That said, the owners would benefit from paying close attention to customer feedback. One major issue that makes this location less welcoming is the level of customer service. In particular, a staff member in the meat section (an uncle who wears glasses) has been consistently unfriendly and comes across as hostile toward customers. I'm not sure what the reason is, but interactions like this are a big reason I've chosen to return to Forum, another Asian supermarket in the area. Jmart truly excels in product selection but falls short in the customer service department. With better staff training and a stronger focus on customer experience, this store could easily become a standout. As it stands, I'll likely continue taking my business to places like Forum.

They do have the occasional sale but it's usually food close to or expired recently. The staff can be hit and miss. They do have a lot of cashiers. They have a minimum of $10. If you are not Asian though, some of the other patrons and cashiers do look and treat you unkindly. I had asked someone a question and she said I do not work here. I literally had asked if this was an expiration date as it wasn't in English. I would have helped someone if they are trying to read something. It's called common courtesy. Other times, I would be standing in the corner, and I would literally get pushed out of the way, when there is space behind me. I try to take up as little space as possible but yet they feel that I am not entitled to be there. I would say all the other stores on the block and area doesn't have this much of an issue (except the restaurants and I avoid those like the plague).
