I feel very fortunate to call The fishers veterinary hospital and clinic "my vet". The doctors and staff are very personable, kind, intelligent and caring. Many of them greet my pets by name even before we check in for our appointment. I appreciate them having three locations however I primarily use the Fishers location. I like having the availability of communicating with the staff by phone, text and/or email. Also, I feel that their pricing for services is very competitive. I highly recommend this practice!

I have taken my dogs here in the past. Usually referred over by their carMel office. I feel confident when I wwalk in here that my pet is goinG to get the kind of care they deserve. Today my Labrador had an ultra sound and dropped her off in the morning and picked her up in the afternoon. Results came in a timely fashion. The front desk people here are great. Plenty of space as well. I would highly recommend these guys.

Dr. Brown and the Fishers Veterinary Hospital provide excellent care, service, and communication. We've had a great experience with all visits and especially appreciate your professionalism and communication.

We love the staff and doctors at Fishers Vet. For nearly twenty years they have taken care of our family pets.

Most cold hearted vet that I have ever been to. They handled the death of my dog poorly and had no compassion.

I was met with compassion and I could feel the love from the staff, even though they did not know my baby. It helped immensely during the worst day of my life. I sent my boyfriend in to pick up his ashes a week later and the nurse hugged him while he cried, and shed her own tears with him. It was so beyond sweet. Flash forward to today, I had to rush my new dog in for incessant coughing fits. I was worried he couldn't breathe. Admittedly, I have a tendency to over react to things after losing my last dog. I once again was show compassion and my dog and I both felt taken care of, seen, and listened to. Thank you for everything you all do. I know working in emergency veterinary care has to be one of the most difficult jobs in the world. My boys and I are eternally grateful for all of you.

Review of VCA Advanced Veterinary Center - 7712 Crosspoint Commons, Fishers, IN 46038…read more I had a very disappointing experience at VCA Advanced Veterinary Center in Fishers. While I understand that veterinary environments can be busy and stressful, professionalism and compassion should never be optional -- especially in an emergency care setting. One of the staff members, Danielle, spoke to me in a way that felt dismissive and condescending. When you're already worried about your pet, the last thing you need is to feel talked down to. Communication matters, and tone matters even more when clients are under stress. What was even more frustrating was the sense that administrative or social corrections seemed to take priority over actually helping patients get seen. Instead of focusing on the urgency of care, there appeared to be more concern about correcting people in conversation. In an advanced veterinary center, the primary focus should always be on patient care and compassion. Additionally, the overall atmosphere felt uncomfortable. Some staff members appeared disrespectful not only toward clients but also toward their own coworkers. It did not feel like a supportive or team-oriented environment. When employees seem disengaged or dismissive, it reflects poorly on the entire organization. I truly hope management takes feedback seriously and works on improving communication, professionalism, and overall workplace culture. Pet owners bring their animals here during vulnerable moments -- they deserve empathy, urgency, and respect.

Trigger warning: pet bereavement…read more We are newer to the area and had went to a vet on Springmill but I didn't care for his bedside manner towards my cat. Anyways, Lilly Vanilly (Lilly) was always food insecure. She was a dumpster kitty that was weaned way too soon. She became obese and had some health problems because of it. Last month she became constipated. She would strain and cry. We attempted all of the things. Pumpkin, forcing fluids, high fiber wet food. We made an appointment and they got us in the same day for a ROUTINE appointment. They didn't charge for an ER appointment which I appreciated. They took X-rays and Lilly needed to be deobstipated. I left her there for the afternoon. The initial deobstipation didn't work. The second one a few days later worked much better and she seemed like she was getting along much better. Back to her normal self! Fast forward a week later and she was just not doing great. She had to go to the kitty ER in Indy and stayed for a day. Anyways long story short they fixed her once again. Temporarily. We lost our poor girl today. I'm not sure if it was the constipation or the fact that she may have had an obstruction but her last month of life was heartbreaking. All-Star was incredible through the entire process. Seeing these comments about how expensive it is has been strange because I feel like the cost of services is on par with any other facility but the staff here shines! Even follow up texts to ensure things are going well. Yesterday I made an appointment for 0800 today because she stopped eating and began exhibiting signs of generalized weakness. Lilly didn't make it to her appointment. She passed about 7am today. I still brought her in, but a different kind of appointment. We made the decision to get the personalized cremation where they return the ashes in an urn of your choice. They also allowed me to take paw prints which I turned into art. They'll do much better prints for me as well (I'm not a professional paw print taker, but I love to paint and Lilly would always kind of just sit and watch while I create. I'm glad I had supplies with me today) anyways. As sad as this story is I still have two cats as patients and I'm very impressed with the care that we received.

Both she and Sydney guided us through putting him down when it was time and made it a memory that we can look back on without guilt or regret. It was as good as a sad situation like that could be. We just adopted an older dog with an unknown past and I was so grateful to book an appointment with Dr. Foust the morning after we got her. She gave her all she needs medically and advice for us for helping her adjust to her new life. We just moved out of state and I will miss her and Sydney and appreciate the extra time and care that they gave my family during the 2 years we lived there.

In addition to the euthanasia fee of $197, I had requested an individual cremation, with return of the ashes, and was charged $475 for this. This seemed high, but in a stressful situation, I trusted that I was fairly being charged the going rate for this area. Days later, I decided to check with 12 other local vet offices to get their quotes for similar cremation services. Quotes ranged from $198 to $301! I contacted Julie, the Windermere hospital manager to see if there was a mistake on my bill. She said the fee was correct, attributed the high price to the cremation service they used, and wouldn't make any adjustment to my bill. When I received my cat back and saw the name of the cremation service on the paperwork, it turned out to be the same one used by 2 of the other practices that quoted me a price of just under $220! I feel very taken advantage of by Windermere Animal Hospital at a traumatic time, and will not return to this office in the future.

I got the itemized bill and asked what the two randome charges were? One was for processing and the other for a vet visit! I never talked to a vet. They advised the doctor had to look at him. I asked do I get a report? How is he? They said no report just a visual inspection. I never agreed to this charge. I just paid it and left. My cat was wet, petrified and smelled horrible. I will never go back there for anything.

It was a Saturday, so my regular vet was not open & I wasn't familiar with any other emergency vets in the area. This place showed up in a internet search, so I called the Carmel location which was closed and rerouted to Fishers. The lady on the phone was nice & advised it would be $100ish dollar to be seen for the initial consult. I said that was fine & they told me to bring her in. They checked her out, advised they would need to induce vomiting, and gave a breakdown of the price. I knew it would be expensive being an urgent care place but it was still a little more than I anticipated. Total price was around $830. That was for consult, the medicine to induce, the medicine to stop it, and some other items. The fine print also says you will get charged a 3% fee if paying by credit card so I paid with a debit. For reference, my normal vet which is a low cost clinic was about $140 to induce vomiting, as my other dog had to have the same thing done when he was a puppy 4-5 years earlier & ate something he shouldn't from the trashcan. Anyhow, being it was time sensitive I went ahead with it. They were able to remove the object & they called the next day to check on her. They then said they could clean the wound and put her on antibiotics so I could take her to the vet tomorrow. They quoted $452 for this. I said that's fine. A minute later they walked in with our dog and said they couldn't clean the wound because she seemed scared. I told them then that needs to be removed from the bill. They told me that cleaning the wound is free. This place is such a scam. It is obvious based on the immediate response of asking what my budget is. I will never go back.
