Instead, I was told they do not measure, and that if the mirror they bring doesn't fit (because of that), I would be charged a $225 trip fee on top of installation. This policy makes it impossible for a customer to feel confident moving forward, especially when the entire point of contacting a professional is to ensure proper measuring and fit. After I expressed my concerns, the company suddenly shifted to offering a "free estimate," which felt inconsistent with the original policy. I ultimately chose not to use their service because I needed a company that provides accurate on-site measurements and transparent pricing from the start. Clear communication and consistency would make this experience more helpful for future customers.

Victor called to follow up and coordinate an onsite estimate and offered to remove the existing broken glass. The next day Carlos came and conducted the estimate and promised to be back by 3:00PM the same day. He came back on time and started work immediately. He was extremely careful while removing the broken glass and installed the new tempered glass in less than an hour. He left the work area clean and the glass itself was spotless. They installed tempered glass that is guaranteed not to break even if I run into again. He even demonstrated by knocking on the glass hard and it held up. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Victor and Carlos from Glass Replacement Specialists. They are honest, very professional and do the absolute best work. They are also the most reasonably priced out there based on the the five quotes I received. It also helps that they're the only ones with 5 full stars with 28 (now 29 reviews).

After weeks of getting delays and…read moreexcuses from another local glass company for a custom piece of glass for my entry door, I finally decided to give Coe's Glass a call, and I'm so glad I did. From the very first call, Alex was incredibly responsive. Pedro came out to measure the very next day. The appointment took maybe 5-10 minutes, Pedro was extremely nice and professional, and he even gave me recommendations on what type of glass would work best while suggesting I stop by their shop if I wanted to see all of the different options in person. I went in about 30 minutes later, and Alex personally walked me through the different glass choices. By the end of that same day, he had texted me pricing for the different options, I made my selection, and the order was placed. The entire process was incredibly easy. Less than a week later, my glass was ready and installed! Pedro came back out, completed the installation quickly and professionally, and it looks fantastic. It matches the other glass in my doors perfectly and looks like it was always meant to be there. On top of the excellent service and turnaround time, the pricing was extremely reasonable. It's refreshing to work with a local business that communicates, follows through, respects your time, and does quality work. Coe's Glass has clearly been around for years for a reason. I honestly don't know why I would go anywhere else for glass work after this experience. Highly recommend Alex, Pedro, and the entire Coe's Glass team!

When my parents' patio sliding door glass was accidentally shattered by their gardener's hedge…read moretrimmer, I immediately started researching companies and reading reviews on Yelp and Google. That's when I found The Glass Guru of Torrance -- and I'm so glad I did! Corey returned my call within minutes after I left a message and even came out personally to inspect the job and provide an estimate. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, honest, and patient in explaining our options. He gave us two choices: 1. Replace the glass, install new rollers, and replace the 30-year-old screen. 2. Replace the entire sliding door unit with a brand-new frame, tracks, door, and screen. I also received estimates from larger well-known companies like Renewal by Andersen and The Home Depot, but their prices were significantly higher and lead times were 6-8 weeks out. After thinking it through, replacing glass in a 30-year-old door that barely rolled and had a broken lock no longer made sense, so I called Corey back and ordered the complete new sliding door unit. What really impressed me was Corey's attention to detail. He personally returned to double-check all measurements because I had read horror stories about improperly sealed doors and installations that required tearing out plaster around the frame. Corey assured me they could install everything cleanly and professionally -- and he absolutely delivered. He originally quoted about a two-week turnaround, but the team actually completed the installation even sooner. The finished result is beautiful! The new sliding door operates perfectly, looks amazing, and the entire area was left spotless when they finished. Corey and his team provided exceptional customer service, outstanding workmanship, fair pricing, and excellent communication throughout the entire process.
