Update to my original review from 2016 -…read more Sapna has been an amazing care provider for both of my kids. They each have spent 3 years under her care from i.e. 7m to 3.5 years, till they were ready for school. She and her team are well organized and are very flexible. She partners with you in ensuring that the kids are learning and having fun. The premises are clean and safe, with access to different types of toys / books / play structures. My kids have had a great time and we could see the all round development. She has made it easier for us in teaching them various skills. She adapts to the child and helps them work through things. We highly recommend BuzyTots ! and are very thankful to Sapna for all her help.

My daughter was very happy the entire time she was there and sapna is very accommodating and responsive. She exposed my daughter to variety of home cooked foods and I really appreciate that, since she was exposed to all variety of foods from the beginning she isn't a picky eater. She makes the kids pretty independent as well whether it's cleaning up after playing or eating your own food. If there is anything you prefer being done any other way you can just let her know and she is very accommodating and will do it your way. She has a lot of experience with young kids and you can discuss any issue/ challenges you are facing regarding your kid and she can give you lot of suggestions based on experience. Even though my daughter doesn't go there anymore I still ask sapna if I need help with my daughter at home. We even sent our son there for a brief amount of time and would've liked him to continue there but the daycare was closed for a little while. Happy that a good quality daycare is opening again and we would really recommend her daycare.

What a hidden gem! So blessed to have found Dian Dian Day Care for our kids!…read more Both of my boys went to DianDian from 2021-2025, and left the day care because they turned 3 and started preschool. They are 26 months apart, and overlapped for a month at DianDian. As first time parents back in 2020, my husband and I were both super nervous about putting our son in daycare. We toured around 10 day care centers, and finally decided on DianDian; even though it was completely out of the way for us, as we lived in downtown SJ, and later moved to Los Gatos. We have never considered taking the boys out of DianDian. Let's start from the beginning! While searching for daycares for my son, as I was going back to work soon. We came across DianDian. I wanted my son to go to a place that has a clean environment, responsible staff, and focused on academics, Mandarin and music. DianDian checked all those boxes for us. To our great surprise, this would also become a place where my kids felt at home, and the staff became their second family. Michael was extremely responsive when we tried to schedule a tour. While on the tour, he explained to us how much he cared for all the kids that came to him, and it was plain to see with all the holiday cards hanging on the wall from previous kiddos that went there, many cards were sent after the kids stopped going there. It felt really good to see all these families still kept in contact with Dian Dian after many years. I was impressed with the individual beds he had for naps, they are proper beds instead of the stackable cots that most day cares have. They are so much more comfortable for the kids! Also Dian Dian feeds the kids three meals a day plus home made snacks! It was almost unbelievable to hear! Other day cares charged much more monthly, and only fed lunch. My kids loved the food they served. Often they'd get seconds! It's so convenient for us not to worry about packing food for day care. Dian Dian took care all of it! Throughout the day, there are many different classes scheduled for the kids: music (Michael plays many instruments), fun activities that focused on practicing fine motor skills, English (with a hired licensed teacher), story time, nursery rhymes, etc. I was so happy when my son came home and repeated a rhyme he learned to me perfectly! They also cooperated with us potty train our kids. They have these individual child sized urinals and toilets, it's really nice to have the kids get familiar with these while potty training. I have not seen that at other day cares. The backyard has been converted to a padded playground, with slides and tunnels. My kids loved playing outside. They also teach the kids to clean their eating area, I was surprised to see my kids do that at our own dinner table! It was very cute! The hardware of a day care is important; but to us, the attitude, work ethic, and the willingness of the staff to work with parents was the most valuable. With over 30 years of early childhood education experience, Diandian day care has been a tremendous resource for my husband and I. In my own journey as a mom, I have leaned on Michael as a mentor on how to discipline, teach, interact with my kids. I have learned so much from him. Michael was always so patient, not just with the kids, but with my husband and I as well. I'd ask questions like "He is not listening to me! What should I do?" "How should I discipline him?" "I am about to pull my hair out!! What should I do as a parent when I am mad?" etc. I will be forever grateful for everyone's help at Dian Dian. My younger son just started preschool yesterday, and the last two mornings, he has been crying to go to Guan Yeye jia (Dian Dian). Makes me feel so comforted to know both of my sons have spent 2 years each at a place that they treasured. Where these early interactions lay such an important foundation for their education and social lives later. Michael called me this morning to ask how my son was doing, I was so very touched. I wish all the teachers were like Michael, Mama Hong, and Yan. They are truly an amazing group of educators and caregivers that you can trust. I know I will always trust and love them.

