I know this is a bit long but, trust me. It's my personal experience with this store. And you will understand my frustration.
I walked into the store with hair to my waist, and I wanted to cut it all off.
It was in the middle of summer, and I wanted a specific style. Which was very short.
I waited for a specific hairdresser because, I assumed that because she had something similar, that she would understand better what it was that I was after.
I waited an hour, and that is on me because, as I said, it was my choice to do so.
The process was her asking me if I was "sure" of what I wanted.
I came armed with photos, of the exact haircut, with all angled shots.
I knew what I wanted, and I know that although it would be a shock to some, I knew it was not that hard of a style to pull off.
She said that she would "start" with a certain length, and work from there... however, that "certain length" didn't change.
I wanted a very short, pixie undercut style.
What I walked out with was a single length undercut BOB. And even that was "single length", not layered, as I had wanted.
I asked about it, and she proceeded to inform me that she didn't want to go shorter, because it would not look "feminine" . I did not go there and say, I would like a feminine style, I told and showed them exactly what I wanted.
Had there been more time, had I not had to get home to my other daughter (as one was with me for this experience), then I would have argued. I was unhappy, to say the least, with the cut.
To get even a remote closeness to what I wanted in terms of style, I had to wear 10 bobby pins to hold the length in place for my child's graduation, and I was stressed out enough, so I did not complain. That day, was the day before her grad, and it was more important I be there, than getting upset with this hairdo.
This was in June, it is now December, and I am still upset by this.
Another thing is, I am disabled, so my mobility is extremely difficult but, the graduation was important to me, and I wanted to look as nice as I could, and that meant, sacrificing my hair.
I would have done anything for my daughter, and she thought I would look nice with short hair, and I did too... until I left the store. Hell, even before leaving the store.
And before anyone tells me that I should have said something, I DID.
And as I have already said, was told that the hairdresser didn't feel it would be feminine.
this is a photo of what I basically wanted https://i.pinimg.com/736x/59/17/1e/59171e62692671f079238c91877fb06b--short-pixie-pixie-cuts.jpg maybe a tad shorter... I ended up leaving with a bob/bowl cut, with my bangs past my cheekbones. And the undercut was a level 3, at best. I wanted a 1! (anyone with clipper knowledge should understand the reference.).
Anyway, I would NOT suggest this place.
