Three tacos -grilled fish, shrimp and carne asada

You just want some cheap tacos and you're conveniently near Haymarket ?? Well Come on over to Fish Taco! They started out doing food pop-ups across Boston and now found their permanent home nestled in with Boston's Italy. Despite the name they have more than just fish tacos like the tofu, calamari & carne asada tacos as well as bowls & salads. My favorite taco is the shrimp which was packed with flavor and perfect texture and taste. Usually carne asada taco is my go but the one I had was missing something for me could have used some seasoning. I ate the tacos straight though and didn't really end up using the sauces until I had my bowl the next day. The sauces are a gamer changer and take the tacos to their full potential. The calamari salad bowl was great as well. I would have loved more sides and veggies but at home I did my own razzle dazzle and added some salmon, rice and cucumbers. If you want a sugar rush aka you are a child and have a sweet tooth try the prickly pear. It will have you up and running for days. The best part is the price: 3 tacos for $10! We love some quality that doesnt always have to break the bank.. What we got Tacos -Grilled fish, Shrimp and Carne asada Salad bowl with Calamari and the spicy aioli sauce and a side of elote. So happy I was able to try their tacos Wednesday night! 3 tacos for $5??? And it comes with a side (potatoes egg salad)? Best deal in Boston/Cambridge area. They also provide 4 different sauces when picking up your order. Everything was PERFECT besides one complain that I have. More lime LOL each taco should come with at least one lime. I was only give. One lime per order lol Highly recommend trying them out! Would have to order through their Instagram, FishTacos.

I was heading to the North End to get my monthly massage and noticed that Fish Taco was recently opened. 2.5 weeks old! This cutesy taco joint has a very nice vibe. The service is amazing and the food tasted amazing! What was truly incredible was that tacos were $3-4 a pop and a LOADED bowl was $12. The bowl was sooo loaded that it can be 2-3 meals! I'm thoroughly amazed by Fish Taco. Must try this place if you're in the area. Quick bite or a real meal, it checks all the boxes. Oh yea, and that Berry Hisbisc was refreshing!

Fish Taco is a new restaurant in the heart of the North End and offers fast, casual New England style tacos. It's a small space so it doesn't offer many places to dine in but great for take out. My friend and I ordered two taco box sets including a Sea one and a Land one. The tortillas varied from corn, flour, and squid ink! My favorite was the squid ink. Out of the meats, we got chorizo, steak, spicy chicken and seafood we got calamari, fried fish, and grilled fish. Our favorites were chorizo and fried fish! Overall, the tacos were great and had good flavor, but were a little small. We also ordered two bowls, One with rice, grilled fish, and elote corn and another with tortilla chips, steak, and queso. The bowls come with tomatoes and lettuce with the rest of the ingredients. The bowls aren't as cohesive as the tacos but is a good concept. I loved the elotes! This is a perfect spot to go to if you can't find a reservation in the busy Italian restaurants or if you want someplace more casual!

These were just okay. The tacos were pretty small for $4 each, kinda expensive. I liked the carne asada taco the most. The calamari taco was way too salty. The fish were both good, nothing special though. I really liked the spicy aioli that came with it, that was really good.

I ordered a few tacos and a side of elote online for a to go order and was pleasantly surprised to see the sauces come on the side. I 1. Didn't want the tacos to get soggy on my journey home but 2. Wasn't sure which sauce I would like best. The meat was a great portion for only $3. I do wish they had an option for a larger side of elote though

I was eager to try a variety of tacos, though I was warned the tacos are quite small. It was a fair warning. I ordered 5 tacos, and expected to leave stuffed, but I was hungry again by 4:00pm. Eeeek. These are 3-bite tacos. Although small, I enjoyed the flavors of all the tacos I tasted. My favorites were the seafood varieties. 1) Baja fish - really crispy batter, creamy, spicy slaw 2) Yucatán shrimp - great texture, and spicy bean-like plantain puree. The pork belly was sweet, but a bit dry. In addition to the picked red onions, it could have used another saucy component. The carnitas and chorizo tacos were also good, but were less interesting for my palate. My five tacos were $20, without any sides or drinks. They have lots of shareable sides and appetizers, and I could easily drop a lot of $ filling up on their tasty bites while lingering in their lovely space.

