I've been a member at Fit Results for three years, and it's truly more than a gym--it's a community. From the time I moved to Chicago to getting in shape for my wedding, this place has been part of my life. After a major surgery (a myomectomy to remove a large fibroid), I struggled both physically and mentally. When I returned, I weighed 165 pounds and felt very weak. The Fit Results team met me exactly where I was. They customized a program for me through semi-private training, supported me with nutrition guidance, and helped me rebuild my strength safely. Because of this support, I'm now down to 149 pounds, stronger than ever (from squatting 15 lbs to 125 lbs), off my diabetes medication, and no longer a candidate for cholesterol medication. Group classes are fun & challenging, but if you're recovering from surgery or dealing with cyclical weight changes, I highly recommend personal or semi-private training. Be transparent, they will help you achieve your goals! No judgement! Huge shout-out to the owner AND every trainer at Fit Results--they are all incredibly skilled and truly know how to support you no matter where you are in your fitness journey. #STARTNOW #GETFIT read more

Fit Results is a great place if you're serious about improving your fitness. The environment is clean, motivating, and well-maintained. The trainers are knowledgeable and supportive, and they actually take time to guide you properly instead of rushing through sessions! Workouts are effective and can be adjusted to different fitness levels. I've noticed real progress since joining, both in strength and overall energy! Overall, a very positive experience and definitely worth it!! read more

Love the team at Fit Results. Lou has created some thing special here. No matter if you're a beginner or advanced. You're in good handss.

Fitresults has been a "godsend" for me. I joined the gym back in April of 2019 and as a result my health and fitness has never been better. Lou, the owner and trainer extraordinaire, truly cares about the people. Lou has created a culture and community of people who look at one another as FITFAM. I highly recommend this gym, you will get personal attention and care like no other gym. The owner is the FITFAM's biggest cheerleader. There is no better gym. During the COVID re-opening Lou has taken extreme measures while following all CDC guidelines. There is thorough cleaning nightly and throughout the day of all equipment and workout areas, everyone is required to wear masks and he added hand sanitizer stations all over the gym. There are also strictly outdoor workouts for those who feel more comfortable, and indoor workouts with stations 6 feet apart. They workout plans all allow for everyone tonhave their own weights and space. He truly is going above and beyond. You will feel safe being here. read more

Because I was in town for work for a month, I didn't want to slack from the gym. I searched spots near my work location, and this gym showed up! They offer unlimited classes for your first month for only $59. Great deal! The schedule was accommodating to my schedule, so it worked out. I came about three times. My first class was the butt blaster. It was a bit weird coming in as a first timer because I was t sure where to check in and I felt like I was interrupting the class that was still in session. Once I got a hold of the instructor, I was all set. The instructor wasn't very hands on, which was a bit discouraging. She was off helping other members that were not a part of the class, and chatting it up. My other two visits were better (boot camp and triple 20) and I felt like the instructor was more involved in the class and pushing us. I definitely saw a sense of community but I believe it is hard for a newcomer. read more

You know how you can tell where a gym's priorities are? Take a quick count: how many salespeople are there vs. coaches? I try A LOT of fitness classes and there are several things that stick out about this place that are completely unique to this gym: 1) The gym owner is one of the lead coaches in the mornings. He also put his entire story of how fitness saved his life and how Fit Results came to be. This is not a chain; this is one man's passion with some help from a great group of co-coaches. 2) There is no front desk or sales staff. There is no custodial staff. There's just coaches that are there to work and make you work. It may seem intimidating at first since it feels like everybody knows the routine and lines up, but just introduce yourself to the coach and someone else taking the class and you'll feel right at home. 3) It is only group classes, group training, or personal training. It might be a turn off for some, but I have never worked out harder in my life and I attribute that to the structure of the group. Plus the variety of classes suits itself well to finding the style that works best for you: want to do some endurance circuits? Triple 20. Want to do strength training at your own speed? Strength/Cross Training. Want an unpredictable challenge? Bootcamp. There's also great specialty classes like boxing and stretching for a change. 4) The atmosphere is unmatched. There's usually a hip hop DJ set playing on the speakers. I grew to do my best work (even outside of the gym) to some of the DJs Mixcloud sets, I think you'll gain an appreciation for the genre. Blacklights also light up the gym before the sun rises so that everything has a high-energy glow, as opposed to a harsh, fluorescent wash Give it a shot. It might be kind of scary the first class and you will probably feel extremely sore the next day, but keep coming in and you'll see what this community has to offer. read more

