Yes, yes, yes…read more.. Amazing fish in a rather fun marketplace. You'd think, heh its so touristy here, but this restaurant serves wonderful fish. Service - the waiters took extra good care of us because they know our friend. Very attentive but not overly intrusive. Ambiance - you are on a side of a walkway in a narrow marketplace. Very much in the middle of the hubbub of Naschmarket. Food we got them to make us a special seafood platter - the hubby isn't crazy about most shelfish so they layered more fish in. The fish was perfectly prepared, fresh tasting and plentiful. Yes, it was expensive but we left feeling quite full Reservations - this place strikes me as a show up kind of place. We called in advance just to be sure. We were only in Vienna for the day but my husband is still talking about that restaurant. Sad that there isn't one like this near home!

Mussels/clams were fresh though the meat itself was on the smaller side. The wait staff was nice and came by twice to change out my big pile of shell plate. I sat outside and got some stares as in how is this girl eating this all?! haha Overall, a very satisfying meal and would definitely recommend in the market!

Overall we enjoyed the place very much. Average price for main courses is about 12-15€. The place is very small and might be difficult to find - it's in the main lane, close to the entrance, on the left hand side if you are going from Karlsplatz.

They also have some Asian produce and fresh foods, like tofu and green leafy vegetables (choy). In the frozen section, they have dim sum, samosas, roti, kulfi, as well as a lot of frozen seafood. Sometimes they also sell fresh pastries near the cashier, but I have not been a fan of those I've tried. I've had good experiences here. I recommend shopping at Josco, especially if you're looking for some Asian foods that aren't easy to get elsewhere. Good service. Staff is helpful.
