His few drawbacks are that he doesn't do any cardio outside of a 5 minute warmup and occasional 5 min treadmill climbs (which whoop you). We went 3 months without any running. In the 3 months we trained with him we switched gyms 3 times and he questioned us when we asked to not keep switching. He isn't the greatest motivator and only says "you're doing good" or "almost there", etc in very soft relaxing tones. He also put us on The Warriors diet which was great, but he never was very strict about it. He asked us each week how we are doing and said "do what you can", etc. Again, not much motivation. His training definitely kicked our ass and we enjoyed that but the other factors prevented me from giving him 5 stars. I do feel healthier, stronger, and more fit, but I wanted more motivation and accountability. If you are self-motivated and don't mind changing gyms due to other clients' schedules he'll be a good fit!

I have had personal trainers before so when I started working with Tracee, it wasn't my first…read morerodeo. And frankly, I have always dreaded working with personal trainers. They are always in better shape than I am and push me through multiple exercises in a way that I can't ever remember how to replicate on my own. Tracee takes a completely different approach. We first sat down for 20 min and she asked all of the same typical questions about my fitness goals, injuries, blah blah blah. But then she did something completely different. She educated me. She explained what we were going to do and WHY we were going to do it. In my case, she designed a fitness circuit, which I had always heard of but never done. She made it simple enough that I could remember it. Push, Pull, Legs, Core. To understand what that really means, you'll have to get a session with her (hehehehe!). And that was all good and fine but the real test came the next day when I headed to the gym to try it on my own. It was awesome. I remembered the circuit and the routine. Stretch, Cardio for 15 min and then 2 full rounds of the push, pull, legs, core, stretch again and go home. And... most of all, I came home full of energy and excited for the day. Tracee is super smart. She was a college professor and got her degree in kinesiology so she gets how the body works. Her teaching style with me was multi-modality - she explained it, she wrote it down and then we did the exercises. That really helped me to learn and retain. If you are looking for someone who can really get you into a fitness groove, give her a call. She is incredible.
