I drove my 2002 Ford Excursion 7.3L in because of an intermittent drivability problem. Five hours later they call me back and even picked me up took me to the dealership. I get there and find out that they looked into the problem, but the vehicle now barely ran and would die every time I put it in gear. I had to call a tow truck to pick me and my truck up and take me home. Horrible service and they just left me stranded. I hate these people. read more

I purchased from a dealer in my home area. As I was traveling through on interstate 80 my f-350 lost it's transmission due to a very weird circumstance. First Choice Ford treated me better than the dealership I purchased from. I was stuck there for more than three weeks waiting for parts to be delivered to them. I believe they felt more sorry for me than I did for myself. They did everything they could to make me feel at home in a strange place. They suggested places to go and things to do and a car to do it in while they dealt with my nightmare for me. I was relocating from the Seattle area to Dallas when my Ford F350 decided to blow the transmission (while towing my travel trailer) in Rock Springs, WY. I was able to limp the truck into the dealership late on a Thursday afternoon. The techs had already left for the day so Shelly (Service Advisor) told me it would be Friday before they had a chance to diagnose the issue. First thing Friday morning Shelly called me to deliver the bad news. I needed a new transmission. They got one ordered that day and got it onsite by the following Tuesday. By Thursday morning they had me back on the road to TX. These guys were amazing. They prioritized my truck when I told them that I was supposed to be in Dallas to report for my new job. We spoke every day to keep me updated on the timelines. If there was a place to break down, Rock Springs WY was it. I bought a used Dodge Ram 2500 back in December.  I flew from out of state to buy it. The ad said everything worked,  air conditioning included. At the time of sale I checked all systems. The AC blew cold (due to it being 11 degrees outside). Once I got home it was apparent the AC was not blowing cold. My local diesel shop did an inspection and found the compressor had been unplugged.  After many back and forth emails the final answer from the sales representative was "    They have not given me answer besides it is a 170,000 mile rig". I ended up fixing it myself for 1600$. Dont waste your time with this dealership.  It is evident that they dont inspect their vehicles. Stick to Craigslist. read more

Ford did warranty work and then ended up charging $600 for the work they done that was suppose to have been covered with this warranty we bought, which was bad enough, but told my wife they would give his vehicle a full detail on it which they did a half a-s one on it and while they were doing this they broke the nob that which switches threw the four wheel drive settings and then just set it back in the hole for it which was tight enough to hold it in place if you didn't try turning it, then when she went in and told them they said she had no proof and said it would be another $100, this is the last time I'll buy anything for the ford dealership here in Rock Springs, Wyoming there service sucks and so does the warranty they always try to charge you for everything even if it's under warranty, my suggestion is to go to another ford dealership if you want to be treated fair the way a real ford store does it. read more

Stopped in to have a service tech diagnose a problem with our 2015 F150 on a Friday afternoon. We were informed by a woman at the service counter that she would not pull a tech away from another job. Not to nicely. The best she could do was for us to leave it and maybe they could slip it in the next week. Other wise the next available appointment was July 12th. Over 2 weeks away. We were traveling through & we had our 3 dogs with us! Needless to say this was not going to work. We then went to Rocky Mountain Power Sports they had us diagnosed & fixed within 2 hours. read more

Driving through Wyoming is not typically when you want to find out that your mechanic from your hometown didnt do what he said he would do (what I paid for him to do) ... but that is what happened to me. His lack of decency turned into a bad head for our harley truck and us stuck in Rock Springs. The GOOD NEWS is that the folks at First Choice Ford treated us like FAMILY. Travis at the service desk is a true blessing. Chris the actual mechanic, was frank and honest - neither were interested in charging us a bunch of unnecessary charges. Joe, sales manager, got us in a brand new truck with our crazy credit scores and in about 30 minutes we will be on our way home. In a brand new truck. At 1.9%. With a full tank of gas. I had visited other dealerships , having determined what new car would suit my needs. I was disappointed that dealerships in my immediate area had failed to work with me IMO, and so I searched the internet. After finding a dealership, some 3hr away, and browsing their inventory , I inquired online. Salesperson Alex promptly phoned me, and emailed back some that had rebates and were really good deals. Do not buy from this dealership, they do NOT take care of there customers after the purchase of a vehicle. I bought a 2013 F-150 from them, 2 hours off the lot a check engine light came on and it took them 2 months to fix it. I've had the truck for 3 months and when a winter storm came through and I needed 4 wheel drive the most, no 4 wheel drive. And when I called to get it fixed they ignore me time after time. I would just like to suggest using much caution if considering purchasing a vehicle from First Choice Ford. We purchased a F-150 from them for $33k and almost a year later did our first oil change personally. Surprised to find the the undercarriage was extremely rusted. (Not your average wear and tear) Since it was an "AS IS" purchase we purchased additional warranty. We took it to our now local Ford dealership. The mechanic there informed us that this truck was so bad that it was extremely unsafe that we've been driving it, and it could not be worked on as it would just literally crumble. So essentially, it was totaled. When trying to use the warranty, they stated from their inspector the exact same thing, they wouldn't cover something that was considered totaled. Insurance wouldn't cover it as it was not in an accident. So then the last place to call was First Choice Ford. We knew that it went through a safety inspection and asked how this truck could have possibly passed? It was wrong that they sold us a totaled truck. From the very beginning they were very rude, and said that the only thing in the safety inspection was the brakes. There is NO way they just missed this! They told us that it must of happened since we owned it, which if you saw it, is clearly not possible. When we asked what about their integrity, the manager laughed and actually said, "what you guys liberals." We are a one income family with me staying home with our three kids now without a vehicle, and a truck with a 27K loan that's basically worth nothing. So it's our loss and we'll learn for the future, just think that this is something that should be known about them and that hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

