I ordered a few parts expecting 1-2 day shipping. When that didn't happen, I tried reaching customer service by phone, email, and chat to get a status update -- no response for a day and a half. I finally asked to cancel the order. Jessie responded with a snarky message confirming the cancellation. I was then charged a credit card processing fee, which isn't disclosed anywhere on their website for returns or cancellations. read more

absolutely the worst business I have ever dealt with. The guy Jesse that thinks he's running the show, is nothing but a smack talking keyboard warrior. There are so many other choices on the World Wide Web and for that matter in Kansas City Missouri to shop at. Do not believe these positive reviews they are all bogus. I have looked into it. They are either AI Generated or payed for. The worst part of all of this they claim to have all of these items in stock or readily available, which they do not 95% of what they show on their website has to be ordered from other vendors do your due diligence and buy from those other vendors directly, not from this A S S hat. *customer service-non-existent *professional-laughable"Jesse" ole Young Smoke *just an all around S H I T SHOW at this place. * the owner of this place, Mark Clark is an absolute idiot as well.....well Marky Mark..... take a look at some of your reviews big guy, it doesn't look like you deal with customers at all read more

TO BE AVOIDE!!!! I placed an order in December 2024 for almost $1,300 and, after more than 9 months and over 20 unanswered emails, I have still never received my order!!! This company shows a shocking lack of professionalism: the customer service ignores repeated requests (phone & mail) and even the CEO Mark Clark, copied on several emails, has done absolutely nothing. It is unacceptable for a business to treat its customers this way. DO NOT ORDER from First Choice Marine if you expect to be delivered or assisted! read more

This business did not have the complete set up I needed for my prop. When I asked to cancel the order, after trying for 2 days to get a person on the phone, not AI chat. Then they told me they will charge me a service charge for my order when I canceled before it was even filled or shipped. I would highly recommend finding anybody in the world to buy from before these clowns. Customer service is not their priority. read more

Wow. I'm guessing the only positive reviews are fake and from the owners. I ordered a part for a boat and five days later they still have not shipped it. I even paid for 2day shipping. I've only just now sent emails and called. If they don't respond by mid day tomorrow I'm cancelling and putting stop payments out. This is absurd allowing companies to operate like this. If you can't fulfill the order in a day or 2 consistently then you shouldn't be allowed online. And obviously they don't do anything consistently except market their stuff on 2 or 3 different apps. AVOID AT ALL COSTS AND SPREAD THE WORD! can't wait when fraud technology catches up to scumbags like this. read more

Do not trust them!!! I purchased an exhaust manifold that was defective. It had a hole in one of the exhaust tube. I had to send the boat to the mechanic, which took over 2 months. When I got the boat back, I called, talked to Jesse, he said he would send a return authorization for the part. He never did and ignored my calls after that. Do not trust these people!!! read more

The website description for the part I got was inadequate. When I got the part after figuring out, it wouldn't work it was returned in the same package with all the contents I had to pay for the shipping back. In addition, they charge me 10% for restocking and it took weeks to get a refund. I wouldn't recommend buying from these folks. read more

This company is horrible to deal with. There is no customer service, they won't answer your call, they won't call you back. I ordered four small parts for sailing - packing slip shows I ordered four, they shipped three but charged me for all four. No notes regarding back ordered parts, no response to phone calls, no nothing. I absolutely need all four parts so I guess I'm going to have to order the last piece from a more reputable company and pay for over night delivery. Lesson learned - stay away. read more

Customer Service goes a long way in our book and we feel we have experienced Superior Customer Service with First Choice Marine! We found the prices to be excellent, when researching a few items needed to get the boat ready for Spring splash. I'm obnoxiously thrifty and after loading up my online cart at 4 different retailers, item for item, First Choice was best price. Now, the customer service part: we did have to contact them several days after placing our order, as our order wasn't marked as shipped. Very quick, pleasant reply stating that 1 item was out of stock and order would ship when it was available. We asked that they ship the rest of order, which they obliged. Order was received 2 days later...In full! One item was black bottom paint and, unfortunately, the can lid had opened in the box, so we were greeted with a box full of paint, which, of course, ended up on our counters, floors, cabinets, hands, clothes, the cat and dog, etc... when we opened the box. Sigh. Emailed company to let them know and again, very prompt and pleasant reply, stating they would let us know when they could get a replacement out. Next day, they called (a nice touch over an email) to let us know a replacement would be sent out, with apologies and promises of better packing. So... Minus 1 star for forcing the customer to track down their order, rather than updating customer about shipping delay. No loss of stars for the spilled paint...crap happens and the flung black paint made our orange cat look like a tiger, which was cool for a second. But, full 4 stars for prices and superior customer service. If we hadn't received this level of service from Dan, this review would have gone in a different direction! We will definitely continue shopping with them and pass on their website info to the other river rats! read more

