Terrible experience! Went here for the first time ever last weekend as my hairdresser has moved out…read moreof town and i live in the next town along so it was convenient and well priced. Went in and was shown straight to sink for my hair to be washed. No consultation on my hair, no seeing what kind of hair i had when dry and styled my way, nothing, especially disappointing considering i was a first time client. I should have left then as my first thought was that this wasn't right. Chatted to the stylist, even showed her a lot of pictures. Expressed how nervous i was due to having had bad experiences elsewhere before before findng my stylist that moved. Was told i couldn't have the style i wanted as my hair was' layered and it needed not to be. I accepted this. Told her i wanted to keep my length, wanted the weight taken out and more of a dramatic side bang look. Stylist indicated where my hair was on my back (little less than halfway down) and where she would take it to, which was fine. Before i knew it she had given me a short bob, just resting on my shoulders. I was (and still am) devastated. I was holding back the tears when she dried and just wanted to get out of there - because at the end of the day when someone cuts off your hair and its too short - what can be done?! During the cut when i asked the stylist about options for perhaps curling my hair at the end as i wasn't super confident doing this myself and with it looking good. She simply told me some people do it with straighteners and that wad the end of the conversation. That was it. I DID actually want it to be finished that way but her knowledge and attitude made me decide not to take it further. All in the appointment lasted around 25 minutes. Too short in my opinion. Got home and burst into tears, i was very very upset. Hair i had been growing for months and months gone! I still am very upset and have worn my hair up since. I hate it. Besides the fact that its miles off what i asked her to do, the cut is not good. Random blunt cut pieces. Wish i had never gone to this salon and will certainly not be going back and will be warning off anyone who mentions it to me. (Review is showing as 1 star as i had to give it something to allow review to publish.) **Edited to say I have since had a conversation with someone else who went there a few months ago and also reported a pretty bad experience with a unsatisfactory cut..
