When I first joined the gym I loved the overall atmosphere and it being a woman's only gym and so I encouraged my mother to join as well as she was looking for a gym to join. They were also extremely rude to my mother and even charged her for three 1:1 classes with a personal trainer that she never even got to attend because it was at the bigging of covid and the gym had closed, she talked to them and they said they would not give her money back. During covid they even charged me for 6 months after speaking with them and having my account put on hold because I didn't want to be charged if they aren't even open. They are just there for the money. Its very unfortunate because I feel had it not been for the staff and money I would truly love this gym.

This brings the annual cost to $5040, more than most people make in a month. There is no discount if you commit to 6-12+ months like competing studios in Calgary offer. My feedback was dismissed, and there was no effort to show they cared about feedback from their members. Lagree claimed they sent an email notifying me of the price change, but I never received it. They just copy-pasted the email in their response, which didn't include the actual new amount. Lagree stated the price hike was to fund a new studio, which unfairly affects existing members. After raising my concerns, Lagree abruptly terminated my membership, refunded only this month's payment, and canceled all my pre-booked classes, including 5-6 additional paid classes. (Without refund) Their own staff urged me to email management because they don't listen to staff either, clearly indicating a very toxic workplace. This unprofessional response has disrupted my schedule and created a negative environment for both members and staff.

CC says the original price was a "mistake" and pointed out their weasel words buried somewhere in their website. Don't get suckered into paying more than the advertised price at CC! From online reviews this problem seems to have a bit of a pattern with them. If this happens to you get your money back and spend elsewhere. In the past year, that employee has since left and I have been disappointed every time now when I pick them up. I showed them pictures of how I wanted them cut (very simple, short everywhere including face and ears) yet I pick them up and they have beards and long ears. I'm sad it's come to this! I really did like them. The lady who helped me never smiled once and didn't even know which copy of the receipt was mine. I'm all for training new employees but at $175 for my two small dogs not even groomed as I asked... I'm left frustrated and disappointed.