They have their own education philosophy and we fully trust them with it. My daughter is a later talker by CDC standards and she had her first word just 2 months post joining Dian Dian. Fast forwarding a few months, she can sing many many Chinese children's songs and rhymes and carry a full conversation thanks to Guan Yeye, Nai-nai and the teacher, Yanzi Laoshi. She maintained a healthy weight-gaining trend and often said that she loves Nai-nai's home cooked food. Kids there all nap in a proper crib in a dark environment which helped my daughter feel at home during nap time. We never had to worry much about her - Dian Dian made it so easy to trust them with our precious daughter. Not a single time that she came home with a dirty diaper, diaper rash or a hungry tummy. Occasionally when my daughter had "accidents" and they even washed the soiled clothing for me. There was 1 time both me and my husband had to work late till 7PM so we asked Dian Dian to help, and they were so flexible to provide help in circumstances like this. I have endless good things to say about Dian Dian. We have now moved up to a large preschool in Cupertino and looking back we have 100% made the right decision to start with a reputable home-based daycare like this.

5 Stars - We couldn't have asked for a better first daycare experience!…read more Our daughter had always been home with us, so I was incredibly nervous about leaving her in someone else's care for the first time. When she started with NuNu at 18 months old, those worries disappeared immediately. NuNu provided a loving, nurturing environment that instantly put my mind at ease. Throughout our time there, communication was excellent. NuNu sent pictures and videos throughout the day so we could see what our daughter was up to, and she always discussed any issues that came up. As the kids grew older, NuNu had a wonderful way of recognizing each child's unique personality and interests. She made sure to offer activities that matched what they enjoyed, whether that was calm puzzle time and coloring for the girls who preferred that, or active play for the boys who wanted to run around. She truly supported what made each child feel complete. Our daughter stayed with NuNu all the way until she started TK at age 4. She made great friends there that we still see even after leaving! We were sad to go when it was time for TK, but we recommend NuNu 1000/100! If you're looking for someone who will care for your child like family, this is the place.

5 Stars - Highly Recommended!…read more I cannot say enough wonderful things about Nunu and Delsa daycare! We first enrolled in 2023 when my son was almost 18 months old. We had toured so many daycares before this one and like most first time moms, I was extremely anxious about being away from my baby. I wanted him to be with people who loved him and cared for him just like his family does, and we were lucky enough to find that at Delsa daycare. From the moment we walked through the door, we felt an overwhelming sense of safety, warmth, and joy. The home is not only clean and secure, but also full of fun, creativity, and learning opportunities for the kids. They even have a private outdoor area so the kids can play outside. Food was included, All homemade and healthy, and my son absolutely loved Nunus cooking! The price was very affordable especially for the area. The teachers, Nunu and Liz, are absolutely amazing. so kind, caring, and gentle. They are literal angels!!! It's clear that they genuinely love what they do and treat every child as if they were their own. They keep the class size small as well so that they can give every child the attention they need. One of the things I appreciated most was their constant communication. They would go above and beyond to keep us connected to our child's day by sending multiple photos and videos. We would get updates on eating habits or if he seemed tired or might be catching a cold. It brought us so much comfort and joy to see all the sweet and fun moments we would otherwise miss. Over the last few years our little one would light up every morning when we arrived and he would come home happy and full of stories. It was hard to say goodbye when our son was ready for pre-k/T-k, but we are so thankful for the experience. Delsa daycare has been a true blessing for our family. If you're looking for a place where your child will be loved, nurtured, and encouraged to learn and grow, this is it!