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible.. Avoid is possible. I found a great price on a fishfinder, as I was about to order it a chat window pops up. I ask what is in the box? cannot find this information, ok does it at least have a transducer? Yes I am assured. 7 days later and no shipping information, sent email asking when it will be shipped? Go back to website and pull up chat.. when will my order ship? "i'm finding out these are gone for good, that is unfortunate because we weren't notified of this. I will refund you immediately." SO I ask about the original chat and how they told me they had one left.. and why they are just now finding this out.. when/would they of given me a refund had I not asked? " the item is discontinued, I understand that but evidently you were given bad info as they show they've been out of stock for a bit." So I say.. I will share this experiance online so other consumers are not duped.. chat session ends... Stay away, stay away.. I got an email saying that the order was "voided" but nothing that says I was refunded.. Guess I have to call the credit card company next. read more

These people have no idea what customer service is. They are rude and will not respond to requests about your order status. I suggest you stay away from this company!! read more

Buyer BEWARE! First Choice Marine has no idea what customer service is about. It has been over 63 days since I placed my order for 3 simple gas springs. During this time, I have been told on multiple occasions "Your order will ship next week". I have also been told this is their "busiest time of the year" and that they have "so many larger orders to process". Bottom line... They have my money and I still don't have the 3 items I ordered. What can YOU learn from my mistake? DON'T GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY! They have no consideration for the customer and will tell you anything to get you off the phone. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I ordered parts on May 23, 2017. My credit card was billed on May 24, 2017. It is now July 16, 2017 and I have not received the parts. They have given me a different story each time I have called and even told me the website notified you at the time of ordering that the parts were on backorder. I informed her that was wrong and she herself then went online and saw that I was correct and she was wrong, the company has since fixed the website. I have asked to have cancel my order and refund me my money and she has informed that they can not cancel or refund my money at this time because they turned the issue over to the parts manufacturer. At the end of the day I feel bad for the young lady in customer service that has been helping me because she has been stuck in the middle. NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! read more

WARNING: I did get what I ordered, even if shipping amount was wrong, mailer mislabeled and shipped by the wrong carrier resulting in 8 day service instead of 2-3 days. However, if you have any problem which requires a refund or any other customer service related issue you are going to be out of luck. No matter which button you push when you call, you get the same unhelpful and rude person who will tell you that she can not approve a refund. In my case it was $3 that I was overcharged for shipping. I was told that the "manager" had to approve such a huge refund. In two different calls I was given different "manager" names...Valerie or Amanda. With the first call I was told "manager" would call me back to resolve when she returned to office. Week later, called FC again...of course the "manager" is not there and has no expected return date..."she spends a lot of time out of the office"...apparently on her yacht somewhere spending my money! When I pressed the "customer service" person about why she needed "manager's" approval for such a small refund she got really surly and told me that "this is an internet business and that's how it works...and hung up on me! If ever the phrase "caveat emptor" had meaning, First Choice Marine is the poster child. Maybe they are going for the world record in 1 ratings? read more

TERRIBLE! No customer service and they lied to me about shipping. I paid $24.62 extra for second day air and insurance. Nearly a week later I still don't have my antenna. After seven phone calls and an entire afternoon they have claimed to have sent 3 antennas - OVERNIGHT AIR and they don't know when I will get my antenna AND that it is not there fault so they don't know if I will be reimbursed or not for the expidited shipping I paid for. read more

This place has some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I placed an order for a gas shock which had a lead time of 5-7 weeks since they don't regularly stock it. No problem since I didn't really need it immediately and the price was right. 8 weeks pass and I never receive any updates so I send them an email asking when they might be arriving in stock. I get some generic response about them being a 5-7 week lead time. Ugh, hello?!? I already knew that and it's been 8 weeks by this point. I tried calling their office and nobody answers. Literally called for a few days straight at different times throughout the day, not once did anybody answer on any of the phone line extensions! They purposely are avoiding people's calls. I had to email them threatening a charge back on my credit card if they did't refund me which they did several days later. I don't mind having to wait several weeks for a product but if you can't communicate with your customers or at the very least answer the phone, then you don't deserve to be in business. read more

ordered a latch for a hatch on 4-23-15. Finally installed part THM-NRL-2-DP on or about the 1st week of May and first time I pulled it open the handle broke off the latch. on 5-8 I filled out the RMA form and received my first response 6 days later after emailing them to see why no response. Said they are waiting to hear from their distributor! ( take care or your customer then deal with your distributor))))... on 5-19 did the old hey remember me??/ here is the response (This is a warranty issue from the manufacturer. I've asked our distributor to give us an answer ASAP. I'm sure they will do a destroy in field. They may, however, want photos of those if you haven't sent one so they can make sure it doesn't happen again. I've sent them additional information just now and expect to hear back tomorrow and will let you know) well do they want photos??? sent them anyways... well here we are on 6-18 sent an email HEY remember me??? no response. I can't go lower than 1 star or I would have. Absolutely brutal. Placed an order in early June for a couple of routine parts. I was told they were backordered and would ship in 2 weeks which I agreed was okay. Late July I was told the parts were ready to ship but my credit card purchase authorization had expired and I called to re-authorize. Credit card was billed in full. Mid- August I was told they were on back order again. Early September I asked that the parts either be shipped immediately or the order cancelled. They again promised to ship. Mid November I was told the order had been cancelled but they didn't know by who and no credit had been issued. Now Christmas and still no credit has been issued and they are unresponsive. Looks like I have been ripped off by these guys. I should have just ordered the parts from my local dealer and I could have used them all summer and not lost my money... read more

