Absolutely do not contact, hire, communicate with, or work with in any way. I logged on today to…read moreleave a review of this law firm, and it turns out my experience mirrors that of another reviewer (Nate S) nearly word for word. I worked with Daniel Findling for 4 months during which time he did not much more than bill me for mistake after mistake (including drawing up a primary parenting time and child support document that had my name and my spouses name wrong, the incorrect name for my spouse, an incorrect ATTORNEY for my spouse, and even more egregiously, had me listed as the defendant when I was, in fact, the Plantiff and Daniel's client. Since properly and professionally terminating my relationship with Daniel Findling's office I have made repeated (5+) attempts to contact the office including both by phone and email. I have had ZERO response; ZERO acknowledgement that they have received my emails or my voicemails. I submitted a formal complaint to the BBB and the conducted their own attempts at contact as per BBB procedure. They too received zero contact, zero response, zero acknowledgement. Mr. Findling should lose his law license, but in the meantime, protect yourself and absolutely do NOT use this firm.

He was referred to me by my divorce attorney, He was…read moresupposed to be her replacement because she had to go on maternity leave. I have evidence and proof he did not do much work at all. He was not even prepared for a passport motion I had in court. He did not email the referee anything before our court day to show proof that the other party in the case was lying. He read the email late to the referee while we were in court and didn't send anything before hand. Also he was on the call 1.5 hours early when our zoom call was at 10:30am he got on the call at 9am and I have proof. He did not even know the time of our zoom motion. Who get on a zoom 1.5 hour early. No one . And he charged me for that time. I felt he did not care about me. He was charging me for things he did not do and I have proof. Bad decision. Big mistake. I did not feel comfortable working with him. When I called his phone went straight to voice mail. He did not make me feel comfortable and safe and when he saw my review he threatened to sue me. Be careful everyone he may do the same with you. He could have called me nicely and talk to me about the review but instead he went straight to suing me for money I have never seen in my entire life. I am an instacart shopper and barely pay my bills and now he is trying to scare me by sending this email to me. This shows you want kind of person he is. Instead of him talking with me he goes straight to suing me for money I don't have any most likely will never have. This email was uncalled for. A simple conversation and Understanding of where I was coming from could have taken the review off yelp but instead I am editing it to be more clear about where I was coming from. I paid hIm $1500 up front that I had to borrow from a friend and family member and I have a balance of $2700 with him. I have proof that some of the itemized billing he charged me for he did not do the work. I am not lying and this is the complete truth and I'm sure he knows this is the truth. Now he is trying to scare me and sue me for $500,000. Seriously he goes this far because of a review no one as even seen yet. Wow hopefully people with see the review I just posted because everything I'm saying is the truth and he knows it's the truth and I have evidence and proof he did not do some of the work he claims he did. I'm not lying.

I'm still perplexed by this, as I would have definitely blown if asked. I even told the officer at the station that I didn't recall them asking me to blow, and they drew blood anyway. That's Royal Oak for you. But none of that seemed to matter. Mr Johnson did the bare minimum to help me and he got paid. I only chose him because I got a letter in the mail from him suggesting I should use him as a lawyer. He's basically an ambulance chaser. I think would have done just as well with a court appointed attorney, if not better.

I'm not sure how he has 3 bad reviews with my experience with Roy, he's by FAR the BEST ATTORNEY…read moreI've ever came across. I found Roy a few years back searching online for an Attorney for this Stupid case in Royal Oak where my med card was expired and I showed the officer my renewal document and he still ended up taking me in for a Possession of Marijuana, I spoke to other attorneys and they we're all saying they can get me 6 months probation which I thought was Absurd. I ended up going with Roy and he got it dropped to Disturbing the Peace and a fine of $650 and the case was dropped, no Probation, no Advisement, I walked out clean. Now in 2025 I somehow got 5 tickets not exaggerating, go to MICourts n type my name Andre Babbie for proof of the cases. Out of the 5 tickets 3 speeding, 2 Careless, (look it up) and Roy was able to have me walk with ZERO POINTS, between Troy 2 tickets Warren, Sterling, Orchard Lake, he went to all these courts and I'll I had to do was pay fines. #JUSTCALLROY

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Brent Jaffe and Jaffe Law Firm…read more I retained the firm expecting timely communication and diligent representation. Throughout my case, I experienced repeated communication issues, including unanswered phone calls and text messages when I needed updates and guidance. There were also occasions where I felt court dates and important case matters were not being handled with the level of attention I expected. As a result, I was left in a difficult position regarding my court matter and was unable to make arrangements that could have allowed me to spend Father's Day weekend and previously planned family time with my children. During an already stressful situation, I found the communication and attitude I received to be unprofessional and dismissive. My experience left me feeling unsupported and frustrated. I would encourage anyone considering this firm to carefully evaluate whether their communication style and level of client service meet your expectations.
