They couldn't come while the rain was pouring so grandpa soaked in rain and grannie yelpie bucketed and sucked gallons of water. 4. They came the next day. The 3 wise men or the 3 happy stooges (seriously, funny, happy, upbeat given the crisis) - professional, accurate, not over nor under promising, attentive, upbeat and on it! They just dug right in to start the mold prevention and drying the dock. I haven't gotten a bill yet (I may not like the company afterwards! HAHAHAHAA!), but as far as professionalism and responsiveness... Out of the park, over the Citgo sign, into the next realm. Rich was amazing - delivered the service he promised, and he kept serving the call after call after call after call (there was a LOT of water on Dec 18 2023!). If you want responsiveness - CALL THEM. They strung me along for an additional 5 days of equipment use & ran my bill up $500 more dollars. My electric bill went through the roof, on top of renting all of the ServPro equipment for a week. The second had been installed by the prior owners at some point, with a fan that was significantly smaller than the hole in the ceiling so you could see crumbly plaster around the edge of the fan cover. Johnny replaced the fan and replastered the ceiling, looks great. He was on time, neat, and gave a good price. A couple of years ago we did have trouble getting hold of him, but this time he responded right away and was able to schedule an estimate and the actual work around our schedule within 3 weeks of initial contact.

He measured, we chose a door, paid him for the door and did not hear from him again until July 16. He came on one of the hottest days in July to install the new door, worked for 2 hours tops and left texting me he could not work in the heat he'd be back. Left his tools all over my front steps. Next day same thing, 2 hours of work and left. Then let it slip to my husband he was building a deck somewhere! The door was in but was too small. Big gaps up top and bottom, wires to doorbell exposed and it did not shut tight, my dog still escaped. He blamed the door company. We needed to order another door, we did. He billed us $400 for his labor! I paid half and said I would pay the other half when the job was done satisfactorily. It is now October 18, he took the bad door off my breezeway without having the new one already. He said when he went to pick up the new one it was damaged and would not accept delivery. I said at this point I'm not waiting another 4 months for a storm door, refund my money and let's call it a day. He said, "take me to small claims court." So, No, I do NOT recommend Sal's Handyman Service! It's the end of October and after 4 months I still have NO storm door and he totally took the door off and now NOTHING is there! He really helped solve the problem of my dog escaping!

We needed to replace a failing retaining wall in the front of our house. I was nervous to get quotes as I knew it would be a large undertaking. The owner took his time, explaining to me their licenses, thoughtful approach to each step in the process and what his design / structure recommendations were! He was honest, direct and so helpful. When his crew came to do the work they were pleasant and very committed to the project. The final result is perfect! I have never seen a more level or straight wall. Not only was it a necessary undertaking for supporting the front of our house but it has aesthetically elevated our front yard so much! So pleased with the work!