Bottom Line: Should be called "Last Choice Marine". I paid for parts using PayPal. Did not get parts or hear anything for 2 weeks. Emailed, called, got lots of decent lip service, but that's about all. Filed a "Dispute" with PayPal and finally got some parts. The whole process took over 3 weeks to get anything. Recieved 2 out of 3 parts. Started the escalation from "Dispute" to "Claim". Oh, Boy, Got some action. Recieved very a nice email stating, "We can't refund your money to Pay Pal when a dispute is active." So I belived them. Changed status to "Resolved". Have not heard a word, so I'm done with them. If you use PayPal, File a Dispute. Then if not satisfied with the service, escalate to "Claim". Don't let them sweet talk you into removing it. Watch out for this outfit. Not rated by the BBB. This is a very poorly run "drop ship" business. Probably being run out of some basement. read more

USE ANYONE BUT THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ordered 6 fishing rod holders that the website said was in stock. After a couple days they emailed me saying they were out of stock and having to come from the manufacturer, and was 10 days out. I emailed them back 11 days later asking where we were on the order. I did not receive a reply. A few days later I emailed the customer service asking what was up with the order. I received a rude email a couple days later saying the 10 days out is an approximate amount of time. I asked for a refund but have yet to see it. I will not ever use these people again, nor will I ever refer anyone to this site. read more

Poor customer service. I placed an order, turns out they could not fill completely. After contacting them, finding out the item is no longer available I asked for a partial fill and to remove the item they do not have. Canceled part of my order without telling me. When asked about it they said I never ordered it. Then When I show them I receipt, they say I canceled that part of the order. Then I was told that someone contacted me and told me they couldn't ship what was ordered and to re-order. When I went to re-order, they wouldn't pay for free shipping (my original order was shipped free). The whole process was drawn out over 2 days. This place lost a customer over this. I ordered the parts from a different place and got them in 2 days. read more

Don't buy here period. They tend to drop ship from a distributor. Received a defected part . Figured good customer service response would be , ship back for a replacement or refund. Basically a hassle free return is what I expected. Now I'm on hold because they need to contact the distributor. 2 weeks to get a rma number then they give you a deadline to send it back. To bad Amazon doesn't sell Volvo parts. I'm done with this place. Nothing but a hassle with this place. Stay away. read more

I'm not real sure how the customer service could be worse. Terrible to deal with and nasty to try to talk with on the phone. I had a defective part I wanted to return, but would rather eat the cost than have to deal with them. read more

Avoid this website, and company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did a very simple online purchase on 28th of month with USPS priority mail shipping(2-3 days anywhere is USA) after 10 days from ordering and not receiving parts, I was forced to call and inquire, very unprofessional reaction and I requested a manager, the manager had many excuses but ultimately advised a expedited shipping would occur to resolve the issue, 8 day later, still no parts! I then emailed the manager and advised of my status, they then blamed Fed Ex and a outer warehouse location(How would a consumer know these things?), unbelievable, in my email I requested the manager have there superior call me, the manager immediately called me and created a very unreal/unprofessional phone conversation, attacking myself. Again note, manager was advised to have a superior contact myself(makes me think this is a internal family member business) The manager advised myself that they were going to then contact USPS and cancel me order that was 3 weeks delayed, very professional. There are many online marine stores around, this is not one of them, avoid at all costs!!!! read more

Went with FCM for some Atwood stainless pedestal seat post for salt water use, Ordered primarily because their price was a little better than my local guys. I finally got my items after 7 weeks but I truly believe It would have been even worse if I hadn't hammered them with emails. Even though the two employees I dealt with seemed to be trying to help I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being jerked around. I checked directly with Atwood and found that the item FCM claimed was a "custom order"was actually in stock at Atwood for immediate shipment. read more

Still in the middle of my experience with First Choice Marine. I submitted an order from their site and used the trusty Google wallet to checkout on 2/20. Today is 3/7, and I haven't seen the carpet so I called First Choice Marine's customer service line. The agent, very professionally, informed me that I would need to pay another $150 for shipping due to the size and weight of the item, regardless of the fact that they had processed the payment with $0 shipping charge listed on the itemized receipt and had already paid in full for all charges associated with the purchase. He wasn't empowered to do the right thing ans ship my order, so we're 2 weeks later and I don't have my ordered items, nor did I get any contact from them until I reached out to them. He told me a manager would call me back. 10 minutes later they cancelled my order. Be very careful, the way they've done business with me on this transaction is that it's my fault their website has a flaw, they won't proactively communicate that it's my fault, and they tried to keep my money. They lack all integrity. read more
