First off, the entire staff at First Coast MD is phenomenal; they are all so kind and helpful. They are all willing to take the time to answer any and all questions you may have, take the time to hear your needs, and explain anything you do not understand. I have been getting the Lipo injections, which include B12, and have seen really good results. I have more energy from day to day which also helps my mood, I find that i have more of an appetite for healthy food and water, and I am loosing weight.( I will advise all to stick to a diet and exercise plan though. I know I would have lost so much more weight by now if I had been more strict with my diet.) This place has gone downhill. I'd been coming here on and off for a few years without a hitch. But here recently, service has not been the same. They make up rules as they go and the most of the females at the front desk are immature, rude and argumentative. They look like they're right out of high school or early college and don't have a clue about what customer service means. And don't be fooled by the positive reviews you see floating around. They offer freebies for positive reviews. There are tons of other places in Jax that offer the same services as First Coast that actually care about their patients. Save your hard-earned money. The office is very clean and nice decor. The office staff and medical assistants are helpful and friendly. I did not get the service I went in for. I am very upset about that, being a medical professional over 10 years, knowing my body and what works for me and being told something different was disheartening. It was also the cold bedside manner of the physician. I know most doctors can be arrogant assholes but every now and again it's nice to run across a genuinely sincere one. Without going into much detail, if you ask them a question in which they dont have an answer they would rather make you feel as though you are idiotic for wanting to know more about your body. I'm not even sure how medical assistants are even inclined to give medical suggestions/advice anyway!!! I literally asked one simple question and OMG all hell broke loose, it was literally never that deep. The doctor in the office advised that I should stop taking the program, keep in mind I am literally only one month in. I stated to the doctor that I've already paid for 3 months his response was you will get a refund adv the Medical Assistant at the counter and her response was I will have to pay full price instead of discount i originally paid due to not completing programs. I asked how/when I will receive a refund she goes on to state she doesn't know since owner is in and of the country and asks do I want it by mail or pick it up? I adv to give it to my significant other who also does the program and asked for a letter stating that I will get a refund due to the fact she doesn't know when I will receive it, so I won't have any trouble. LeAndria decides to take it upon herself to right my concerns (very personal issues btw) on this letter as well, which in all honesty is perfectly fine but what you're not going to do is lie on a written document. This Medical Assistant wrote the letter three different times all without stating factual informations and last time refused to sign it lol, which is perfectly since it's on your letter head...any person with legal sense would know that I didnt walk behind the counter and print it myself lol..so I'm not sure what she accomplished by triple working herself and not signing a sheet of paper I never asked her to sign lol... read more

Not happy with my experience here. I asked for a refund since my blood pressure measured somewhat high. I was told they couldn't refund the balance, so this cost me an additional $25.00 for nothing and I was asked to pick up the check a few weeks after requesting it. They certainly don't rush. I cleaned my car and think I threw my prescription away and the office would not write me another one or call me it in to my pharmacy. I was disappointed as I paid almost $300 for a 3 month plan with RX and was never told that. I have to wait 30 more days until I get a new RX written. Careful if you're thinking about buying a coupon of internet deal -- there is a lot of small print and you will be disappointed if you think you're getting anything beyond a basic shot. The personnel are nice enough, but not well skilled nor invested in your achieving weight loss. Regardless whether you had a good or bad week, there is no review of what went well or not, and what to change for better results. It's strictly your name called from down a hallway, a shot (maybe being weighed beforehand, that's iffy) and out the door you go. You will pay extra for the "dr" visit and prescription, but insurance won't cover it, so I have to question the legitimacy of that doctor's appointment. This is a buyer-beware situation. If you just want a B12 shot and a routine weigh-in to feel accountable, this might work. If you're looking for a coach or a professional to guide you through the journey to lose weight, go somewhere else. read more
