Nick came in, looked at what we were proposing and said that he would have a bid to us in a couple of days. Being true to his word the couple of days and a bid materialized on my email. He came back out and we made a few changes which he resubmitted the bid in a couple of days. His proposal was acceptable. He told us that he needed to finish a job and would give us a call in a few weeks to set a date and time to start. Again true to his word this happened. On the contract that we signed with him he committed to be completed in two weeks. There were a few glitches that were run into which he took into stride and was actually done in 7 days. We had given him a can of paint that looked like the color on the walls but when he purchased the paint it ended up to be two shades darker. He then went back down, purchased additional paint and ended up painting the walls twice. The fireplace mantle he made for us thrilled both my wife and myself, matching exactly what we had pictured. I do plan on having him return to do another project we have planned.

Staci was amazing! My house sold in just a few days in large part due to her staging. There was a…read morereally big difference before and after. We used Ready to Sell to stage our home in southwest Portland. It was not a good experience. The…read morefurniture Staci used was very cheap and some of the furniture was musty smelling. I had to place air fresheners throughout the house to mask the smell of the couches she used on the main level of our home. We could have bought the furniture and given it to a charity after the sale of our home for less than what we paid her and I wish we had. Finally her interaction with us was very harsh. Her emphasis on paying within days of the invoice date indicates that her company is running on a thread. I do not recommend Ready to Sell. There are many other staging companies in Portland that will do a much better job for you.

Brie did a beautiful job of staging my house and I have zero doubt that the staging played a…read moresignificant role in the speed at which the house sold - I had two offers over asking within five days of the listing. While Brie gave me the opportunity to weigh in on the decor, I chose to leave the choices to her and she chose furnishing that fit the nature of the house and the demographics of the neighborhood. Brie and Marc installed the settings and then removed them in timely manners and left the house spotless after both visits. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

Paid for a deep clean as we have been remodeling . Many areas in the upstairs were left untouched…read moreand still very dusty. I provided feedback. They explained it was likely due to them not being familiar with the home. And also said the dust bunnies left under the middle of the dining room table were likely stuck to the chair legs. (But they were literally in the middle of the floor under the table). They did offer to come back and reclean a couple days later but that didn't work in my schedule so I just cleaned it myself. I sent photos of the missed areas to be clear about what was missed. I was told open feedback was welcome. They were supposed to come back and clean monthly. A couple days after I confirm scheduling for their next cleaning (yes I was willing to give it another chance) I get an email that they won't be returning as we aren't a fit. The complaint included that I was unable to get on the phone and talk to them (I'm on the phone all day with work so couldn't answer when they called so provided everything to them in text message). -and that they were frustrated I cleaned the areas myself rather than having them come back at an inconvenient time for me. I didn't ask for any of my money back from the deep clean and was willing to have them back to try regular cleaning. Go ahead and give them a try but when they miss areas be prepared that they will just cancel you rather than taking the feedback and improving. Very unprofessional.

I purchased a home late last May that needed lots of work before I would move in. Work started in…read moreearly June and Andrew was one of the first contractors on the job. I wanted to add hardwood in the family room and hall along with refinishing the existing wood floors in the living/dining room, kitchen and office. It is not possible to tell what flooring is new and what was added, he blended them so well and matched the species and size of the existing flooring. Andrew not only cooperated beautifully with the other contractors but dug right in and was finished on time with a lovely result. The timeline was short so challenging. I cannot recommend Arbor Hardwoods more heartily. Their pricing is fair and I definitely believe I got what I paid for and more.

We didn't expect quite so many people to show up, as our house is not that big, but the 5 of them got the place done in about 2 hours. (We did ask for 2 of the rooms to be left as is, so they did not access those spaces per our request) All of them were friendly, quick and professional. My only critique is that I'm not a fan of whatever they used to clean the stainless steel; it's a bit greasy and has a strong odor. That said, I'm very sensitive to smells so most people may not mind it. We will certainly give them a call again in the future and hope they can squeeze us in again!

Very,Very disappointed. I expected after having a lovely conversation with Laurie that my home…read morewould be thoroughly cleaned. When her team arrived the comments immediately started about being on their last job longer than planned and that they were tired at the end of their day Well...they were scheduled to clean my home for 4 hours. To clean only 1 bedroom 1 and 1/4 bath townhouse. I'm a neat person. But my home needed a good cleaning. Well it didn't get it. Vacuuming was half done in the Master bedroom, the baseboards weren't done. The bed was sloppily made, the window sill wasn't wiped off completely. The bathroom floor didn't get mopped (dog hair behind the towel basket &door ), around the toilet don't get wiped. Stairs did NOT get vacuumed they actually had a discussion about this! I actually watched the girl downstairs vacuum AROUND stuff...I just didn't know what to say. The kitchen was fine. When she mopped the kitchen/dining area she mopped AROUND stuff...like the dog bowl. When they left it was 4:44, I looked at my watch. They told Laurie s different time and I was billed as such. They quickly billed that false time and I had no choice but to pay it. Then they loaded their things up and proceeded to stand out front laughing it up while all three smoked on a smoking restricted property. I actually signed an agreement when I move in that I don't smoke and that my guests will not smoke. Laurie as an owner is a lovely warm hearted person. But this was a disaster and nothing was really done to make it right except a promise to me, as to never send that team to my house again. They were supposed to start coming for weekly cleanings, but the base clean didn't get done, so how do the weeklys start? I struggle with having another go at it. I think if you are going to hire this business even though you should NOT have to, do a walk thru. You should be able to trust someone you pay a few hundred dollars to, to do their work. Lesson learned. The hard way. I thought for sure I had found my housekeeper!
