Fantastic venue! I attended John Legend concert and prior to that had attended Indy Fuel Hockey game. During the Fuel game, not a bad seat in the house. As a concert venue, most seating is pretty good. Had floor seats for Legend which can have less favorable views as you're seated back further (not surprisingly) They serve really great quality foods, a step about your normal venue fare. My BF had a smash-burger w fries which was absolutely delicious! If it's your thing, they have a liquor bar w specialty drinks and beers. I found concessions to move very quickly, even during the Legend concert which was notably more people-packed and action-packed compared to the Fuel game. Parking can be a problem- I see that is one of the most complained about issues. I can't comment fairly on parking- I can walk to this venue therefore did not need to mess with this situation however it is easy to see how quickly things can back up. That being said highly recommend building in more time to arrive and park so that you don't miss the show.

Very cool venue. We were here for an Indy ignite, major league volleyball game, they also are the home of the Indy fuel hockey team. Smallish Arena, with lots of vendors on top for food and drinks. A really great location for a group event. I was also here for a traveling show last fall where they had chairs on the floor and it was a really nice up. Close venue. Nice bowl shape seats are comfortable, and seems like good side lines from anywhere in the arena.

Indy Fuel games are one of my favorite things to do in Indiana during the winter! I can go with my boyfriend, family, or friends! It's great for everyone, and it's such a fun environment. There's really not a bad seat in the house. I love the new Event Center, and it's closer to us than where they used to play! Parking is much easier, and it's continent to be able to pay ahead of time. Food and drinks are expensive, so we like to go on the 317 Wednesday games to get a little bit more bang for your buck. We also buy our tickets closer to game time if we can to get better deals on resale tickets!

I've been to this new venue 5 times. Highlights of the good and bad: - Wide array of food and beverage options (though, very expensive) - Bathrooms weren't always clean or stocked with the necessities (even toward to the beginning of an event). This seems to have improved over time. - The parking situation is a nightmare. While improvements have been made (thankfully, it no longer takes us well over an hour to get out of the venue area), it's just an awful situation for everyone. For a brand new event center, I'm confused why it was structured this way when it's not that large of a lot. - Paying to park in this nightmare lot feels a bit unhinged? It's not cheap parking and half the time, the pay ahead link doesn't work (even though it's cheaper to pay ahead). - The security process for entering has become more efficient over time, which is a plus! - Small seats. As an average sized person, I find the space really uncomfortable. I typically can't wait to get out of there. While I want to support the teams that are housed there (go Ignite, Fuel, and Freight!), every time I've been to the event center has left me wondering why I return. Got a great sunset pic though!

Went to the professional Bull riding championship and what a nice facility. It was a well attended event. I'd have to say things are pretty well organized with parking and the bip parking pass is worth it for easy entry and exiting is faster, the food line is pretty quick and it's good although on the pricier side, and they have a wide variety like frozen flavored lemonades, 2 gourmet and plain popcorn, bottled water, ice cream sandwiches and drumsticks, pizza, chicken fingers hot gos and smash burgers with condiments. The restrooms are easily accessible and clean plus some are large for a family to use. Seating in the stadium is comfortable padded sest flip up chairs. There's plenty of room in your seat and railing along aisles for those that need extra support and aisles are good. Attenders filed out to exit pretty well and we didn't have to wait to exit. Nice venue. All of the workers were great too! Also reservations for parking and tickets are super easy to get ahead of time! Everything is well marked for sections and rows. We could see well and they have a huge Jumbotron with viewing from all angles. Great place!

Overall, my first visit to the Fishers Event Center to see John Legend was a good experience. The staff we encountered were polite and professional. Getting through security and to our seats was a breeze. There were plenty of concession options, with prices comparable to other event centers. The center is small enough to feel intimate, yet large enough to offer plenty of seating and great views. My only real complaint was getting to the center from the interstate and dealing with parking. It seemed like there was only one main way in, which led to long wait times and made parking a headache.

