Food wasn't good at all in my opinion. Overhyped and overpriced. And service wasn't that well either.

I order 6 tacos and the 2 lady's working refused to give me 1 salsa with my order. Made me pay .75 for 1 small salsa. Ridiculous after ordering 6 tacos. Never will be back. read more

Fish Taco Express - Yes this is the salas it comes with drizzled on the toppings. - Tacos Near Me - Perris, California

I had been wanting to try this place for awhile. The reviews were a little mixed but complaints seemed to be about everything but the food. My wife and I saw their truck out at 909 Market and decided to make it a point and stop in soon. My family and I stopped there on Saturday and had the fish and shrimp tacos and they were absolutely amazing. The shop was empty and the young lady behind the counter was really nice and attentive. Its difficult to find a good TJ style fish taco and now we have our go to spot. read more

Excellent tacos! I've had the fish and shrimp tacos and both are outstanding! Prices are a little high but there is a Tuesday special where tacos are just $2 and change. They have a truck that sets up beside the Perris Swap Meet that is just as good. Don't knock it until you try it! read more

I LOVE this spot! They have the best fish tacos in the area. I also love the Shrimp Cocktail and today was my first time trying their Sopes. Really good! The customer service is always really good and the staff is always really nice! I've taken friends and family and everyone is always very impressed. I always visit the food truck on 3rd & G, My only complaint is that I live almost 25 minutes away and I wish I lived closer lol read more

I'm very disappointed. When you see a place called "FISH TACO EXPRESS," you would figure that they have excellent fish tacos. Their fish tacos are less the mediocre. The fish tasted like it was from the freezer and way over-priced. I've owned 2 restaurants so I know food services very well. I understand that they might be fighting to pay their bills, so they compromise quality and raise prices. BUT at least, with a name like fish taco express, please sell a good taco! I bought 8 little tacos and a shrimp cocktail for over $53.00. read more

have you ever heard to Judge a place that serves Mexican food by its salsa? not true! This place has great food and terrible salsa. sometimes you get chips and salsa and sometimes you don't. if ask for it though it's 75 cents for like a literal tablespoon. While i might be complaining about a pet peeve the food is decently portionEd and pretty good and I love the big Anaheims they give you. I may have met the owner a couple times, I just suspended he was the owner he was super nice. read more

Forest time and last time here!!! I ordered the al pastor tacos. Way too greasy and mostly grizzle and fat in them. Overpriced and charge 1 dollar for using ATM or credit card. I gave this place a chance and was not impressed. My wife ordered the fish and shrimp tacos. They were 70% breading and 30% fish and shrimp. The rice was soggy and appeared to be several days old. read more

Just came in here for the very 1st time at 1:50pm to try their fish tacos... Leaving 2 stars because although the fish tacos do look good but again, I've never been here until today but looking at the reviews & my own experience right now, that I just witnessed with my own 2 eyes while the young man made my fish tacos... I can assure you that the reviews from other's beside me, is 100% true. That these employees do NOT wear gloves & that sh*t is nasty, especially in the covid era. So the owner is 100% lying about the employees wearing gloves, while you leaving reply comments under customer's reviews trying to dispute it, the proof is in the pudding. You got A camera right there in the kitchen & in the entrance & all that. So go review your camera footage before trying to deny it & buy your employees some damn food gloves & implement the rule to wear gloves while making customers food. I'm not gonna call the health board or nothin like that but to everybody thats all about sanitary service, while your food is being cooked, these employees do NOT wear food-gloves while prepping your food & indeed do be touching on all kinds of sh*t with their bare hands & then, will make your food with them same bare hands. So I definitely will not come back here, even if these tacos are good like everybody say they are. This is my 1st & last time, I'll update the review for ya'll though & let you know if the tacos are indeed good like the majority says or not, I believe they will be good though. read more

The asada torta was good. Fish Burrito was a little soggy on the breading. Portions are big but smaller portion options would be great. Shrimp burrito was okay. Service took a while but understandable for a small place. Tables were slanted but okay overall. read more

