I originally joined another location of OrangeTheory Fitness but I visited the Langley location…read moreonce and I found myself coming back when my schedule permitted. The establishment is located in the strip mall right across the street from Willowbrook mall. Enough free parking and I've never had a problem. The studio is in shape of an L and the numbering system on all the equipment is apparently a little "backwards" from most other locations, but I don't mind. I have had classes with a few different coaches and they each have their own style and way of infusing fun and motivation into the classes. There is a basic structure to the classes, but the exercises are always a little different so you never feel like you are doing the exact same workout twice. Complimentary use of the shower as long as you bring your own towel. I like this location because the staff and coaches take the time to get to know you as a person especially if they are a new face to you. They were already greeting me by name on my second visit. A very nice touch that brings a smile to my face before my workout! Admittedly it is a little pricier than your standard gym membership and you have to another upfront cost for use of the heart monitor. It also works better if you download the app and sign up for classes ahead of time. But if you feel like you need someone to guide you through a workout and you push yourself more as a result of it (I know I do), then OrangeTheory Fitness is worth a consideration.

I started off by attending classes 2x a week but then increased my plan to unlimited. The staff are wonderful. Whenever I've had an issue or a concern, the issue has been dealt with quickly and professionally. I love how each class is different and targets one's endurance, strength or power. The coaches are inspiring and push members to do their best. If they feel that you can lift heavier weights or increase your speed little more on the treadmill, they'll push you to do it. They get to know people's names which creates a sense of belonging. I love how there are people of varying places in their healthy living journey at the gym. No one is there to judge. Everyone is there with one goal in mind. I highly recommend this gym!

Guess with the real estate being so cheap in Langley relatively speaking, you can play ball hockey here, it's almost 30 feet wide. And the workout area, though not gigantic, is about the same size as Brentwood's, just a bit longer & personally, it's more organized. All the cardio on the right; free weights in the middle, & universal on the left. If i'm in the area next time, i'll make an effort to come here again; i won't say that for City Square or the one by Metrotown lol. Free parking right in front, good-sized lot.

I refuse to use the toilets here, they're disgusting and obviously haven't been upgraded since the place opened 30 years ago. What exactly does my gym enhancement fee go to? With other gyms opening up in Langley recently, I'm planning on taking a look at what these new establishments have to offer, which is too bad, because I really like my personal trainer at Steve Nash. Another complaint I have is that the music is way too loud, and theres no water coolers to fill your water bottle. Given that most people have headphones in, I'm not sure why they need to blast the music. And I'd really prefer not filling up my water bottle in their nasty bathrooms or the water fountain.