Really like this no BS gym in south loop. These folks have you working hard for the better part of an hour. You will sweat. Don't you worry about that. Even a beginner class will make your muscles cry. Coaches are tough, and the other people in class push you to work harder. They are on ClassPass and have events ever once in a while. If you are in the sloop and want a solid bootcamp class with stations, this is a sure bet. Also thanks for the great event Sany!!! read more

I've been going to Fit Results for a little over a week now & you'll have to excuse my French but this is a no bullshit gym. I have not had the opportunity to experience the personal training however the classes are some of the most challenging workouts I've ever experienced albeit me being out of shape. Don't confuse challenging with intimidating though as the coaches will guide you almost every step of the way in addition to pushing you to your limit. There's different "variations" to each class to ensure things don't become redundant & I've recently begun to receive motivation & support from attendees. The classes are super to schedule via the app & if you have any questions you can shoot a quick email & they usually respond within a couple of hours. read more

This place has the greatest work out you will ever complete. Remember all those times you were at (insert expensive gym name) and you were by the weights losing track of how many sets you did for an exercise you saw on Instagram but you didn't really know how it fit in with the rest of your goals? Well thats over now because Lou and his friends are here to the rescue. 2019 has been such a fulfilling year for me because Fitresults supported me the whole way. I scheduled my winter weeks around Ronica's semi one-on-one classes where I listened to my body as it learned a movement related to my goals of running 2 half marathons this year. I made sure each weekend counted with Lou's bootcamp or Touleen's strength training class. Finally, Monday blues were never real because Greg snapped me and a mob of others back to reality and showed us that life goes beyond a work week. This is one of my favorite places to be. After having to have shoulder surgery I luckily stumbled upon Fit Results even though it was only about a half of a block from where I live. It appeared to be a place that I might get a personal trainer which is what I thought was the best thing for me. When I entered I was met at the front desk by the owner, Lou. He is the sort of guy who has called me by my first name ever since I entered the gym. The actual facility is large and has more than enough equipment/machines for what I need. Everything is kept very clean, including the bathrooms. I generally come to work out in the afternoon and there are few people who work out at that time. I do know however that there are different sorts of classes that are held as there is one just before I arrive. At any rate, once Lou got some essential information from me about my goals and my past experiences with exercise he assigned me to a personal trainer that he thought would match my needs. If you are looking for a personal trainer, I can more than recommend Coach Boun. Every day he comes prepared with a list of exercises that will build a particular muscle group. He will also explain how a particular exercise works a particular muscle. Moreover, because one of my goals was to work on cardio he generally asks at the outset if I would like to run a certain distance outside to do that. Then we come back and work on the list of exercises he has outlined for that day. I really appreciate that he motivates me to do more and to want to do more. Before Coach Boun and Fit Results I can't imagine ever saying that. read more

I have been doing personal training with Bryant at both the Logan Square and South Loop locations and really love it. Bryant specifically is able to push you, but you still feel energized after. Both locations have some cool equipment I have not seen before. Everyone is always really nice and it is not an intimidating workout environment--there are super experienced people and not so experienced like myself. Highly recommend Bryant and the gym itself! read more

Have been there for 4 years before I leave Chicago last year. Great gym and great people. Oh, Fit Results, how I miss you! I was a member for three years and loved it. The coaches, Lou, Paul, Greg, Jen, and Matt are all awesome. They push you, but make sure you're working out in proper form (key!). The vibe is energetic and the members are friendly and challenge one another. Since moving out of Chicago, I haven't found the same challenge combined with a high energy yet friendly environment. The classes are great. Triple 20 and bootcamp are my favorites. Each time is something new and each coach challenges you in different ways through a variety of exercises. You won't get bored or stuck in a rut! Lou, the owner, is awesome! He knows your name and knows when you haven't been in a while. It creates a sense of community and the periodic happy hours to hang out with other members is great. There are holiday parties and celebrations because it's like a family. read more

