The representatives are always friendly, courteous, and don't waste time. That's why an attorney is appointed to the case, to AVOID the money being mishandled by anyone. AND, the client signed the check over to us. What is perplexing is I have done this a ton of times before with NO issues at all, and for larger sums of money (I generally just have to show the letters of authroity). Anyway, my office puts a LOT of money through this bank, with our own funds and the funds of our clients. Hope the bank is happy that they are losing a client over something so ridiculous. There's enough branches in the area that I can actually talk to a human if need be, and since it's part of the credit union co-op I'm never short on options for ATMs. I opened a checking and savings account. There's no minimum for checking, just $5 to open. You need a $200 minimum balance in savings but they give you a month to get to that level if you need, which I think is a nice thing since people might not bring that much cash with them the first day. I showed up early for my appointment and was seen immediately. Sara was kind and made light conversation while informing me about the other services offered and what to expect with my accounts. I will update if the app causes issues, but otherwise I'm very excited and happy with my banking choice.
