Better traction in the middle lane here. No need to worry about catching up with the other swimmers swimming laps in your lane. A great pool. Unlike the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre, I had to go into the slow lane here once, and yet I enjoyed uninterrupted swimming, and achieving results in half the time than in the fast lanes at other pools. Quite large and spacious. Great range of classes and learn to swim programs. The showers stay on until you turn off the taps in the change room facilities here. Soap is available too. Again a great pool. Fairly good rates. Location wise, excellent. Only a short stroll from Central train station.

For any spa treatment purchases, one can use the spa facilities before/ after your massage. This includes the indoor heated pool/ jacuzzi / steam room/ sauna/ gym. We used the couples room located on the 18th floor for our massage. The room has a view of Hyde park, so beautiful :) The massage itself was relaxing (the masseur was able to "untie" some of the stubborn knots on my shoulder, which was good as I slept like a baby that night). I wasn't a big fan of the scalp massage . Oh well. I would highly recommend anyone to bring their loved ones here for a special treat :)

There are ALWAYS machines available for use, even during the peak times. I always find myself taking a dip in the pool and sweating it out in the sauna if I haven't sweat enough in hot yoga. Although I find it frustrating at times to sign up for classes, I really like the premise that you know that you will have a spot for a class. The three strikes rule makes it so people who sign up and don't show up get a penalty. It is a little overpriced, but you do get what you pay for. Also, I was able to freeze my account so i'm not sure why others have not been able to.

Why do I even pay for a membership when I can just wait to walk in with someone else??? Supposedly the gym is being monitored 24/7 by "cameras".. there are no such thing. Why do I keep coming back?? The gym has now become a platinum Fitness First which is a good thing considering its smaller then most and can't handle too many people. With that said they have expanded it in size a small bit thanks to the Monorail station being taken down. In its place they have created a small room with gymnastic equipment that looks really cool. They have an awesome looking climbing frame that looks straight out of Gladiators or a tough mudder course.