Came in Sunday at 8:30 am, on the way to a motorcycle event that started at 10 am. We still had around 40 minutes to drive. Went in,only 1 couple having menudo. Ordered 2 breakfast burritos & a carne asada taco. Proceeded to wait standing up, thinking order would only take 5-8 minutes. 2 girls working. 1 seemed to be manager, other just parked herself at the kitchen window, 2 men in the kitchen. After 15 minutes,I used the lavatory. When I came out, I saw the cook place 2 tortillas on the grill. From there,it took a full 5 minutes to make 2 breakfast burritos! Why weren't the started when the girl put the order it? The other girl moved like a snail, bagging the burritos, gathering hot sauce, napkins, etc. Finally got out of there at 9:00 am...1/2 hour for a small to-go order. Food was ok, but service was atrocious! We went to our race & told 20-25 people about the shitty service. Barely made it on time! read more

Looking for a tasty taco in Perris, and this place popped up, so I decided to check it out, and I'm glad I did! Best fish tacos I've had in months. Pricey, $12 for 3 small street tacos. When I first bit into the taco, I thought . Ooh, this is good. Mind you I don't like fried fish tacos. So I was spectacle to purchase, eventhough iwas dying to try. Just happen to be in Perris and decided Tuesday was the day. As I got toward the end of tge taco, it started to taste and look like someone put tuna in the taco. It was disgusting. Never again read more

One of the best fish tacos in Perris, the only reason they are not getting a 5 start is because of the prices, I used to come here when the tacos were 1 on Tuesdays and sundays not they are 3 dollars read more

I love this place. The food is really good but the music is the kitchen is way too loud and the cooks singing is awfully annoying!!

My son got food poisoning eating here. It's good, service okay. Could be cleaner and dining furniture outdated.

F'ing SALSA NAZI's!!! I spend $45 dollars on food and ask for salsa because there were none in my BAGS!!!! The girl at the counter says "we charge for salsa". WTF!!! What Mexican food place charge for salsa with your meal. I can see if your asking for extra. Then when she was telling me this, a guy picks up his $10 burrito and ask's for salsa and she gives him 2, no questions asked, right in front of me!!! She ended giving me just 2 salsa's for 4 meals!!! FUCK THIS PLACE!!! read more

Fish taco was OK. I had better at Rubio's fish tacos I seen on yelp that the Carne Asada was bomb but it wasn't I threw more than half of it away kind of sour don't recommend it at all spend your money elsewhere. Order took over 40 min get 4 simple tacos and some carne asada fry's . There needs to be some motivation for the workers they are slow.

great Quality food and service I highly recommend going here The food is great and the price is affordable for a family dinner or quick lunch or dinner spot . Check them out read more

This place likes to use SALT. The food is fine but nothing special. The grilled pepper on the side is covered in chili salt and something on the fish taco is super salty. Definitely something to be mindful of if you're sensitive to sodium or have high blood pressure... One fish tacos is almost $5. That's more than anywhere in LA. But not a bad choice if you come on Tuesday or Sunday for the "deal" which is $2.50 per fish taco. read more

Great potato tacos! Fish so,so one was fried fish others just grilled..I love how generous they are with condiments, cheese, and sauce

Love their food! The hole in the wall kind of places are the ones that make great food. Their fish and shrimp tacos, chefs kiss! Their staff has always been friendly. Oh also, try their horchata too! read more

Best menudo around perris hands down and the there tacos bomb I try going ever week because there food is so Delicious

The fish tacos are $4.50 but very loaded. Same with their carne asada fries. They don't skimp out on the toppings and the sauces, and the fries themselves have seasoning. We also ordered a horchata, and it was so milky and creamy. It's balanced well with the cinnamon. The chilis are well-seasoned with the natural flavors. Very satisfied with everything that we ordered. They have a nice shaded eating area too. read more

I have not tried anything else here but the Fish tacos and let me tell you-They are really good! I sadly now must take 2 more stars away for s good reason. When they 1st opened only some months ago, the Fish tacos were .99 cents. Not long after $1.25 and the other day I came in to find ((Another fricken price increase)). Now Those same tacos are $1.50! WTF!!! 3 price increases since they opened. I noticed some people seeing these handwritten signs of the new price and turning around to leave. This is the kind of crap that will make you go out of business. P.S. Take down that banner outside that says "Grand Opening". (Before Code enforcement does!!) read more
