I love the fact they open at 7 so I can unwind after a night shift with a steam, jacuzzi, sauna etc. All in very pleasant surrounds which generally they monitor well. The showers in the gents wet changing room leave a lot to be desired as do the lockers which, due to broken trays, drop your pound coin on the floor when you stick your key back in. I have had two treatments here. One was a dual room back, shoulder, facials scrub and massage. It was very relaxing and very professionally done. The staff obviously know what they are on about. I have also had the £30 back shoulder and neck massage and it was the best I have ever had. She was very firm with me almost to the point of pain. Ahh but it was so good. If I were visiting town I would try and stay here just for the Spa.

The facilities include a Fitness Suite, 25 metre pool, Sports Hall, Sauna / Steam Room, Outdoor All Weather Pitch, Crèche and The Waterfront Café. I particularly like the fitness Suite which has had a major refurbishment (still the great staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere) and the Crèche facilities which i have used several times. My children would disagree and say it has to be the crazy slides in the pool, which keep them amused most Sundaysand unlike most pools this is one is not freezing! Talking of the pool, my children learnt to swim here and gained their swimming awards in Otters and Seals levels. For those little ones who just can't get enough of swimming there are progressive swimming groups that require more dedication. Oh and don't forget you can reclaim your parking tickets once you are in the Leisure centre.

The clubs boasts the largest selection of resistance and cv equipment in the area and is layed out well. The whole Club is always clean and the atmosphere is perfect for the fitness enthusiast as well as if you just want a bit of social time with a friend. For my membership I get full use of all the facilities, including the spa area with its hydrotherapy beds, sauna, jacuzzi. On site there is also beauty and hairdressing, physiotherapy, sports massage, NHS dentists and the studio classes. The studio timetable is excellent with a large and varied timetable including pole dancing, spinning, pilates, hula cardio and loads more. At just £20 per month with no joining fee, no time restrictions and the free service all I can say is that no other club provides so much for so little. This is definitely scarborough's no.1 Club.
