Worse experience ever. It took me a while to get my license because I never really needed it. I was 19 so I could just study myself and take the test. I failed and had to come back. I came back when it was a busier day with younger students in the class. He was basically calling a kid dumb infront of everyone!!!! Because he only got two questions right. I finished pretty quickly and gave him my test. A few other kids went before me so he graded theirs first. THIS MAN GRADES THE WHOLE DAMN CLASSSES TEST BEFORE MINES!! I start to notice he's purposely waiting till the end but I was still being patient. He finally finished and looks at me ands like " ok give me your test"!!!???!!!!!!????? I was like sir please, I gave it to you an hour ago it should be at the bottom. I start laughing cause I really thought he was joking. He starts looking for two minutes and opening the folder with all the classes papers and says "Sorry I don't see anything here, please come back next week to retake the test"?!?!!!!! Mind you this is my second time coming back and now I'd have to pay to retake the test again!! I honestly started crying, lol I was so confused! Like whaaattt? He was trying to close without giving me my test ??!! so I go get my boyfriend and I have my dad on the phone. He immediatelyyyyy finds the test when we come back in and is like "hahah ok what day is good for you to do the drivers test" I took my paper and left. I wasted my money with these fools and had to pay another place to go take the knowledge and the drivers test. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!!!! We only had one or two classes here several years ago: we are from out of town and I wanted my daughter to have a class with some Seattle type driving. Moha quickly assessed that she didn't know the difference between a protected and an unprotected left turn. He was good at finding out what she needed to learn and had good explanations. I rode along and found it informative to get me to let my daughter demonstrate whether she knew skills without talking too much. Why the late review? Horrible school! If I could give it a zero I would. The instructors are very rude and unprofessional, all they care about is how to get money out of you. The building is very old, rusty and ceiling is covered in large yellow stains because the roof is leaking. I did my written test here. The instructor was clear, concise, but patient and helpful with directions. I passed on my first try. We set up a driver's exam for a week out. The instructor was on time, didn't have to wait for him. He was patient with me, and understanding that I was nervous, after I filled out the initial forms 3 times! He just repeated the instructions and showed me how to do them. once we got in the car he explained everything clearly to me and did the pre-test before beginning the actual test. He was patient and very professional. After the completion of the test he went over all the results with me for future reference. First Pass driver's School is a great choice. read more

In general, I like to support and promote local small businesses, so this is a set of recommendations. 1. Answer your phone. Or do not post a phone number. 2. Respond to voice mail. 3. Respond to email, or don't post an email contact. 4. Set up an online testing appointment schedule. That way, people don't have to stand in line before your limited hours begin on the weekends to put their name on a list. 5. Driving tests should include freeway driving. 6. If you are understaffed and therefore cannot conduct a complete driving test, including getting on and off the freeway and coming up to speed on a freeway, hire more staff and extend your hours. 7. My impression is that this business is run as possibly a second source of income for the owners (based on the hours, which are limited). Your students would benefit if you made this a full time business. read more

I swear EVERYBODY from high school went to this school for driver's ed considering this is as cheap as it gets. The price raised over the years & i assume it's because their business was blooming since this IS the cheapest place to take driver's ed. Let's face it, you don't really learn how to drive from a school, you learn how to drive when you are out on the roads on your own. Driving school is just there to go over safety procedures considering everyone is a teenager & is probably tempted to go wild behind the wheels so it's a no brainer to just go to a cheap driving school to get it over with to get your permit & license. The instructor is freaking hilarious with his super thick accent, i would just be sitting in class & try not to laugh every single time he speaks which is kind of a good thing since it's helping me stay awake. He's actually nice, whenever you are going for a drive & can't make it to his school to meet up, you can just give him a head notice where you would be at that time & he would actually come pick you up & let you drive from there. I don't know if it's true, but my friend said one time the instructor was hungry so he asked my friend to pull over to taco time to get some fish tacos & bought some food for her. The only thing is that the instructor often freaks out, he would always slam on his emergency brakes. One time i ran over a dead cat & he started intensively bitching at me for overkilling an animal even though it's already dead, such a funny guy! Overall, i think everyone should not invest money for an expensive driving school. This place gets you out FAST too if you're on good behavior & shows up compared to others where they only have class like once a week. read more