I don't recommend any parents send their infant to this provider because of two reasons: 1. The infant room is SUPER noisy, and teachers let infants cry. I don't know why but it's always very noisy no matter what time I visit. Sometimes teachers are so busy and let multiple kids cry for a long time. My son usually doesn't cry at home and all nannies say he is a very calm boy, but after the first day in this daycare, he cried too much and lost his voice when he was back home. 2. It's not a good environment to take naps. Crib area is next to activity area so the napping area is also noisy. My son usually has 1.5 hour long nap at home. I understand it might be different in daycare, but he never took a nap longer than 30mins there, and every night he looks exausted back home. I do appreciate teachers' hard work because taking care of infants is not easy. I also like how easy to go outside from the infant room. However, compare to some other providers, this is not an ideal choice for infants. Hope this review can be helpful for some new parents, especially if you are considering Broght Horizons, I suggest to take tours in other locations so you will have better ideas.

I highly recommend Karen at Cupertino Little Stars. My daughter has been going to daycare here for…read moreover a year now, and she is really flourishing. When our daughter started as an infant, Karen would put her in the outdoor porch swing and sing songs to her and interact with her all day. As our daughter has grown, the interactions have changed of course but never the amount of attention or care. She is a year and a half now and she already knows the entire alphabet as well as her colors, her shapes and literally too many songs to count (with motions - adorable!). She is very verbal and she has a fantastic vocabulary which we credit largely to Karen's care. When we were looking for a daycare, things that were important to us included a safe and loving environment, good communication w/ the provider, value on books, reading and learning and a good amount of outside play. Karen provides all that and so much more to her small group of children at her home. She really goes above and beyond to tailor her care to each individual child. My daughter is a picky eater, for example, and Karen is very aware of that, even making her some special 'veggie bread' so she is getting at least some vegetables in her day! Karen has a large front yard with countless pieces of play equipment for the kids, and they spend hours outside on nice days, which my daughter loves. We could not be happier with the care we receive from Karen at Cupertino Little Stars. Her rates are very reasonable, and you will not find a more caring place for your child!

I must say that Karen has been a Godsend to our family! The care she gives through her daycare &…read morepreschool, Cupertino Little Stars, is phenomenal. The environment there is so loving that the kids become family as well as best friends to each other. Along with social skills, they also learn academics with learning letters & numbers, reading & writing, math skills, as well as music and arts. That seems like a lot, but she has a scheduled day and brings it all out in a casual but consistent manner that is not forced on the kids. They have the flexibility to not participate and choose to do something else (but they usually do end up joining in when they see the other kids working on things). Some weeks my kids would come home with lots of worksheet pages, and other weeks not so much - usually because they either wanted to read more books or simply had lots of energy and wanted to play more. You'd think that giving kids freedom to choose either academic work or playing, they'd choose playtime every time, but that just isn't the case. Both my kids were reading at 3 years old under Karen's care. I have 3 kids total, my oldest in school already when we moved to the area. My middle child was 3 when he started at Cupertino Little Stars and my youngest was 1. The 3 year old was very active and very emotionally sensitive (he loves giving hugs), so his terrible two's stage overlapped into three's a little, which was a concern for us and Karen said let's try it out. After a couple of weeks, she said "He's fine!" and he was. Because of the way she attends to the kids and personalizes their care, she let's them be themselves. She doesn't tolerate bad behavior, but she acknowledges that kids are kids and express themselves differently. I don't know, something about the calm way she is in itself seems to generate a calming affect to the kids. And another thing is that there is so much love, compassion, and care among her with the kids, as well among the kids with each other. They care for one another as friends as much as she cares for them As parents, I know there is always a concern about home daycares as opposed to center daycares, and I have had positive experiences with both. Bottom line, I'd choose Karen's home daycare over any center daycare any day, hands down. Her house is clean, she has every possible toy available to them, as well as a large outdoor play area. She potty trains for heavens sake, and at no additional charge! All meals are included, and she accommodates for special dietary needs. She maintains her home as a nut-free zone if needed, and she incorporates the holidays of all the kids' cultures during the year in their projects and activities. Needless to say, we will be sad when my youngest goes to kindergarten, but I know that she will be both emotionally as well as academically prepared for it, just as her brother was.
