Absolutely a wonderful shop! Abruptly pulled in to take care of my mom's car, which has been sitting in the driveway for months. They did an oil change, vacuumed and cleaned out the inside for me and did everything the car needed. They are super nice people. Jessica and Brittaney were wonderful to talk to. When I walked in they were cleaning their shop on a Saturday morning. I made the comment that I've never seen anybody actually cleaning one of these shops before, they were always so dirty. Jessica said she's absolutely focused on cleanliness of her shop. Constantly cleaning it. You gotta try this shop and these people!They are wonderful and friendly. It is also a good value. Just avoid this self service car wash. One machine just took my money and didn't even work. The other worked but left sand all over my seats and smelled like mold. The other vacuum sucked so I couldn't even lift all the sand off. Terrible business read more

I bought a truck and brought it there to get my radiator belt a new one and they put it on but less than two weeks later it started shaking and come to find out. They forgot to tighten the bolts on the radiator fan and warped my harmonic bar. I wouldn't go back there again even if I had a choice to go there or no vehicle at all. read more

Great service! My car stopped working randomly in the Walmart parking lot, and couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. My uncle recommended this place to me, and I am extremely glad that he did. They diagnosed my car really quick, and was told that the repairs were gonna be over a $1000. I explained to them that I couldn't afford that right now, and they were extremely understanding about it. The guy mentioned that there is a cheaper way to fix the problem, and now my car is running better than ever! They fixed the problem really quick as well. Due to unforeseen circumstances I have become handicapped and because of my handicapped state and love for my dogs, now homeless. Dylan 120 lb Red Nose Pit, and Paris a white American Bulldog, both federally certified service dogs, and both 13 Earth years old (try renting a place with these dogs!). Perhaps you have seen me in front of Walmart on Mobile HW. I brought in my 2000 Chevy Silverado with constant stalling out, and running rough. I first went in and told First Stop the symptoms. They did a free diagnostic, most likely due to my handicapped state, or because they planned on adding it onto the price within the repairs. I was told it would cost me $325 to fix the two items that needed changing. The first item they pointed out was the ignition coil, the second was the distributer. At the time I was out of SSI money, and had to wait until I could afford it. A week later while on the road the truck just stalled out. It turned over, but no fire was going through to the spark plugs. Well it seemed the obvious problem was the ignition coil, so I had a friend buy one, and bring it over. We replaced it, but same problem. By the way, once you plug in a new electrical part it cannot be returned, so don't diagnose this way. We had it towed to Express Oil on 9th Ave and Charlie said he thought it might be the camshaft position sensor located on the distributor. The truck stayed there for a week, and the crew there were unable to figure it out. They charged me nothing and were honest. In the interim, me and a friend conjectured from the Haynes manual, the symptoms, and advice from a google search, that the problem might be with one of two things, either the camshaft position sensor, and/or the crankshaft position sensor or both. These items were priced at about a total of $100.00 plus or minus $40 depending where bought. These are easy items to change if you have the time and tools to do it. I am on a walker, so I can't do that kind of labor, and my friend didn't have the time. We had it towed to First Stop again, telling them what we thought it was. Well, two days later, and a $540 bill, they had it running rough, with a check engine light that said the camshaft position sensor was bad. They changed the crankshaft position sensor, and the connectors, as well as the ignition coil, something we had bought already! What I didn't appreciate was that they did not call me to tell me what needed changing and how much it would cost, nor did they ask me if I wanted it changed before giving me the bill. It runs so rough that I cannot run my air conditioner, and it is very dangerous for both me and my dogs to be in the truck with this humidity and these temperatures (110 index). I am however thankful that my friend is allowing me to stay with him now. He is going to try to replace the camshaft position sensor when we have enough money. read more
