We went there. They only have one sales woman on Sundays (or that was the case this time anyway (7-19-20), so it took quite a while to check out and was a little awkward standing in that quiet of an environment with strangers for that long. Maybe play a little soft music or something? It will help you feel less nervous too, nice sales woman/owner(?) Now for the good things though- they had actually quality things, not just cheap, dime-a-dozen, cliche things, but actual DECENT things to look at, many were of high quality artmanship. So yes, very impressed with the variety of Mac-A-Bee's. It was refreshing. You also carried cheaper, decently priced things for people just looking for souvenirs which I did appreciate, so thank you. One last thing to note is that Mac-A-Bee's is a roomy store, you won't feel crowded at all when browsing, and that was refreshing too. Tiny stores are awkward.

Also stuffed animals, a few cozy throws here and there. And $20 suncadia cups if you want a souvenirs! Or just get fresh squeezed orange juice and a latte. Same price range! Not cheap but it works if you are staying at the lodge and just want to come down for a drink or a snack. Without having to drive out of the entire property!

They have a cool selection of books, and a lot of gift type things like tea, stuffed animals, bookmarks, art supplies, etc. I noticed the dinner menu and decided a cheeseburger sounded good. I ordered the Basecamp cheeseburger with bacon and a side salad. You can apparently order food upstairs and then sit upstairs or downstairs (or outside, I think). They have table service as well, after 4pm. Service was very friendly and patient. I decided to eat downstairs, and there was a cozy bar and large seating area. My burger soon arrived and it was delicious! A great toasted bun and a wonderfully substantial and beefy patty. The cheese was rich and gooey. Great, yummy combination of flavors. The salad was good too, with a nice ranch dressing on the side. A cool place that made me feel welcome and served up a great burger.

I found myself planning most of it and the day-of I saw little of my planner when she should have been following me around and making sure things were being taken care of. Because there was such poor planning on her part, there was a lot that was left undone. Family was not gathered for photos, family had to make sure I was at the alter in time, etc. Even preserving my wedding bouquet was a loss. She told me just to hang it upside down. Overall I am very disappointed in the services and would have just hired someone else to plan my wedding if I knew it was going to be so stressful and a waste of money to hire this planner/florist since myself and my family did most of the work beyond the flower arrangements. Maybe if she would have been honest and admitted to her faults; given a refund for the issues, we would have been more understanding but she pretty much just cut off all communication after our day. The job was done but it was done very poorly.
