The head trainer and owner, Logan, brings an infectious enthusiasm to his 10-15 person classes, using his experience to push his athletes towards consistently great performance. You also get to see the progression of others each month on his PR wall. The community greatly reflects Logan's approach. It is filled with young professionals from around the Minneapolis area who are friendly and sociable. After classes, those with time can be found on the gym's reclining couch, urging the next class on while sharing drinks. Others take advantage of the onsite chiropractic care, expertly handled by Corehealth Chiropractic and Dr. Neil Crane. Overall, Crossfit Nordeast provides an experience well worth it to those looking for something more than your average corporate gym.

Can I give 6 stars? This gym is amazing! The vibe is…read morenon-intimidating, supportive, and fun! The instructors are skilled and hilarious and somehow make doing planks fun. They also make everyone feel welcome. I've only been for Pilates classes but have been to several of them and loved them all. Pilates classes tend to draw a female crowd which can be intimidating but this studio couldn't be further from that. Everyone is welcoming, no one cares what you wear (Lulu who? Wear your favorite t-shirt), and every skill level is accommodated. They have 4 reformer machines so for classical reformer classes, they have 4 spots. I typically go over lunch and book ~5 days out and usually don't have an issue getting a spot. They use the MindBody app and have their own app as well so booking classes is easy! They use a waitlist and most times I've been on the waitlist, I get added to the class. The instructors mix things up and keep it interesting with fun music! I've been to reformer classes elsewhere with soft, soothing music and it nearly put me to sleep. Not here! Expect 80s jams from Jean, Lizzo from Andrea, and the Doobie Brothers (or Beyonce!) from Ruth. They have a Pilates Circuit class that combines the reformer, jump board, tower, chair, mat, TRX, and more. I haven't done the same workout in a Circuit class once. Circuit classes can have 12 (or maybe even 16) people in a class which is super fun and keeps the energy in class moving. The studio has cubbies for your belongings, a bathroom, towels, and a shower. They have a parking lot with maybe 10 spots and tons of parking spots along the street. I haven't had an issue with parking but they are next door to Psycho Suzi's so on a summer Saturday, give yourself extra time to park. Upstairs they have the "Treehouse" where they hold barre, Pilates, and yoga classes. The back wall of the studio is all windows that face the Mississippi. They also have the "Basement" where they have open gym and weight classes. They even have open gym times in the "Treehouse" with the Pilates equipment! Their prices are wonderful! Your first week is free so definitely try that. I did and 6 months later, am still going to classes. Your first month of unlimited classes is $59 which is INSANE for Pilates. Their memberships get you any class - reformer, yoga, kettlebells, whatever! PLUS unlimited access to open gym times. After the intro month, their prices and membership options vary but are still some of the most affordable options I've seen. They have a 12-class-a-month option for $135 which means each class is $11.25 - for reformer classes! I've seen studios charge $35 for one class. They host free outdoor workouts in the park, bike rides, and "Planks & Dranks" events at local bars. If you're looking for great workouts, a supportive workout community, and affordable classes, try a class at NE Fitness. I suggest the Pilates Circuit Class with Andrea to get you started. See you there!

And believe me! If you do exactly that they guide you to do --You will see results in not time! 3. The classes!! -they are fantastic! I love all the classes but -yoga, barre, or cardio classes are my favorites, they have taken my weight training to the next level. There are so many to choose from! The instructors are fun and passionate! they don't motivate, they inspire! 4 .The weight training programs -I love that my routines change, I never bore! I may sometimes modify the weight or the number repetitions but focus on the good form and then -BAM again!! my body changes too!! Trainers teach me the whole routine for the first time and record my profile. They help me to track my progress and create realistic goals. 5. Motivation -I am not only surrounded by excellent trainers, but also by strong ladies. I have witness the transformation of many ladies. I know where they started at and where they are at now with their fitness! It helps to see committed ladies working out so hard and watching their progress -and that they notice mine too! At other gym that I used to go, I was intimidated by the trainer, or other users - not here! I look forwards to go! I have a gym ready bag with me all the time! That's not all; Uplift has incredible challenges with prizes! (Although, the ultimate best price ever is the results -and finally fit in those jeans). 6. The facilities are super clean, and the fitness room is "state of the art" with "on demand" classes to accommodate my schedule! There is a big screen with a projector and I can select the class that I want to do and the duration at my convenience! 7. Uplift is 24 hours! For a couple months during the winter, I worked all day ! But I was going to the gym super early or after hours and get me work out done! -hours of operations are never a problem. 8. I never have to wait for machines or equipment! Uplift has enough of everything! I have my working out buddy and we both do the same routines when we are together. Yes!! Get a friend to go work out with you!! This makes every " burn" look super fun!! I have been a client from Uplift for over 6 months and now my body ask to be taken to the gym! and I can only put 5 stars to recommend this gym here, but it truly deserves 10.
