One of their leg press machines. (They have several luckily)!

Figured this gym could use some RECENT reviews. I've been going on and off to Fitness Evolution Laurel since 2018 and more consistently in the past year. In that time frame--I've seen a complete makeover happen at the gym. From a new paint job to new equipment to new disinfecting stations. You can tell that the owner, Jose, really cares about his gym and its patrons. The changes are consistent and I really appreciate the continued improvements. Rome wasn't built in a day! I haven't used any trainers nor do I attend the classes, but I have met some of the instructors and trainers and they all seem super nice and friendly. The entire establishment is pretty welcoming and for someone who was intimidated at first, it is really helpful to not feel like you're constantly being judged. At the entrance, you will find individual disinfectant bottles with towels so that everyone can wipe down their equipment before and after. I haven't had any issues with that... and regardless I wipe my stuff down prior to using anyway. The women's locker room is nice and has showers and a sauna as well as a comfy chair if you need a minute. Overall, this is a "no frills" type of gym. You have everything you need to get a good workout in. Free weights, machines, spin room, cardio machines, mats, etc. they even have extras like bands and jump ropes that you can borrow. I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone in the area. Can't wait to see the continued growth of this gym!

My other spot to workout when I need to use free weights. Usually very clean. No one in there drops the weights. Haven't used any of the classes. Just get it and get out. Music is pretty good as well. TVs be on random sporting events like tennis during football season. For $10/mo, I would recommend

This pocket room is on my level!

The facility is massive -- it almost feels like a mall. There's a cafe, indoor pool, plenty of fitness areas, and spacious locker rooms. Everything felt very clean here which is a plus. The Sunday 10:45am vinyasa class was advertised as "medium heat" but it barely felt heated. The instructor wasn't my favorite and the flow felt clunky and disorganized. Her queueing wasn't very clear and if I were a newbie yogi, I'd be pretty confused. Most of the class was spent in child's pose or savasana and I would've preferred more time to flow and play. The studio itself is fairly small for the size of the rest of the gym. As a guest recently, I had to download the app in order to get my guest pass which was pretty annoying. I've never seen another gym do that and didn't appreciate the extra hoops to jump through. Overall, if this gym was closer and less expensive I'd consider it but for now, I appreciate the chance to be a guest here.

But the crazy expensive cost is not worth it. It feels like all the money goes to extras like the sitting areas, pickleball courts, classes that cost additional money, etc. The only gym area is the second floor, and even that is taken up by classes. Machines are often broken and dirty, kids are CONSTANTLY running around unsupervised and playing on the equipment, and the gym etiquette has taken a severe hit. You see people filming, reading up multiple machines, sitting for an hour while scrolling, and not putting things back. I had to change my workout so many times because the free weights were missing entire bands of weights. Again, the staff is incredibly kind and nice. But the gym does not deserve the almost $200 a month price point. I would pay $40.

There isn't a good reason why three ladies are waiting to use the middle shower because it's the only one out of three that has hot water. The handicap shower may have hot water but no one uses it because it doesn't have a functional shower head/hose. The hose just hangs down the wall without a hook to attach it to the wall. We pay a monthly fee we should be able to use the shower especially when we are trying to get ready for work. Unacceptable. I can deal with broken equipment because I can always find an alternative workout, but it's hard to find an alternative way to take a warm shower. Please fix the hot water! There are other things I can complain about but let's start with the fully operational showers. Prices have gone up, yet this gym continues to have one working shower in the women's locker room. The room that they host classes in you're free to work out in when no classes are being hosted! It is often times empty so it's nice if you want mirror space and to be away from the other people working out in the main room. Pricing is more than fair and there's always clean bathrooms and fully stocked wipes and cleaning spray to clean your machines. I was going to the Columbia Golds Gym previously until it shut down during COVID and this one while smaller is just as high quality. Bathrooms are always really clean, and the staff is nice. I really love working out here and I highly recommend!

