They answer any questions I may have, change tv channels if need be and are very accommodating. I've also been with my trainer, Evan, for almost 2 years and he is also kind, accommodating, reliable and present for me during my sessions. Cameron manager of gym is absolutely not responsible for any refund processing entirely his response to my promptly complain of being over charged was he is reaching out to you. I was charged over $1000 after I clearly cancelled as stipulated on small letters in " contract" . So when there's is a case like this I feel like you should directly interact with customers . He is defenseless and also unable to help so please reach out to me and all these people I've seen in past reviews . It is not ok to make money off literally robbing people. We all have so many subscriptions at times it takes a minute to realize they are still being charged . But y'all should optimally not profit off this and off no services in exchange . Please reach out to me my case is still not solved and I'm tired of going back and forth with third party reps and Cameron . 1 Star Absolutely terrible experience. I only attended TWO sessions and canceled at the front desk, yet they continued charging me $65 membership $14.99 every month for over a year. When I called, they simply said, "You signed a contract." The gym is also extremely small with poor equipment and absolutely not worth the price. Solid local gym, especially for the price. There's plenty of equipment across weight machines, cardio machines and individual weights. I especially like the open turf area. Only issue is it can get pretty busy in the afternoons. There's plenty of parking available. read more

Not bad, kind of a small gym with limited variations in equipment, but still gets the job done. Just expect to wait for someone to finish using the machine that you've been waiting forever to use because they're stuck on their phone. All kinds of people from different walks of life here so you don't feel like you're encroaching on the gym bros. I joined and 3 months later I had to move to NJ. They wouldn't let me transfer my membership and refused a cancellation. Harassed me for years with lawyers, phone calls and emails. I'm surprised this gym has more than 3 stars. The staff does not show up for work in the early hrs and it happens multiple times! They always have some lame excuse. Imagine getting all ready and drive there first thing in the morning and a staff member slept in and decided to show up an hr after they were suppose to open. Staff is very friendly and accommodating , but unfortunately the this location (TO) is not well maintained and cleaned up after closing. About 1-2 times per month no employee shows up to open and only 1 opener. Tons of issues with restrooms (especially women's side), and treadmills not wiped down daily. Red light therapy room is not properly maintained (safety issue). Equipment everywhere most mornings and treadmills have old sweat stains on them. Don't be sorry be better please. read more

FRUSTRATION: The gym is fine and its staff are friendly. The rub is if you are a mature person seeking a specific workout regimen on a schedule you will find difficulty. This gym attracts a host of millennials who, true to their culture, are quite self enamored and self indulgent. They will routinely perform an exercise set (no problem) then take an exaggerated rest (5 minutes in many cases) while "texting", therefore tying up the machine with no consideration for other users. This goes on incessantly. I even had an occasion when a millennial left their phone on a seat to hold the machine while using a different machine. I complained, as did many others, to no avail. I'm now at a different location that posts "NO CELL PHONES" on the front door. read more

I have been a member since 2020 and recently this place has gone down hill. Let's start with no staff at the front desk because they are busy sleeping in the back or even worse they over sleep and do not show up to open the gym. People are standing waiting for a member of staff to help them with equipment that is left behind the front desk or to turn on the infra red and tanning treatment room but nobody shows as they are sleeping. So now we help ourselves. Bathrooms are out of order nearly every week so we have to go to coffee bean to use the bathroom. The tv's have to political correct now so it seems all we can watch is sports. Last but not least we have asked for the air conditioning to be turned down and we have been told they have no control over it. I stay at this gym because it is close to home and the members are great but come on let's get this place sorted out. I am not the only one that feels this way. read more

The gym is in the same center as the TO DMV but I've always found parking. As a middle-aged woman, I was intimidated walking into a gym where the front desk was staffed (on that day) by a bunch of young, fit men. But they were so encouraging and helpful. I have been coming here for the last 2 years and training with alexi! She is the absolute best pushes me to my goals! And I'm so proud of her she is the new general manager there! It's truly the change that location needed! Since she has taken over running the gym it's been so clean, and the staff is so nice. And now that she's moved up from training she set me up with a trainer she knew would be a perfect fit for me. Twenty bucks a month for a well maintained gym is a good deal. But the real value is in the personal training. I had been gaining and losing the same 5 lbs for years before I started working with my trainer Monique. She gives me so much more than just a 60 minute workout: tips, cheerleading, and additional workouts to get me through the rest of my week. I have lost over 20 lbs, reduced my fat percentage, and am approaching having an athletic body, something I never thought possible. I am not a gym person. Recently started going to the Fitness 19 in Thousand Oaks. This location is the cleanest gyms I have EVER belong to in all my years of being a gym junkie! The entire staff is amazing. This is not the usual team that just sits at the front desk doing time. They are helpful, engaging and incredibly mannered. Facilities are fine except it can get very hectic when its busy so avoid peak times when possible. What an absolute joke this place is with memberships though. I was in the Thousand Oaks region working for the months of May and June and got my membership at the end of May to run until the end of June when I would be leaving California. I SPECIFICALLY asked for a one month membership and was told that would be possible so I paid and signed a contract to pay for the one month. I then use my month long membership (paying for premium without even knowing it) and assume ok I left my membership expired, all good. Turns out they're running the most beautiful scam where you have to cancel with 30 days notice and can't get out paying while the clock is ticking. This of course was not mentioned to me when I signed the initial contract thinking I'd just be paying for one month. I'm thoroughly let down that I was told I could get a simple 1 month membership and next thing you know I'm receiving charges months later. Really quite frustrating! read more

Great place!!!!! I signed up my whole family a year ago. Trenton and the rest of the front desk staff are amazing. This gym is great! The equipment is top notch, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is perfect for a great lift.
