The staff have always been friendly and courteous the times I have visited; had no problem with booking or changing appointments, especially with the booking abilities off the website now. My granddaughter had blisters on her head after an extended time under the dryer and heavy bleaching and she left with pink and purple hair not the pink and blue she paid heavily for. Such a bad experience for a young girl and no apology .My granddaughter has had a hair bleaching many times and never had an experience like this one. Do not let Norah near your hair if your need a colouring! The hair cut by another stylist is fantastic Kathy and she even came to help Norah with cream on her forehead when she was in pain. She is the only reason for the the extra star. Bad business practice. So hard to see her after the colouring and feel how disappointed and hurt she was.

There product seems like it is called 'Oribe' so they have the gold lust repair and restore shampoo and the gold lust repair and restore conditioner! I used the samples that they gave and I wish Iwould have taken more because not only did it smell really good but it also worked really well on my hair and made it feel so soft! I can't wait to go buy actual bottles of this stuff from there! I walked in to Chatters on 130th ave and asked for my roots be done: my hair was platinum blond and very white because of the purple mousse I use. I showed pictures of my platinum blonde hair and spoke of loving the "white" colour of my hair. When she began putting in tin foil I tried to have a conversation about how my regular hair dresser does my hair but she told me "not to worry (she) had been doing this for 20 years." It took 2 hours and my hair was totally old lady grey!! I told her it was incorrect and her reply was " but you told me "white"." I certainly know how to ask a brand new hair dresser the colour I love. I said "this is not white this is grey"...she kept blaming me for telling her I wanted "white" ...and I said this is not "white" this is clearly grey - I wanted platinum blonde hair". She eventually washed something out and scrubbed something in (another 30 mins) and when I looked again it was YELLOW blond. There was not time for her to cut and style and I was trying not to cry and so didn't argue with her again. She charged me $170.00! I was late for the vulnerable event, felt ugly and now I will spend the holidays with hair that I hate.

I'm no hairdresser and I know you should be wearing gloves to be touching bleach and that bleaching the roots is something that lifts fast because it's closer to the scalp(she didn't even put on a timer or look at the clock. I went in to get a shadow root on my platinum blonde hair and left absolutely devastated. I had…read moremaybe 2 centimetres of visible roots on my head and my stylist put a BLACK dye on my roots and dragged it out about halfway down my hair. It's not blended at all and it just looks like I have extremely grown out roots. She also refused to give me bangs, which I don't understand like it's my hair. I have no idea how I'm going to fix this as I absolutely love my platinum blonde and I don't know if I'll be able to get it back after this mishap. I also feel I was over charged as this whole thing cost 220$. I got in the car and cried all night. I've never had such a bad experience. I'm calling today to let them know I'm really unhappy. But I don't know if there's anything they can do. I would not recommend this place, it's just not worth the risk. I've posted what I wanted and what I ended up with below.