Teamwork. Encouragement. Friendly. CLEAN. Effective. Motivating. And SWEATY kicka** classes. Just to name a few attributes most gyms lack, but FIT RESULTS excels at. I live a few block down from Fit Results, and it angers me that I didn't start sooner. If your like me; I get easily intimated, have hella commitment issues to be tied to a gym, LOVE DONUTS, and need all the help I can get to get fit. I've brought groupons to multiple gyms in chicago, and jumped around. I ended up at Fit Results in my last hope to get fit before going on a trip. With zero expectations, and my anxiety and nerves at an all time high-I signed up for my first class. Lou-the owner, was so cool, funny, and encouraging throughout the class. But don't get it twisted HE IS NOT YOUR FRIEND during these workouts. He's your couch and is determined that you give it your all. After class or before he's one of the nicest guys in the gym. I really do like how he keeps everyone accountable. Something I know I need. He takes the time to know your name and makes you feel like you are apart of something. I love how Fit Results makes you feel like you can accomplish anything as long as you put sweat into it. It's a gym about getting to YOUR GOALS vs emptying out your pockets. Paul's classes are amazing and he'll push you, and ensure that those deadlifts you are doing are in correct form. I haven't had the chance to take other coaches classes, but everyone there is so DOPE! All the coaches takes one another classes, and it so fun. If you're looking for that feel good/old school feeling of being apart of your high school sports team-try this place out! Each class is a different workout, and they also have some GREAT MUSIC playing all the time. Sometimes/most times I'm the last one on the rowers, but rather than being embarrassed or judged, everyone there and even the coaches are encouraging. Fit Results will help you get into the best shape of your life, and encourage and empower you give and do YOUR BEST. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE. I've been going to Fit results multiple times a week now for about a year and a half. I never really saw myself as someone who would enjoy these bootcamp type classes and ended up trying it on a whim through ClassPass. Prior to that, I only used weights and focused on strength training. I quickly realized that l had a lot more goals I needed to strive to in my fitness journey. Through classes like Bootcamp, Triple 20 and other HIIT classes offered, I've seen noticeable increases in strength, muscle definition and my lung capacity. All of the trainers are experts and will not only push you past your limits, but motivate you to come back again and again and get your butt kicked! I higly recommend Fit Results to anyone and everyone whether you are just starting your fitness journey, whether you are an athlete looking for an edge, and everyone in between!!! read more

Wanna get a good burn and feel yourself sweating off the pounds? Come here! Fun classes, awesome trainers and you're guaranteed to shed some pounds and shred! Between coming here, working out at my neighborhood gym and the occasional yoga or fitness classes I take at Healthy Hood I have been able to shed 15 pounds and still plan on losing 7 more! I will say this is my favorite gym though because I always leave class feeling like I just burned 1000 calories. I've only taken the butt-blaster, strength training and the Triple 20/ boot camp class because of my schedule but all the classes sound fun. It's a prime location for me with it being within walking distance of my daughter's daycare and dance studio and right off the Roosevelt stop. Lou is the best trainer I've ever had. He pushed me, with smiling encouragement, to keep trying, keep going and not to give up. I went from hating workouts to waiting for workouts. The camaraderie was warm, and it really was both relaxed and invigorating at the same time. Also, Lou is quite simply a very kind person, and the people around him also were that way. I was way behind the others, but no one judged me. I really felt like Lou was proud of me, as a true coach should be. read more

A gym that works, a gym that cares, and a gym that treats you like family. That's how I can really wrap Fit Results into a few words. I am so fortunate to have linked with Fit Results. They are instantly my go to gym. I just wished I lived closer!!! But overall, I love the environment. When you enter, you are not just anyone. You are part of the Fit Family. Whether you are just getting into this lifestyle or a trainer, they train you like an athlete and they adjust work outs according to what makes you feel comfortable. They have such a variety of classes and at so many different times. Another great thing is, when youre there, youre never doing the same work outs. I find myself breaking a huge sweat every time. Luis is a very nice and professional trainer. He knows his work and guide to reach the results you want to achieve. He has real knowledge in fitness to help in endurance (awesome for runners like me) and to build a stronger core. The groups are awesome. Highly recommend Bryant, the personal trainer. The staff is very nice and friendly. There is a good selection of equipment.

