We have had a lot of unique situations, restraining orders etc.. Which meant lots of phone calls and documentation and lots of extra work for the staff. In the back and forth domestic situation, the one thing that remained was, we always always always felt that they were completely safe at Door to the Future. Ms. Jeanette and her amazing staff went above and way way beyond. The boys have learned so much there. They are not even three yet, They know their colors, their alphabet and their numbers!! They are so amazingly smart and have completely come out of their shell. **UPDATE** 2019 The twins are now 5 years old, they stayed at Door to the Future until they went to kindergarten. It broke our hearts for them to go out into the big world they were so safe and happy there. It's clear that they learned so much because at Door to the Future, they are FAR ahead of most of the kids in kindergarten. They are actually reading books already. I wish they could've stayed there forever in the safe cocoon of love and understanding at Door to the Future!

From the very first day, Ms. Maggie made both my child and me feel completely at ease. Her warmth, patience, and genuine care shine through in everything she does. I can see how much she loves what she does, and it reflects in how happy, confident, and excited my child is to go each day. The environment is nurturing, peaceful, and thoughtfully prepared, and I love that my child learned independence, kindness, and a love for learning at such a young age. I'm so grateful for Ms. Maggie and the incredible care we've received-it has truly been the best experience!

My son, came here at just as things were reopening after COVID and I had been looking for a steady place for him to learn and grow. He was cared for, challenged, and loved in his years there. (We just finished as he's now heading to Elementary school) Ms. Maggie has been the director there for decades and you can tell she knows what she's doing. She is loving and thoughtful with all of the kiddos. She goes above and beyond and does it in a really humble way. Ms. Marilyn and Ms. Stephanie were my son's primary teachers and he adored them. If you're not used to the Montessori system, you can ask Ms. Maggie about it and make sure it's a fit for you and your kiddo. I honestly wasn't sure at first, but my son thrived. Love this little tiny gem of a school. It will always hold a special place in our hearts .

I also love that they post pictures on the app so you can see what they're doing throughout the day.

My kids have attended FHPP for a couple of years and now that my almost 5 year old is about to head…read moreinto kindergarten I wanted to let others know that their children are in safe and caring hands at FHPP. I think that teachers make so much of the difference in a child's experience so I feel pretty fortunate that my sons have had Mrs. Dominic (4 year old room) and Mrs. Conway (3 year old room) during their time at FHPP. Both ladies are sweet and loving and seem to genuinely love teaching the littles. Mrs. Dominic has pulled me aside to show me pictures she took during class of my son playing nicely with other children (I previously expressed concerns about his social skills) and she even mentioned one other child in particular with a disposition similar to my son. I have since arranged wonderful private play dates with the other child and his mother! Mrs. Conway always welcomes my youngest with a big warm greeting and although he somewhat reluctantly enters class at each drop off, he enthusiastically reports back to me that Mrs. Conway is his "best friend"! And the office is managed by the nicest ladies around. Robin (director) and Melissa (assistant director) always greet me like a member of the family... sometimes (okay, often) I'm late, they are warm; many days I'm disheveled, they are welcoming; and on more than a few occasions I've needed a few minutes of adult interaction, they are willing to take 5 minutes to ask how I am. They take a true interest in my kids and my family. I feel fortunate to have found FHPP!

My son, who is 1 1/2 years old currently goes there for their newly opened infant room. I love it and so does he! As soon as we get there, he waltzes right in and starts playing, and get this, he doesn't even cry when I leave, rather, he cries when I come pick him up and take him home haha. The teachers who take care of the little ones in the infant room are so loving, and take the time to teach and play with the kids. Also, the director Robin is so amazing. Super kind and understanding! It is an all-around great program, and can't wait to have my son spend his next few years there!

There is so…read moremuch to like at this school, from the focused and kind leadership of the director, to the Reggio-inspired philosophy, to the diversity of staff and families (which our queer and mixed race family values). We feel like our kiddo has learned a lot about community and herself. There are some downsides, as there are everywhere. I don't love the location, right off a busy road, and there's been some teacher turnover, but the school feels really safe behind gates, with a lovely outdoor play area, and there's been a lot of continuity with other teachers. We're headed to TK soon and are really, really bummed to leave the BunnyBears family, but are so glad for the experience.

We chose this…read morepreschool because we wanted a focus on social emotional development, and a place that allows the kids to play and explore. This school is exactly that - they put so much effort into giving the kids freedom to figure out who they are and explore their interests, all while teaching them how to be good friends and kind little humans. This is not a traditionally structured preschool - you won't find worksheets or desks, but you will find a Reggio style environment that intentionally allows the kids to lead. No school is perfect, but it's clear the teachers are all trying their best to create a safe and open environment for the kids. Teacher Donna, Teacher Linnea, and all the other teachers, have had a huge impact on my son, and we can't thank them enough. We'll miss the sweet little BunnyBears community!