We attended this location for a field trip for a student centered event. The location was well taken care of clean and the bathrooms looked good. I think this is a great location for other events, but I'm not sure the set up they had for this event was very good because it was all too tightly packed for the amount of attendees. I would definitely go here for another event to try it out.

First and foremost, I had NO clue that there was a local hockey team. The facility looks fairly new and was well kept. The bathroom was clean. We were greeted when we walked in. Parking was $10 by scanning the QR code in the parking lot. The food was of course overpriced. I got a pretzel and it actually made me sick to my stomach. This was my first hockey game. It was really fun. We had decent seats. I hate that ticket master charges so many fees. I didnt see the family pack until after I already checked out. That was WAY cheaper. I'd definitely go back again.

My husband and I stopped in here last month to see Crime Junkie on tour. He surprised me with tickets as part of a fun weekend he planned for our anniversary. Absolutely loved the show! The visuals from the screens were great, the sound quality from the mics was great, and the seats were comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. They had plenty of concessions for people to get drinks and basic snacks from, as well as other vendors geared more toward actual food (we saw one right when we walked in that had Philly cheesesteaks and they smelled good). I also loved that the popcorn box didn't not spill smaller pieces all over the floor like the ones at Butler events do. We didn't have anyone seated next to us in our row, which ended up being really nice. We were in the front row that had the ledge in front of it that separated the seats from the floor, so we were able to use it to set our drinks on and didn't have to hold them the whole time. We also were able to angle ourselves more towards the stage without bumping into anyone, but I do think it would have been a bit tight if we had gone to a sold out event or just had other people seated right next to us. Our other major qualm was the parking.... It took a little bit to get into the parking lot, but once we did it was fine and we had no trouble getting inside. Attendants were everywhere to help guide cars in and people inside the building to have tickets scanned. Leaving was a completely different story. It took us 40 minutes to get out of the parking lot. We had planned to eat dinner at Chatham Tap in Fishers (nearby), but we ended up arriving 7 minutes after their kitchen had already closed because it took so long to get out of the parking lot. Because of that, I am not in any rush to return here for an event.

First time coming to this new event center. Very nice venue! If you know where IKEA is then you can make it there easy. It's across the street. Check for the QR codes to pay for parking. I don't know why it's $10 to park on a surface lot right next to the building. Be sure you stay and have your license plate number. It was easy to navigate, but I had to walk back a little bit to put my plate number in. It says you can get a parking citation if you don't. It's really nice inside and has a lots of food options. I saw popcorn, nachos, smash burgers, hotdogs as the main food choices. Restrooms were easy to find and it was pretty simple to find your seat. They have a gift shop that was busy and hard to move around in. We wanted to look around more but it was really busy. Nice view of the court from our seats and Pepper the Indy Ignite mascot was all over. Although some of us wanted to get our picture with her and she bypassed us and a few others and never came back. :-( We were right next to her too. Lol The Orlando Valkyries mascot came up and we got our picture with her. Nice venue and can't wait to come back to see the Indy Fuel and Fishers Fright play.

Whoever did the planning for this needs to be mentally evaluated. It's wedged between IKEA and the hub of restaurants, which seems like a good idea until you try to get there. There are 2 entrances right next to eachother and it's the only way to get in and out. It's an headache to park and an absolute nightmare to leave. And also you have to pay $10 to park in the lot that literally connected to the stadium and really your only viable option for parking. The inside is really nice with great seating and good options for food and drinks. I went to an Indy Ignite game, which was so much fun!! Great energy and a great game but the parking situation makes me never want to go to another one. Which should not be the case. An absolute failure of urban planning

The venue itself I give a 10 out of 10. We went to see the ladies volleyball team the ignite. They're literally isn't a bad seat in the house. We were fortunate enough to be right up front though they have a food court that has all the food prepared and sitting out under heat lamps I got a hot dog and I think I might've chipped my tooth on the bun it was so hard. Then you take your order up and set it under a scanner where it scanned and you put your credit card in and then they graciously offer you the opportunity to put a tip on.

they set up the show in lights so you could get pictures

You'll spend more time waiting to park, and waiting to leave the parking lot than being at whatever show you are about to see.