Wow I'm not even going to lie guys, First Pass Driving school is actually a great program to learn how to drive because they offer folders, pencils and paper for you to write in. Who can't argue with the price they're offering too? The instructor, Moha, is very funny too. He is highly motivated to get you on the road and have fun but also be a defensive driver. Even though Moha has a thick accent, he is very enthusiastic and entertaining while teaching. I remember in one lesson where Moha let the class put on goggles where your vision gets disorientated and you have to walk pass notebooks on the floor and if you hit it, you basically crashed into a car. When Moha put the goggles on, we were recording him and had the flash on and so instead of him taking the goggles off and yelling at the class, he went through with the goggles and the flashes at him, he just stood in the middle of the classroom and was covering his eyes with the flash on and was saying "stop us guys...turn it off...I can't see," the class just kept laughing out of our enjoyment. Moha has great enthusiasm when he teaches, he's a great individual and he wants you to be on the road but also be defensive, scanning for trouble so you can prevent that from happening. Overall, my experience with Moha was one of a kind. His class was great, majority of the people in class are my friends, everyone was high spirited about driving soon. Oh yeah, don't forget! No one can argue or beat Moha's class price for driving. It is very low and affordable if you have no problem with spending that. I do recommend you go to First Pass because it's affordable, instructor is very great with high energy, and the people in class are also great and meeting new people is always fun! read more

Do not go here if you didn't take their driver's ed course or a previous adult training course with them. You're at a disadvantage if you take the driver's test with them because the neighborhood they test you in has no sidewalks (for visibility when backing around the corner) and no lines in the middle of the road. Often times, they will subjectively mark you down because of the way you turn even though there are parked cars that can be hazards. Their parallel parking test is also a joke. It's a bunch of cones behind a dumpster in their parking lot. Not applicable to real-world parking/driving at all. Overall, pros would be that they have multiple cars that can be used for testing. Cons: Very biased against non-First-Pass students. Terrible routes used for testing. Cheap, but they want you to come back. Instructors are very cold and really just concerned with getting to the next test. It's cool that you can text them, but they take a while to respond and hours aren't very flexible. read more

This place is hella unorganized and will try to scam you. If I could I would rate this place a zero. We came here to pick up the knowledge test certificate because we had passed. Upon doing so, the worker couldn't find any of our records - given that we had paid for driving courses/ school. Telling us lies and "misplacing" our papers, he spent around 4 mins "looking" through stacks and asking another employee to see where the papers could be. This was supposed to be a five min stop turned into a 20 min stop because we had to retake the knowledge test because they had misplaced our previous test. If this place missed placed one test, what else could they misplace? read more

Yeah, it is the cheapest place around, everyone goes here, but one of the instructors is freaking rude and I hate it. His name is Mohamed Hassan, but goes by Moha. A friend of mine signed up for a drive and he kept trying to make other people sign up instead of letting her. And when she did get to drive, he refused to let her drive because she "wasn't ready" when she was more than ready and that's why she signed up. if she signed up, you can't just refuse to let her drive the day of the drive. That's a waste of time. He is so rude and biased and if he doesn't like you, he will fuck everything up for you. You know why? Because he's an asshole. read more

This school is very, very reasonably priced compared to the other driving schools in the area!! My son was 18 when he took this course, no driving experience whatsoever and even while taking this course had very limited access to practice driving maybe 3 times tops totaling about an hour in practice time. I think drivers under the age of 18 have to have a minimum of 50 hours practice and 10 hours at night. The instructor Moha is very knowledgeable and has a way about him that puts students at ease and gives them the confidence to drive well. The name of the school is just that First Pass, my son passed the written and then the actual driving test with a 92!!! Passing is 80!!! Great school and I highly recommend. So I decided to take my second drive test at First Pass Driving School because people I know have taken their driver's ed class here and they've said some great things. I was told that the instructors were very friendly, easygoing, and welcoming. Thus, I didn't feel as nervous going in to take my driver's test as compared to my first time at a different location. I submitted the necessary information about myself on their website in order to make an appointment, which I found quite useful. You also have the option to call or even text them to make an appointment, which was surprising to me because you usually don't have the option to actually text a business for something. After submitting my info and texting one of the instructors for an appointment, the day for my drive test had arrived and I was ready. When I got there, I was greeted by the owner of First Pass and he was very nice and welcoming. I paid the $50 for the test and filled out the necessary paperwork. They also have the option for customers to use their instruction vehicle for the testing for free, if you don't want to use your car or if you don't have one, which I thought was cool. Some other businesses make you pay extra for having to use their vehicle. I passed my test and was very happy. The instructor also gave me tips about what to improve on afterwards. I was extremely happy. I highly recommend First Pass! read more
