Think you can't afford an interior designer? Don't be so sure. My husband and I bought some…read morefurniture (impulse buy) less than 9 months ago and have been sorry from the day it arrived. Funny how fabric on a 6-inch swatch looks totally different on a large sofa. After many arguments and fruitless hours looking for just an area rug, we were left with only three options. 1. Divorce with a custody battle over who had to take the furniture. 2. Take up smoking so we could accidentally set the sofa on fire. 3. Hire an interior designer. The least costly of the three. We went with the latter, and it was the best decision we could have made. I found Suzanne on a Google search, not the preferred way to find a designer, but we lucked out. She is flexible and will provide as much or as little guidance in the design process as you would like, anything from just a consultation on paint color to actually shopping for and purchasing the furnishings, the route we chose. Suzanne is fast, too. Within a week of getting our painting completed, she had purchased and arranged for delivery of all of our new furnishings (she also used what we had already bought). We were not allowed to see the room until it was completed, just like on HGTV. I used to think the shocked look on the homeowner's face was well-rehearsed, but my husband and I could not believe it was the same room! And although we had the option to return anything we did not like, of about 30 items she chose for us, which included everything from furniture and accessories to lighting and artwork, we returned one piece. And this is from someone who thinks they need self-check return lines. She was always mindful of our budget, which was probably pathetic by Scottsdale standards, but you can't tell by the finished project (I have posted a couple photos). She also offers redesign services, using your existing stuff in new ways. As for the area rug, we love what she chose. Unfortunately, so do the two destruction machines that sneak out every night to claw it. We're hitting PetsMart this weekend for devices to scare the crap out of them, wait I don't need that on the rug either! I'm sure the puking on it will come sooner rather than later.

She was excellent from start to finish, offering excellent communication, fair pricing and always arriving on time for every single appointment. She also provided amazing referrals for the work that was done. At her recommendation the construction work was performed by M3 Remodeling, they provided outstanding work at a competitive price. Work done included removing a wall separating two rooms, converting the fire place into a very eye catching feature, new floors, full master bathroom transformation, furniture for the entire home, new artwork and more. I am completely thrilled to have worked with Suzanne, and would highly recommend an initial consultation with her to see if her services can be beneficial.

It was my first time in and it will not be my last... I didn't have time to explore the entire store as it's super spacious, but I went straight in and to the right to a little gifting section filled with all kinds of candles, tea towels, notepads, lotions, trinkets and more. AJ helped me out and was super friendly... she made some great suggestions and I ended up selecting some small items that will be perfect for my gifting needs. I look forward to returning to browse and perhaps shop for myself as well. This is a great find in the Arcadia area... so glad I FOUND it ;) See what I did there?!

We reached out via phone and text MULTIPLE times and even went into the store to try speak with someone who could perhaps contact the manufacturer and have them repair or replace it, only to be ignored. We had much higher hopes from the crew at Found and likely now have no choice but to get another table that isn't dangerous due to the potential of falling apart on us. And that store credit that they offered remains unused so really we paid full price for a table that is defunct

Back in 2023, I paid her over $25,000 to design and furnish my home. I wasn't going to write a…read morereview initially--silence felt like the kindest feedback I could give. But over time, as more issues came to light, I felt compelled to speak up. First, nearly every piece of furniture she brought in was used. While I don't mind refurbished items, I do expect functionality. The desk in my office, for example, was painted flat white and positioned against the wall to hide the fact it had a broken/missing drawer. My son received a queen-size bed frame, though he had a full-size mattress. Her solution? "Use the gap as a cup holder." I had to buy a new mattress to fix that myself. The "treatments" she installed in his room fell off the wall before she even finished the project. The living room fireplace I approved in white arrived gray--despite me explicitly saying I didn't want gray. She then "flipped" parts of the fireplace to create a makeshift cubby, which made it look completely different from the design I approved. She added gray barstools to "tie in" the fireplace, but they only highlighted how out of place everything was. In the kitchen, the hutch she "redesigned" was broken, so she nailed the broken piece above it as decor. She offered to make a custom cat door so my cat could eat away from the dogs. I thought it was a cute idea--until I realized she simply used doors with missing glass panels. I later found out the wallpaper she used on the hutch and in multiple rooms was just tack paper. It started peeling within months. When I began removing it, I discovered the walls underneath were never prepped or sanded. The wallpaper in my bedroom is now curling at the top and coming off entirely. She also painted my bedroom furniture with flat white paint, which now attracts dirt and needs repainting. My bed frame was never secured--it rocks back and forth--and the L brackets she promised were never installed. To top it off, she left outlet covers off, used a vanity to hide a large crack in the wainscoting, and the final product looks unfinished. It took her nearly a year to complete the project. I asked to be released from the contract more than once due to the delays, but she always blamed "staffing issues." Looking back, it feels like she sourced nearly everything for free or from discount sites like Temu to increase her profit. The invoices don't even reflect what was actually done, which feels incredibly shady. Most of what she brought in was broken and left that way. I do not recommend her to anyone for anything. Say no to the dresser.

I had worked with a few different designers over the years, but as I enjoy the process of interior design and I'm a bit of a micromanager, I tend to do most of the heavy lifting alone. This time I needed help to oversee the project since this was to be an almost complete renovation of a 30-year-old home. At first, Suzanne and I signed a contract that limited her involvement. Again, I like doing much of this stuff myself and I never had an experience that allowed me to trust a project manager to make decisions on my behalf. Today the relationship has evolved into something totally different. Suzanne is my "go-to" guy for on-the-spot decisions for both the General Contractor and any of the subs. I trust her judgment and her taste to make decisions that support the vision and respect the budget simultaneously. That's quite a statement coming from someone that has a very high bar of expectations, a true perfectionist in all the negative connotations that the term might bring up. My experience has been a pleasure and I would encourage anyone looking to engage a design professional to connect and interview Suzanne as part of their selection process. She is a lovely woman who will respect YOUR ideas and provide guidance when you want her input. She is never pushy and understands well that every project has a budget. My Spanish Colonial style home is now comfortable and beautiful. The results far surpass my expectations! Great experience and I've gained a wonderful friend in the process!