Ask the Community - Fishers Event Center

Are the seats easy to get to for those who have mobility challenges? I use crutches, and I can walk upstairs, but it's easier if I don't have to walk up too many or if I can use an elevator.

Yes, there is an elevator which I’ve used. Probably more than one. Of course then there’s the issue of getting down to the row your seat is in and the tight squeeze getting into these seats.

This was my first time coming here to see a play, so I was looking forward to the performance. It has been a long time since I have seen a play at a local community theater, so this was a treat for me. The play did not disappoint me at all. The actors did a wonderful job with the performance. The play is based on a Broadway musical, and it had a little bit of everything from singing to acting with different skits throughout the play. I was laughing and even crying a little bit throughout the play. Mud Creek Players is a great venue in Indianapolis that offers community theater plays and sketches for entertainment. The interior is definitely like an old style stage and theater with a concession stand in the front. All proceeds from the concession stand sales go towards a foundation for the theater. It is a very nice venue and the staff are wonderful and friendly. The play was excellent and entertaining like I said earlier, and it was worth the ticket price of $20. I'm glad I was able to see a play here at Mud Creek Players, and will definitely come back here again to see a play because it was great entertainment for a Saturday afternoon. So glad Indy has culture available to us!

The audience was seated either at tables or were free to sit on the grass. Several groups brought blankets to spread out with some bringing food to eat while they watched the performance. It was a great low key performance. Although tickets were free they did need to be reserved in advance. And donations are accepted which I didn't realize until a friend noticed a small sign and basket on the way out. So if you go and enjoy the performance I'm sure donations are most welcome.

In operation since 1915, Civic Theatre offers 90 performances and 500 opportunities to participate onstage or behind-the-scenes in a professional theatre setting annually. Since its beginning, Civic has had five different homes. In 1915, it started at the Herron Art Institute before moving to the 240-seat Hedback Community Theatre in 1924. In 1973, Civic moved to the 645-seat Showalter Pavilion at IMA before relocating in 2004 to a 490-seat theatre at Marian University. Finally, Civic moved into the Tarkington at the Center for the Performing Arts in 2011. The current theatre has 513 seats. Mainstage productions include everything from musicals to comedies to dramas with an average of 30,000 patrons annually. Education has also always been a strong component of Civic programming with education and outreach programs reaching over 20,000 people each year through classes, workshops, and educational performances for all age groups from toddlers through older adults. As someone who believes strongly in inclusive theatre (I was a drama minor in college myself), Civic does one of the better jobs in Central Indiana of addressing accessibility issues. They are known to offer sensory friendly performances, have offered audio-described performances (and have large print programs), and also offer accessible parking, accessible entrances, and accessible seating that can be reserved. They also offer shows with ASL and Assisted Listening. For those with disabilities, I recommend contacting Civic for more detailed information. I've seldom attended a show here without seeing other wheelchairs or individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. I've never been on-stage at Civic, but I have worked behind the scene in years past. Most recently, I've attended as both an audience member and media member. My experience has been that Civic leans toward more well known, fairly mainstream productions. For example, the 2022-23 season includes The Diary of Anne Frank, The Cat in the Hat, The Sound of Music, and Murder on the Orient Express. Jr. Civic is an amazing opportunity for the kids to get involved. Civic Theatre is definitely one of Central Indiana's longtime stage gems. With an outstanding group of professionals and volunteers, Civic offers consistently high quality performances and a great experience for theatergoers. Located in Carmel, it's an easy drive and a great entertainment in a beautiful setting.
