The manager Ruatu was super nice and extremely helpful. She went over everything from fees to balance requirments. I was in and out in about 30 minutes and was extremely happy with my decision to go with Chase. I also spoke about opening a business account which I will be going soon to open. I was personally re-opening an account, depositing large cash amounts and then withdrawing large cash amounts [I'm a student trying to get her affairs in order]. They were able to help me print a debit card on spot when it was not arriving in the mail before my Hong Kong travel and provided me with tons of coin rolls in order for me to empty my piggy bank. As my fiancé and I set up a savings account they seemed genuinely interested in more than our finances, but also our story and we were made to feel very comfortable. They also made no assumptions and explained everything we'd have available to us, not suggesting anything before they knew what exactly we wanted. Honestly, only ended up here because Dollar Bank was closed but that now feels very fortuitous

One of my inquires was regarding a promo that I was unsuccessful at obtaining via their website. The banker seemed to not know how to apply it but told me he would contact their support team and get back to me. During this interaction I mentioned the mailing address twice. The banker also did not provide information on when the card would arrive. Days went by and the banker still hadn't followed up. I then reached out to customer support, and it took two phones on two separate days to get an answer regarding the promo. I was told it's resolved, though they were unable to provide a confirmation number for our call. I learned the relationship banker that I interacted with is the Branch Manager. Close to two weeks later the Branch Manager still hasn't followed up and my card was addressed to the incorrect address.

Finally the gentleman who was welcoming the customers at the door came behind the counter to help. The line moved a lot faster. The teller I got was very pleasant and very helpful. I like PNC bank over all this was not the best branch, But it was ok. I would try not to go to this one again unless I was in the area and had to. I would have to give them the benefit of the doubt and say they just had a busy day and could not handle the traffic all at once.

I love Mellons, I love ever part of the Mellons particularly the Mellon Center…read more So obviously I was going to love this amazing towering glass-and-steel building that is one of the many skyscrapers which dominates the glorious skyline of downtown Pittsburgh. Inside, the building looks brand spanking new and very spacious as you can imagine. In an added plot twist, there is an underground passage right beneath the building (just go down from the main lobby) where there are a series of lunchtime-centric restaurants including the amazing Istanbul Grille. If every skyscraper had such wonders beneath it, I would spend all my time beneath skyscrapers. But as it happens, I stick to being down underneath this Mellon. Parking in this area is tricky during busy times, but if you manage to find it nearby, come and check out Istanbul Grille below this amazing building. The best place to view the skyline is from way up on Grandview Drive at the incredible lookout points. And you may be spending all your time in Pittsburgh after reading my reviews, but be aware that "BNY"... Baltimore Needs You.