I brought my truck in because I noticed an oil leak. I had just had a new engine installed, at another dealer, and there were mistakes made on the install. I spoke with the service manager and was handled with professional courtesy. They repaired my truck and got me back on the road. First off I love Joe and Derrick in the sales department. They have always kept their word and done everything they could do to get me exactly what I wanted. I would give their department a five. They are amazing! On the other note Service I would give a one. The service department is horrible. They keep your vehicle for long periods of time and do not fix the issue. They also charge you to check your check engine light when your truck is under warranty (even auto zone will not charge you and I didn't spend $50K with them). I have had my vehicle in for several matters and only one has gotten fixed. They take forever just to tell you there is nothing they can do. Not only am I disappointed but have take videos of the issue to them and was told that is a horrible noise only with nothing done. Its sad that I have to drive an hour to get there and get treated like this but they are the closest ford dealer to me. read more

HORRIBLE! I would absolutely not recommend this dealership, or any that are connected with it, like the Nissan store and Great west auto. Angela completely lied and falsely advertised most of there used vehicles. I drove 800 miles to find out the vehicle I went to look at had 11,000 more miles than they advertised on all 3 of there websites including auto trader. Come to find out the vehicle was severely wrecked and not fixed properly. These dealers are buying wrecked cars and trying to repair them cheap and not disclosing it. After looking at all of the used cars there it's clear that 90% should be salvage titles. I contacted the dealer board and there is an ongoing investigation with them because of numerous complaints. The sales manager when confronted with this hid in his office and had nothing to say, not to mention he did not even look old enough to drive let alone manage a store. read more

First Choice does not care about customers or take care of them in my experience. I'd recommend you try Whisler if you are in Rock Springs.

Work was not completed as requested even though the cost doubled from the initial quote. The parts requested to be used were replaced with the cheaper motocraft parts. When the customer requested an explanation of the charges by the service department the customer was derided for asking the question. When all the subpar parts began failing a week later the customer called the service department again and was told to go to another dealer. They are the only dealership within 100 miles. It is my experience that when a business has a corporate culture of blaming their customer's attitude for their poor service and high prices then they have something to hide. The business is right on one point the customer will not buy or do business with any of their local dealerships ever again. read more

We should have known not to do business with them when we couldn't even get them to call us back on a truck we were excited about. We went ahead and bought the truck anyway only to find out two months later, after thousands of dollars spent working on it, that is has a blown head gasket. My co-worker took his company-owned F-150 here for a well-known brake issue. Because we live 100 miles from Rock Springs and are required to go to a dealer for warranty issues, it was an all-day event for him. When he got back that night, his brakes were in the exact same condition as before. He had to jump through hoops to get approval to have our local mechanic fix the issue, which took all of an hour and was done right. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! We went in to first choice ford to trade our vehicle off that we had gotten 10 months earlier at the same place!!! We had noticed a few problems with our "new vehicle" such as squeaking and grinding. We took it in and they started accusing us of taking our truck off road and jumping it. Mind you that we were very careful with what we did and the damage that was done was PRIOR to us purchasing the vehicle. Claiming they had gone back into the CSI report that nothing had happened before they sold us it, when we asked to see it they REFUSED to show us the report so how are we to know that what they were telling us was true?. The mechanics were clueless idiots who had no idea what they were talking about! This is not the first time they have sold us a lemon vehicle. First Choice Ford is a horrible, horrible dealership, the WORST I have ever been to and I would not recommend anyone to take their vehicles or purchase a vehicle here. read more

First off I was told my turbo was fine and it was just the intercooler that was blown apart so I said fix it, I knew they weren't going to warranty that, then got a call back so oh the turbo is blown also which i told them right when I brought it in. And you don't need to run the truck to tell the turbo is blown, and where the hell would the chunks of metal come from that were in the intercooler, its not rocket science, but maybe at that dealership it is. Secondly I never talked to a female about my truck they answered the phone and I asked to talk to the service manager everytime, I know they didn't know what was going on with my truck, so that is a complete lie. And lastly I never tried to avoid paying my bill I knew I had to pay that since I told them to fix the intercooler and yes I was mad about the incompetence but never said I wasn't going to pay it. I even gave him my credit card before I even said a word. So get your facts straight before you comment on this. read more
