When we started our new daycare they were impressed at how many signs he had! I think it's important to mention that these are kids and things don't always go according to plan, but the entire staff handles the tough situations professionally and with compassion. We moved to a different side of town and it's the only reason we left. Otherwise no question my kiddo would have been there until school-age.

She was apart of the Pre-K program for 2 years because of her September birthday. She learned the 50 states, continents, famous paintings, math, phonics, basic science, handwriting, and so much more. The teachers are very loving. My second child is only 9 months and been there since 6 weeks. She absolutely loves Mrs. Yanti, one of the infant teachers. She is already participating in circle time and doing art work! The teachers do what ever they can to make sure both of us are comfortable. I would totally recommend this center to any of my friends in the area. FYI: I have been working at MGBLC for 5 years. I am stating this because I know the ends and outs and still would never put my children anywhere else. I have been attending college since I started working here and am not always at the center when my children are present but I have never had any concerns for their safety, education or the love they receive.

*** I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DAYCARE ***…read more (ZERO STARS) Ms. Paula (Prek-4 teacher) was by far the DRIEST most unenthusiastic preschool teacher I have ever met. Just there to collect a check. No energy, no personality, she would BARELY speak when dropping off in the morning. Always seem tired and overwhelmed. Complain a lot about not having enough help. NEVER had time to fill out the end of the day recap in my child's notebook (the notebook was pointless). I barely received photos of my child throughout the day, maybe (1-3 daily photos) and that's on a good day. (And it's no live video footage to watch your child). HUGE classroom volume compared to neighboring daycares. Regardless of "state ratio law" MANAGEMENT should know better! To many kids in one classroom (at this age) is NOT good for the child or teacher. An aid was eventually added but not sure if that helped. Nitika (the owner) was ok. Not great not terrible just ok. Henni (the director) was actually excellent with kids, they loved her. She was patient & communicated well, but ultimately everything goes through Nitika. Cost: $280 per week (4years old) I would NOT recommend this daycare to anyone in the Pearland area with young kids! Please seek elsewhere.

From day one, the management team was welcoming and supportive--everyone was so friendly, even the cook went out of their way to help me when I wasn't sure where to go on the first day. My son absolutely loved going to school here and really enjoyed his teachers, who made learning fun and engaging. The curriculum is excellent, and we saw how much he was growing every day. Unfortunately, we had to leave because our new home made the commute too long, but if we could have stayed, we definitely would have. We're so grateful for the positive start this school gave our son and highly recommend it to other families.

We had been *happy* a customer at this KA location for nearly 7 years, our son from 4-10 years, and…read moreour daughter 7 months to 5 years. Then this happened. Despite filling out the registration paperwork for their before/after school care class 2 months ago, we were just informed (2 weeks before school starts) that they don't have room on their morning bus for our daughter (even with our son freeing up a spot in their bus by moving on to Middle School). We need before school care. So, we're now forced to seek a new childcare location with only 2 weeks before school starts, and she looses all her friends, teachers she loves, etc. They provided no good explanations of why this happened, beyond "we have other families who have multiple kids on the bus" and "we prioritize people who are already in the program" -- which are both BS because our son JUST freed up a spot AND she has been there for almost 5 years, so they've had plenty of notice we would be needing before/after school care. So, they pushed us out, essentially because we only have one child there now, in favor of other people who had more. I'll add that they own and run a second bus in the afternoons that they don't run in the mornings because "staff are expensive" except they are one of the most expensive child care options in the area. All of that said, it *IS* a good school, and this situation was handled in a really really bad way.

The summer field trips are also fun! The teachers in every class are always engaged with the kids and never just standing around. During that time, we saw a high turnover of employees. My child frequently had scratches on her face because the teacher had too many toddlers in the class and was unable to provide proper attention. They also did not change my daughter's diaper properly, and I was informed that they were not allowed to wipe her from front to back. Additionally, they charged my 2-year-old $10.00 for a couple of slices of pizza from Little Caesars. Then, they had the audacity to withhold my tax form and not inform me that I had a balance due when I unenrolled my daughter. I spoke to the director, Amanda, but of course, she never called me back. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!

If it had not been for the cameras I would not have known the neglect my son would had received. I knew that it would be an adjustment due to him being home with granny for 20 months. I had no issue with him crying at drop off. But it was obvious the staff was not trained to aide a child in the transition from home to daycare. None of the teachers tried to soothe or calm my son down to stop crying. On the second day he came home with a diaper rash. On the third he was yanked, and plopped on the floor like a rag doll. I would not suggest this establishment to care for your toddler.

I sent my oldest daughter to try summer camp, and she had a good time with field trips twice per week, and a pretty generous list of daily activities to keep older kids busy and interested. Since the school is geared towards younger kids- it was great that they got them offsite quite a bit! Now I have a 1.5 year old there and we've been attending for a months now. I love all the daily pictures I receive and all of the activities she does on a daily basis. Constantly gluing, painting, coloring.. some kind of art. And gets fresh air on the playground or out of the room in the gym. I've even received video of outdoor dance parties with the toddlers! lol! My daughter actually enjoys going and we've had minimal issues. Her previous daycare she'd cry at drop off and couldn't get to the door fast enough at the end of the day. However at Goddard she's starting to blossom and is comfortable enough to walk right in! The staff across the first 3 rooms seem very caring, kind, and friendly. They wave and speak upon entering even though we're not in their classes (especially the infant room). Things seem organized and enjoyable for my daughter. I don't feel stressed about her well-being there. I can drop her off and feel she's being taken care of. I recommend.
