Ok, so to adequately reflect how amazing their service was I have to provide a bit of a story. I was connected with someone who was getting rid of a baby grand piano which was perfect timing for my daughter who is taking piano. I contacted Brandon at Firsthand who came highly recommended from a friend, coordinated with him a schedule and he quoted me an extremely reasonable price to move the piano. The day of the move he calls me and says, "I've got good news and bad news" He then explained they had successfully picked up the piano but said he did not feel good about dropping it off at my house because it was in horrible shape and would likely not last or even stay in tune. I had agreed to take the piano, sight unseen and was now saddled with a burden of having someone else's trash. This is when Brandon's exceptional care and customer service shined. He offered to reduce the quoted charge, although I would cover the dump fees BUT he had another used piano from a previous job at their warehouse he offered me for free. He again adjusted the pricing very reasonably for delivery and in the end we had a used but good working piano my daughter is enjoying right now. Wow. I was super impressed with Brandon and Elliott today. They moved a Baldwin Acrosonic down our 15-step (with 3 turns) front patio steps, getting it safely from the street into our home, with nary a scratch, during the hottest part of the day, on one of the hottest days of the year! I was even more impressed with their composure in the midst of very stressful and heavy maneuvering around tight corners. They knew exactly what they were doing, passing a small dolly back and forth, and they also had rugs ready to lay on the ground and to cover any exterior walls / brick work so that there would be zero chance of damage. (My husband would've been cursing up a storm if he had been involved). They were SO polite as well and communication was great. Don't expect immediate responses to texts though (they are busy!) but every time I spoke or texted with Brandon, the plan was clear and I knew what to expect. These guys were so careful and patient moving my precious piano. It was amazing seeing how well they communicated with each other to make sure they were both in complete sync. There were two tiny veneer flaps coming up which they noticed before the move and were extremely careful not to disturb or break. I'm sure other movers wouldn't have even noticed let alone been able to preserve them without breaking throughout the move.