The past 9 months coming here has changed my life. As an athlete coming off multiple surgeries and months of rehab, this gym was able to help me achieve my goals and get me prepared both physically and mentally for getting back into sports. There are plenty of fitness options in South Loop, and as a newcomer to Chicago I walked by everyday feeling intimidated seeing the exercises they were doing and stuck to my regular lifting routine with little change in my fitness and strength. I finally gave Fit Results a shot with an unlimited 1 month pass to finally try it out. I have never experienced a more challenging workout before and realized I needed a class environment to push me to work harder to see the change I was looking for. No where else will you get the variety of classes that is this affordable (personal training is also much cheaper than other locations). Each class is different from the last so you'll never feel you are doing repetitive workouts. Lou and Paul make everyone feel so welcome and have created a vision for this gym to make you feel like part of a family. The positive environment of the people who come to this gym make you look forward to going - everyone smiling, partnered exercises, helping each other with weights, etc. Also as a new person to the city it was able to help me meet new friends with similar interests. If you are looking to change up your regular gym routine or have your own fitness and health goals I suggest giving this place a shot to see if they can help you become a better you. read more

This gym has given life back to the people of south loop but to me as well. It feels SO good to be at a gym who has such caring instructors and strictly following CDC guidelines. This is a great place if you seriously interested in fitness and want to stay active while doing different workouts and challenging different parts and muscles in your body all the time. I have came here probably eight times over the summer and have to say that the workouts are really intense but fun (they are really fast paced and somehow times really flies fast over there which is a good thing when you are sweating your heart away). What is the best about this place though is the passionate, fun and very caring instructors. All of them are very knowledgeable and will not let you do things wrong because they really care about you not getting hurt. They will also push you to do the extra squat, extra step, crunch, whatever it's! I enjoyed working out with everyone but my favorite trainer is definitely Greg, make sure to check out his classes. I'm not a boot camp type of girl and was a bit worried to come here at first - but the owner Loui (I'm sorry if I misspelled the name) made me feel super welcome by inviting me to their special outside workout and picnic afterwards right away - for my very first class . It was so sweet of him to include me with the community right then and I had so much fun. You can definitely find some sweet and very friendly people here also among those that work out with you. Really nice folks, many of them down to earth. I'm more of a yoga person/hiker but if I ever have a strong need to get my butt sweat and do some squats again, this is THE place I would go to!!! read more

I have been coming to FitResults for about 3 and a half months by now and I have to say I don't plan on stopping, even after I hit my fitness goals!! The trainers here are fantastic-they're incredibly knowledgeable and are always willing to help out with any questions you have. The workouts are absolutely killer and even though they kick your ass, you're going to want to keep coming for more. As someone who has lost a lot of weight but was struggling to stay motivated to go to the gym, these classes have gotten me off the elliptical and held me accountable time and time again. You literally don't have to think about what you're going to work on during your gym time--you come in and just do whatever it is the trainers have scheduled for the day. One of my favorite parts about the classes is the group dynamic that really pushes and inspires you to keep going and keep working hard. As they always say at FitResults: Less rest, more reps!! read more

I stumbled across this gym 2 years ago because of their 1 month trial rate and because they were pretty close to where I lived. When you walk in the door you are instantly welcomed into the most motivating, friendly gym community that I've ever experienced. All of my best workouts have been at Fit Results - they're always challenging, there's lots of variety and they'll push you out of your comfort zone. It may seem intimidating at first but the workouts are really made for all levels of fitness because modifications are always offered for varying level of intensity and if you need any further modifications, just ask the coach! They're always happy to help adjust the intensity level or change up the exercise because of an injury. Two years later and I am in the best shape of my life, I am now coaching classes & personal training clients that are a part of this amazing community. I've met people that I never would have met any other way and what brings us together is the drive to become better versions of ourselves and help others do the same. Probable the one of if not the best gym I've been to. It's located in the south loop so if you work downtown or live in the area, it's a perfect spot for you. I really like the ambiance of this place. It's not like the regular big gyms. It's personalized and has plenty specific classes that tailor effective results!! I started going around early August and I have seen significant results as far as my abdominal area and arms which is what I was working on. The two too classes I enjoy include BootCamp HIIT and Triple 20/BootCamp combo. During the summer months, we run outside and then do different HIIT workouts inside. Lou is usually head over my classes since I go after work. If you're looking for a great CLEAN gym with personalized help, this is the place for you! read more

