The new marina is very nice and even has a restaurant / cafe that you can get fresh food / meals from. Their rental pricing is very affordable which is nice. However, make sure to rent in advance because their rentals go quick on nice summer weekends. The marina is easy to get to and they have plenty of parking. The marina has everything you need from food, ice, beverages, boating essentials (sunscreen, life jackets, coolers, etc.), and more. I would highly recommend Alum Creek to anyone looking to rent a boat / jet ski / kayak / etc. It's always a fun time!

Recently we visited Pleasant Hill Marina to rent a boat during an overnight trip to Mansfield. We…read morerented a boat here a couple years ago as well so we knew we would be in good hands. We reserved the boat online where we were able to reserve for the number of hours we wanted. We choose the lowest option which was 2 hours. Upon showing up for our reservation we were given a test for a one day boaters license. We were then taken out to the boat and walked through all the safety features before being sent out on the lake. The lake is not incredibly large but big enough to find a spot to relax, swim or drive around looking at scenery. We look forward to visiting this location again soon.

When my Buffalo chicken sandwich arrived, I started laughing. It was an over-cooked chicken finger on a bun. The waitress was embarrassed to bring it to me. Another manager walked over and said she'd take it off our bill. Another in our group had a tiny "breast" as well. This is really the only place in town but I'd recommend driving a little further down the road for a better value.
