The Chips were wet and seemingly under-cooked, which required a healthy amount of Sauce to assist in consuming the raw potato. The Fish was super thin.. almost like they had sliced it in half to get twice the sales out of the one piece, and being so thin it resulted in the fish being well over cooked, and considering how the chips were cooked, it was kind of insulting. The calamari was the worst part of the meal for me, they were almost the same size as my thumb nail, only a little bit bigger in size, and boy were they cooked well and truely to much. My calamari was like I was eating Smith Thin Sliced Crisps, it was off putting. I never got to the Potato Cakes... the calamari killed the meal for me. I believe the shop has a chance to redeem itself, just not with me. Diamond Creek has always been a hotspot for Take-Away for me, however this was a set back.
