Hi there, I've been to the salon 3 times this year, and will…read morenot be returning. The cuts are good, but the staff wound up being very petty. The first two visits were with Cassie, who is their junior stylist. Sweet girl, good stylist, room to grow :) I had my third appointment scheduled with Cassie for Sat April 21st at 10 am. Due to a scheduling conflict (I was climbing the bow building downtown for charity), I had to reschedule to 1 pm. As she wasn't available, I said I would be happy to take an appointment with whomever was available. Cassie promptly called to say she had a 3:15 available, which just didn't work with the rest of my days schedule. Thought that was perfectly acceptable. When I came in at 1, I brightly smiled at Cassie and said hello. The response was abrupt, and she wouldn't look at me. The stylist that did my hair Chrissy, snapped at me while I was trying to explain what I wanted done. She continued to speak highly of Cassie while being a tad unpleasant throughout the appointment. Wow. All over a rescheduled appointment. I was going to go back to Cassie for further appointments as I thought well of her personally and professionally, but feel that your salon doesn't deserve my $60 every 4-6 weeks. Best of luck.

My hairdresser Cassie, was so nice to me and told me everything she was doing to fix my hair to make sure I was comfortable with it. She was so nice and it was definitely a breath of fresh air to go to such a nice salon where they care about you hair and it's needs.

And so are the stylists. Hair 2000 is a great salon to go to if you want a modern, funky hair cut. The stylists really know their fashions and are willing to give you whatever hair cut you want. They also do waxing, facials, hand and foot care and many other services. The prices for the wax are pretty high, but that's because they use high quality wax and cloth. The beauticians are all highly certified and trained professionals, so you shouldn't feel weird if you're getting your bikini or face waxed. Trust me, they've seen it all! I like that when you enter Hair 2000 someone immediately greets you and offers you a beverage; coffee, tea or water. I've never been a fan of drinking while getting my hair cut though. It seems like I'd end up drinking a bunch of my own hair. No thanks. If you've got the cash and want the style, Hair 2000 is a great salon to go to. If you don't want to spend all that much on your hair or body, I'd probably suggest something a little less fancy and a little cheaper.

The hairdresser showed me pictures of a similar perm. he said he would use larger rollers. he left it on 15 minutes and then said it was done. I questioned him, worried it was not curled enough. I could not see much curl. I said make sure we can't do this again! I had to trust his skills. sure enough it was not curly. All I got was a $120.00 hair cut. You would never know I had a perm. We walked in with no prior appointment, call or booking, And I'll be honest, my skepticism was seriously cooking, But within 2 minutes my man was seated in a chair, With a drape over his body and a towel in his hair. I watched from the sidelines as the stylist did her thang, She was as professional as they come and coulda joined the 'Hairspray' Gang, Her laugh was contagious and her speed was insane, In less than 5 minutes flat, my man had a new mane. We've been here 7 minutes and the job is done, The hair cut's all finished, it's time to go have fun. The price for this professionalism: $17 dollars, that's all, I normally pay close to $80, who's the fool? Your call.