Lou has been my personal trainer for 2 years. We've trained in commercial gyms, the great outdoors and he even comes to me (to the gym in my condo building). I wasn't looking for an in-your-face trainer that does the same workout routine with every client, and that's why we clicked. Lou listened to my goals, helped me set additional ones, and got me on the right track to achieving them. He helped me gain muscle that I was having trouble gaining on my own, as well as correcting muscle imbalance between my left and right sides (as evident in my last DEXA scan). Group training has never been my thing, so I was hesitant when Lou first asked if I wanted to participate in one. Now it has become a competition among friends. Lou keeps it interesting, fun and makes an hour class seem to go by fast. As a 44 year-old male, I can confidently say that I am in the best shape of my life and I'm glad that Lou has been on the journey with me. read more

I came to Fit Results after buying a Groupon, and I decided to buy a package for additional classes. Despite the fact that I have pretty well-equipped fitness room in my building, I've pretty much concluded that slogging away on the treadmill is no comparison to the challenge of a good group class. Fit Results certainly fits this bill. After the first class I was exhausted, but I keep going back because Lou makes you do those exercises you hate and wouldn't do yourself (read: burpees). Lou creates unique and challenging circuits, so each class is different and goes by quickly. I've gone to the bootcamp, triple 20 and combo classes and leave in a sweaty mess and a 500+ calorie burn every time. Lou is friendly, motivating and even gives you a high-five for surviving class at the end! I hate/love that there are so many great reviews for Fit Results because I really enjoy the small intimate class sizes, and I'm sure more people will find their way to Fit Results and stay because of the excellent workouts. read more

Lou is the best!!! Only FIT RESULTS can make me wake up at 5am for a workout...and when I found out there was evening and Saturday classes I was even more excited!!! Every workout is different....from weights to kettle bells to rowers, he switches it up and you can feel your strength build with every class. Your body is in constant movement and the hour goes by quick! Lou is great at motivating you but also makes sure you go at your own pace. He genuinely cares about his clients and takes the time to make sure you are doing an exercise correctly. You will never feel out of place and you will feel muscles you never knew you had!! I love the mix of people in the classes from long-term clients to brand new clients, everyone encourages one another. You will come out of FIT RESULTS with a stronger body and some new friends :) FAVORITE CLASS: Triple 20 (Challenging, you will sweat your butt off, but worth it). There is street parking and its FREE if you go to the 6am class. What more can I say.... you HAVE TO give it try, I bet you will be back for more than one class!!!! read more

The reason I started to come to this gym initially was because it offered a groupon. I could've just bought a regular gym membership but I find that group classes are more effective for me. I chose this gym over other gyms because of all the 5-star reviews it was receiving on Yelp. Within first class I took (which was the triple 20, and it kicked my ass!!) Lou was already addressing me by name and I didn't even introduce myself! That really surprised me but I remembered other reviews saying how Lou does care about his clients and remembers them. For me that was an encouraging feeling that I wasn't just another body filling up space. Now to the classes..OMG!!! I felt like a sack of potatoes after my first class it was so challenging. But one of the encouraging things about going to this class is that you will see a range of fitness levels but everyone is struggling just like you. Each class is different, especially the bootcamp classes, and will target a certain area of your body. But also what I like about this space is that is really is up to you on how hard you will push yourself. The format is fluid and simple and effective but YOU gotta bring it! Lou is always right there to keep motivating you and he does. I don't really don't weigh myself for lack of a scale, but after a month I and saw some definition returning to my body. It's really satisfying seeing your improvement in performance after each time you return, and you will. F.Y.I. Get the month long unlimited classes for 70 bucks. Once you've decided if this is your gym, it's the only way to go. read more