I started my membership here around New Years, prior to the Covid outbreak…read more Today I made my first trip back to the gym since it's reopened and I really couldn't be more disappointed. 1. Machines weren't spaced out at all to a lot for social distancing. 2. An employee checked my temperature at the door and went over the rules with me, but then proceeded to work out himself with no one monitoring the entrance. Nobody was going around cleaning machines -- it was complete honor system. Once the employee finished his work out, he left and nobody was watching the gym at all. 3. They couldn't even be bothered to add more wipe stations so that you don't have to walk half way across the gym to get and throw out a hand wipe. No new wipe stations, no new garbage cans to dispose of them. This encourages you to walk past other gym members. 4. Since nobody was enforcing masks, people regularly had them off. The employee told me you can have it off when lifting or doing cardio, but people were forgetting to put them back on and their cramped layout and lack of wipe stations/disposal bins encouraged people to get close to one another. 5. No signs on the walls about masks, no markers on the floor. 6. While on a cardio machine, I had a guy like 4 feet away from me on an adjacent machine not wearing a mask because he was working out. 7. When I came in, they told me that they purchased hand sanitizer. They pretty much bought 3 big push bottles of hand sanitizer, but they couldn't even be bothered to space them out on opposite sides of the gym. 2 of the 3 were on the counter at the entryway and the other one was by the Cardio equipment -- again ensuring that you have to walk past people to sanitize your hands. The only things that they've done that are positive: They closed the locker rooms with the exception of being able to use the bathrooms and told guests not to use the water fountains. They had the employee check my temperature, but since he was off working out himself it was easy for people to sneak by (also since he left early). I called the mainline from the parking lot and expressed my concerns and the guy on the phone was nice enough and told me that if I didn't feel safe I could suspend my membership for 6 months, which he said that he would do for me. He told me that they were going to get signs and filters etc next week. But, truth be told, that just made me angry because they obviously weren't ready to reopen and did anyway. I can't believe this was the best they could come up with after having 3 months to think about how to safely reopen. I told them that I would monitor their Facebook page and may come back when they've made positive changes, but upon thinking about it more, it really angered me how lightly they are taking customer safety. With about $500 they could have gone from 1 out of 10 in terms of Covid safety to at least a 4-10. It's either laziness, incompetence or apathy. I intend on looking for a new gym this weekend that's taking proper safety measures.

Joe Buabeng, the said owner of Cloud 10 transformation is not a professional business man or gym. The gym is out dated and in need of renovations the equipment is old, broken mirrors. No frills 2 room establishment. He was my assigned trainer but I only trained with him once for a.half session. Thank God for Mia, Yolanda and Kevin and one more guy I forget his name but they are the only ones there to help you along the way. Not Joe even though he was my assigned trainer and he knows Im currently on dialysis. He pops jn and out of the gym leaving you with the other trainers. However, when he pops in the gym he only cater to his favs and post videos of them. He wrote a text to me after I disputed a double payment that was made. Just incase you didn't see the screen shot picture I uploaded, please see his exact text below. "I'm fully joyed. You will however always remain cripple and unhappy. He continued "You don't need a gym membership you need therapy!!!" Would you want to spend money or time at a place that thinks this way about you/his customer(s). He is supposed to be helping people isn't there some sort of Personal Trainer oath. He gives you a meal plan but he is not a certified nutriousnist. The one thing he admitted to me. He provides a generic menu/ meal plan he most likely copied. So if you don't say I'm diabetic or that you are a Kidney patient or any health issues your probably not eating properly with his menu plan. However he begs for "the goods" they call it but when things doesn't go his way he will say things like he said in the text. Especially if you are a women. He acts like he secretly hates women. He became extremely upset about $79 I couldn't believe it because he was actually paid twice and it was proven to him via email text and in person. If I would have said nothing he basically would have stolen the chump change and still charged me twice. Im glad I paid attention and inquired. I have friends that left due because of money issues in the past. I thought he would have changed since losing all his other gyms. Not Joe. He is preying and praying that you think you need his help to get fit. He knows for every person that leave one will return. I say leave, run don't look back. There are way better gyms. I promise you, he doesn't care. Obviously, Joe does not care about his clients and when he gets upset he will take your money and cancel your membership. Mute Cloud10transformation in memory of that family member who died from any illness. Joe is clearly only out for the money!! But when you catch him he is going to be big mad and use reverse psychology to make you think you were wrong. He is disrespectful and crossed the line on how he responds to women and people with disabilities. This gym should be closed it's basically a scam and you should speak up! Expose him. Im choosing to expose him today. I'm saddened by how he chooses to handle business too. Customer service sucks! He is the supposed owner, trainer, billing department, hiring department. Why does he say speak to the billing department Elisa but she only work on Saturdays when everything is closed. All the other gyms he had didn't survive the pandemic and are currently closed-this one should as well. Please don't waste your time here. Don't confide in him. He will tell all your business to all the workers and they looking at you with the "side eye.". Elisa send emails asking for all the goods, all your personal business. that may hinder you from working out. Only to throw it back in your face when he is upset. But wait I thought Elisa was the billing department. No one is probably even reading it, just a scam. He is too emotional when he wants everyone to think he is an Alpha male. Never have I seen a man act like this before. My God what a shame. Shame on you Joe Bubeang of Cloud zero scam formation. You should be ashamed of yourself!
