I opened a very small account here about 45 days ago at the insistence of a penny stock trading "friend". As soon as I realized the value of my account in less than a month, I pull him off. Yet, after that, he was 1) able to put in his check, which BOUNCED, 2) make further trades 3) throw my account into fraud. My account has been locked well over a week. Despite numerous constant contacts with the 800 numbers, I learn tonight that my account is being closed and liquidated. Just a couple of issues here......1) the consent was pulled from the other person on the 29 th of March. Ben in the Irmo office said they would scan it and it would be almost immediately. 2). The penny stock person was able to deposit a $50 no good fraudulent check in my account, as well as make trades later than the 29th. 3). I went to pick up a copy of the consent today from Cameron at the Irmo Office. He would not give the check it to me, but gave me the consent form. I told him I don't want account numbers, just a copy of the check showing NSF. He wouldn't do it. Bear in mine, I still can't access my own account yet. I have been working with Ben Neem at the 800 number. Everyone tells me they have to email the fraud department, the can't call. Great job to have when you can hide. Ay any rate, Ben has been very nice and has called me with updates as well as offered me FREE trades due to the inconvenience. Strange....he couldn't come to the phone tonight.....that's when I was told my account was being liquidated. When I asked for details...."Charles Schwab has the right to". Ok...details. He repeated the same "Charles has...I asked for someone above his pay grade that could do more that give me a pat answer. I will get one tomorrow. I have Accounts at Edward Jones, Wells Fargo, BB&T but you can bet there will never ever be one at Charles Schwab ever again. I just became the their best anti advertising ever. Guess there's a reason they charge per trade and penny stocks. Let the big boys handle the big stuff. At least they know what they are doing.

We've worked with Empire Property Management since 2008. Back then, we went through several…read moreunsatisfactory property managers until we found Empire. They are an excellent company and we have almost eight years experience with them and will continue as long as we have our rental property. They find tenants quickly and Tony is extremely responsive to them and us; he always addresses any issues and lets us weigh in on the larger items. We've had a few sets of tenants now and no major issues Tony can't resolve. In fact, the most concerning issue we had with a tenant who left before contract ended, Tony swiftly resolved with ease and the tenant paid the rent. He was on top of it - no drama. It's been great watching his business grow and I appreciate his ability to innovate and use online methods of management. Empire is very reliable - we've moved many times over the years, I've deployed, and moved overseas and all the while, Empire excellently manages our properties. This review is long overdue and I highly recommend Empire Property Management, and especially my military brethren looking for someone to manage a rental property. They are great!

Empire Property Management is highly professional and well run. Before working with them, we had…read moreanother company managing our properties. Switching to Empire Property Management was like switching from night to day. Before, we would have to call multiple times every month to find out where the rent payments were. After we switched, we never had to worry about it; payments came in like clockwork. When we decided to sell the property, we retained Empire Property Management to handle the sale. This was tricky because we live out of state (and were even working out of the country, at the time). But, our realtor, Charlotte Brown, worked tirelessly to bring in prospective buyers, contact companies to clean and repair the property, and handle the closing, despite our difficult situation. I wholeheartedly endorse this company for anyone with real estate needs.

Tonya D. Graves, Owner/Broker of South Market Real Estate Suite 2 A,…read more 1400 Laurel St., Columbia, SC 29201 was chosen by myself from my home in Arizona (without having ever met her before). I have no friends or family in SC, yet wanted to relocate there. I chose Tonya as my SC "Buyer Agent" by gut instinct alone. My gut was correct......Tonya is quite personable, non-pressure, and made herself quite available to help me view homes in the 3 days I allotted to find a home in SC, make an offer, and have it accepted before I flew back to Phoenix.... Actually, Tonya helped me to accomplish my mission in 3 days : ) I found a beautiful home in a neighborhood I could only dream about prior to this past week. I am "Under Contract" thanks to Tonya's great negotiating skills!...Sale pending on a home/community on Lake Carolina. Tonya always went above and beyond the call of duty. She is extremely hard-working, thorough, tech-savy in this modern world, and efficient. I trusted her completely! She even helped this out-of-towner by serving as my concierge by making dining/restaurant suggestions (try Blue Marlin in Columbia!), places of interest, shopping, and explained the roadways/freeways in the area. I highly recommend Tonya D. Graves (South Market Real Estate in Columbia/ Office: (803) 470-6001/ Text/ Cell: (803) 238-8612/ www.SouthMarketRE.com) for all your real estate needs! She is quite a talent in the real estate industry and works hard to deliver! Such a good-hearted person!!!!....Never a rush, always listened to my wants and needs, and had my interests at the forefront. Thank you Tonya, you're the best!
