It fixed the tripping hazard. It was not expensive ($735) and he did a good job. One complaint we have is that when we added extensions to the side of the driveway 1 month later, the contractor noticed that the concrete slab rocked a bit when he drove his bobcat on it. When we drive our car on it, we haven't noticed it rocking. I am not sure if this will be a problem. Eric also recommended I apply polyurethane caulking to the gaps between the concrete slabs. To prevent water getting in in winter an freezing, cracking the concrete. He gave me directions on how to do it. It was a bit time consuming but turned out well. Overall, I am happy with Raise Rite Mudjacking.

Items like mouldings and baseboard are seriously overpriced at box hardware stores. It's worth the visit to Timbertown. We've also ordered Canadian oak hardwood here and were really impressed with the consistency and length of the boards. My dad has done a number of hardwood flooring installs and commented that this was the nicest wood he's laid. We've always found the customer service at Timbertown to be friendly and helpful. The store is well laid out and easy to browse and the staff really go out of their way to offer assistance.
