The favors were delicious and I ate the entire thing. Beer on draught was terrific with it. Service was great. But be prepared to speak some German, which was fun, as English was not found here.

Posh and trendy, but nothing too terrifying. It's especially great during the warmer months, since you can sit outside and watch people walk around and drink your drink. The staff are lovely and very friendly, and the drinks are pretty standard. Their food is also lovely, not too heavy, yet not too sloppy either. Nice music, perfect location which gets busier and more fun as it gets a bit late and overall great to stop by with a friend, loved one or even some colleagues for a drink/meal. I've actually met a lot of people who claim Deli as their favorite bar/cafe, and I'm not surprised.

The kitchen itself is partially visible from maybe 10 of the 30 dining places available. The 1st floor decor was interesting, with what appeared to be a huge mural painted on one wall. Also, my visit was pretty quiet, but, on a busy night, I don't expect loud noises rising up the open stairs from the modernistic ground floor bar to be buffeted by the bead curtain separating the two areas. The service was excellent, quick, attentive to detail without being overbearing. And the food, of course, the main reason to visit. The summer prixe-fixe menu was quite good, especially the black cod. The only problems I had was with my translation of the menu: the Edelfischstreifen in the bouillabaisse was just salmon. And the pitahaya in the passionfruit/Mango dessert is just Drachenfrucht. Nevertheless, I greatly enjoyed myself, and will have to return soon. 2022 08 24. M1.