They were flavorful, fresh, and perfect for sharing so you can try a few different options. The bowl was okay, but it didn't stand out as much compared to the tacos. The service was quick and attentive at the beginning of our meal. As the restaurant got busier, things slowed down a bit and it became a little harder to flag someone down. That said, the staff were still friendly throughout the experience. Overall, it's a fun spot in Seaport with a great atmosphere, especially if you're craving tacos. I'd definitely come back and stick with ordering more tacos next time!

I had been craving fish tacos for a really long time, and I was delighted to find a whole section of the menu dedicated to them. We started off with margaritas - one of the best companions to fish tacos - and I ordered mine spicy with jalapeño. For food, we shared the lobster empanadas and chorizo and potato taquitos. I ordered the tempura fish tacos for myself. Our margaritas were brought out shortly - mine was refreshing but lacked the kick from the jalapeño that I was hoping for (there was only one thin slice of pepper). Our food was brought out shortly, and I found it a bit overwhelming when our appetizers and tacos came out together. I started with my tacos, and these were excellent. The fish was flaky and fried to perfection, and I loved the rainbow of sauces and toppings. Plus, the tortillas were nice and sturdy and didn't tear. The lobster empanadas were super decadent, and I appreciated the substantial amount of lobster stuffed inside. I was too full to eat much of the taquitos but took a few bites. These also had good flavor but weren't standouts. Next time, I'd just get the tacos and maybe a light app. Towards the end of our visit, the restaurant seemed to clear out, and we had a difficult time trying to locate our server for the bill. Overall, we had a nice meal and satisfied the fish taco craving.

The Seaport space is just as stunning--decked out in pink, super aesthetic, and definitely a fun, photo-worthy vibe. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to expectations. For drinks, I ordered a pitcher margarita with jalapeño, and it was disappointing. It didn't taste fresh and came across more like artificial jalapeño flavoring rather than real infusion--and it wasn't spicy at all. For food, we ordered a variety of small plates to share. Everything was decent, but nothing really stood out. It felt a bit underwhelming compared to the atmosphere. The biggest issue was the service. It was very slow throughout the night, and getting the check was especially frustrating--it took about 30 minutes, and we had to ask multiple times before finally receiving it. Overall, the ambiance is beautiful and perfect for a celebration, but the drinks and service didn't match the vibe. Hoping this was just an off night.

That was fine except the trainer wasn't listening to our conversation nor the trainees. We asked for coffee and they said they don't have coffee yet they serve breakfast and coffee was in their menu. This was the waitress speaking. We ordered guac and chips. Guac was fine just needed salt. Chips were made there and stale. The salsa tasted like store bought salsa and we asked for spicy salsa and they brought Cholula. Boo. They came back a few minutes later snd said e could order spicy mango habanero salsa for an up-charge. We said no. I ordered steak and shrimp fajitas. There were 3 slices of peppers and 5 slices of onions as the vegetables. The steak was not seasoned and the beans tasted like canned beans. My wife ordered carnitas tacos. They were terrible. No flavor, super dry, and the corn tortillas were old and crumbly. Ambiance was TexMex with a bit of southern cali but the food tasted like Jim Bobs TexMex. They were trying to beat Bobby Flay and ended up beating themselves. We did complain about the food quality and NOTHING was done or suggested. We even said give us something else and they just looked at us. We paid and left without finishing our food. They even said this was the new menu. So sad. To bad.

The restaurant was empty so service was fast (maybe a little too fast) and friendly. I ordered takeout. I wanted to try a little bit of everything so I ordered 3 chicken tacos and one rajas taco. Plus chips and salsa and an order of rice and beans. They packaged everything up nicely - even with staples. When I got home, I was disappointed because they left out a chicken taco. I called to tell them but I was on hold forever and nobody picked up. The flavors of the food are good! The chicken tacos were better than the poblano one. At $6.50 for a specialty taco, it's kinda steep in my opinion. The chips tasted fresh and the salsas were flavorful. The full order was nearly $40 so around $20 per person. They have a lot of competition in the area with Bartaco being a five min walk away and lots more offerings, plus it might even be cheaper. They might want to consider specials for lunch/half off after work specials as this is essentially inside the Vertex building. Another option is adding cafecito and breakfast options. I would definitely give it another shot but word of advice - if you're ordering to go, double-check your order!
