They could cook medium-rare steak which is not so easy to do and many (even upscale) restaurants are failing. It is belonging to Travel Charme group and I am staying in their hotel. So far I am quite convinced about both hotel and the restaurant. If you would like to spend some money on a good steak, this is definitely the place.

Good smoke fish, rude owner…read more We needed three attempts to finally get smoke fish from the Berta! The fish smoke house/boat opens daily from 11am and closes whenever the fish is out or there is no traffic at the harbor. The latter happened to us twice during the week around 5pm! Anyways, we finally were able to snatch some smoke fish before noon at the Berta and it was amazing! I am addicted to smoke fish and I can tell the difference! If you have a chance go for the salmon (Lachs), halibut (Heilbutt), makarel (Makrelle)! + best smoke fish on the island of Ruegen + awesome location: boat at the harbor of Lauterbach - odd hours Cash only!
