which is why I decided to stop by around 3:30 AM on a weekday. For a 24-hour gym, it was impressively clean. In my experience, other 24-hour chains tend to be filthy, neglected, and used more as a pit stop for showers. That is not the case here, from what I witnessed. What worked for me: *True 24-Hour Convenience: Being open 24/7--and especially early on weekends--is a massive plus for my schedule. So many gyms open frustratingly late on Saturday and Sunday mornings. *Great Equipment & Layout: Solid turf and circuit area, plenty of squat racks, lifting platforms, cinema cardio, cycling room, group studio, recovery room with massage chairs, a pool, and even a Kids' Club (which is rare). *"The Backyard": Neat semi-outdoor space filled with equipment. *3:30 AM Vibes: Only 15-20 people were there, so equipment was wide open. The dumbbells weren't put back perfectly, but good enough to my standards. Solid vibe, everyone was there to workout, not socialize. A Note on Timing & Price: At this price point, it's a solid gym and a great value for what you get. Keep in mind: My review is strictly based on my early morning visit. If I came during peak business hours, my review might be different--or maybe even a lot different--when it comes to floor crowding and parking in the shared shopping center lot. But at 3:30 AM, parking was wide open. Why 4 Stars Instead of 5: There isn't a single "wow factor" that makes this place blow every other gym out of the water. Other people's standards might differ if they haven't seen how nasty a gym can get--or how insanely high-end one can be. But at this price and with true 24/7 early access, it's a solid 4-star option.

love that this place is 24/7 but maybe they need at least one day to close for clean up…read more i would say as a PSA don't even use their lockers unless you want to bring home cockroach infestation. i saw on the water fountain near lockers/restroom a few roaches crawling around but the other two crawled behind the water fountain by the time i took this pic i went to show the guy up front and he just felt embarrassed i could tell. i bought a bottle of water and figured maybe for the inconvenience they might hook me up but that didn't happen. oh well hope nobody drinks out those fountains or tries to fill their canteens with them until they can be sure no roaches are crawling around 3 stars bc they need to clean up and fix the massage chairs/ it's been over a week since they've been broken

I've been struggling with back pain, as a result of a work injury, and Jeff, in addition to training me on new, never experienced exercises and proper weight lifting, introduced me to correct posturing and stretching, which helped with my back pain. Also, along with his unique understanding, attentiveness, and patience with me, he designs my fitness plan to be flexible, making my work out experience, productive, and me, leaving the gym feeling like I've made a difference.
