If could rate them a zero I would. If you ever have technical issues online, you'll have better luck figuring it out yourself. I have never had so many issues with a bank getting paid for a car payment. No one ever called me back to resolve my issue. They charge a $15 service fee to process a payment when their online services aren't working, and will not work with you to waive it. No follow through with IT. This place is a joke. read more

Very Disappointed, I have had an account here for years( since 2009) and want to open up another account they run a credit report on your credit and its a hard hit. Ridiculous.... Then today they wanted to hold my deposit for 7 working days, because the check is from an attorney's office they do not know. I have plenty of funds in the account to cover the check. I asked for the check back. The teller responded yelling and condescending "YOU HAVE A NICE DAY!" The funny thing is that I could barely hear her until then. Needless to say I am looking for a new bank and will close all my accounts in the near future. read more

A few months ago I financed a car with this credit union I've had nothing but problems with them since then. When I make a payment they put the money wherever they want despite having clear instructions that it is a car payment. I have to speak with several different people to get it corrected EVERY SINGLE TIME. There's no way I would do business with them again and I'm actively looking to move my account elsewhere. This bank is the worst you have to call then to pay your bills or they won't allow it it is ridiculous I would not refer this bank to any one. These people...nice enough, but the banking is awful. I've been with them 3 years too long. I've had issues since the beginning, not enough to switch banks, but always enough to want to. UNTIL, my debit card got stolen and $800 got ran up on it and because it was my son (38 year old son) and he knew the pin. Even though he absolutely STOLE it, with a police report with pictures of him at ATM's stealing my money ... they will not reimburse that $800. They even made government agencies scratch their heads at the insane transactions that were made. Never EVER use this credit union.. especially if you live in Lubbock.. it's the most untrustworthy and inconvenient Union I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with.. if you finance your car here and live in Lubbock, you can only pay on Tuesdays and Thursdays in cash.. (that's the only time they are open) a little late on your payment? Well they will make a deal with you, but take it with a grain of salt because they will NOT honor it.. I literally brought in a payment, and after paying we made an agreement to pay the rest that was due for the month in 4 days, and after promising to allow me to pay a little later, my car was repossessed the following morning (14 days late) This is the worst credit union I have ever used.. definitely take your business elsewhere read more

If I could give zero stars I would. BEWARE you can't pay loan online or over the phone!!! You have to write a check and mail it or bring it to them, both extremely inconvenient options. I live in Lubbock and the branch is only open 10-3 Tuesday and Thursday. Then when I tried to mail the payment, they claimed they never got it, called me a liar and threatened repo! I have excellent credit and payment history, and have NEVER had an issue like this with another bank, much less have been threatened, and spoken to in that way. If I knew how they did business I would have never let the finance guy at the dealership use them. read more

Definitely avoid this credit union if possible. From not receiving call backs to poor customer service from it's representatives, this credit union is subpar in every aspect. The closest thing to a highlight is a broken phone app that truly deserves 2/5 stars. Save yourself the headache, go with another bank. Worst Credit Union EVER!! Would give them 0 Stars if Possible. Banked with them for nearly 20 yrs. Past well over 8 million dollars through their hands in that time. When I approached them for a small loan for a home project, they claimed to have NO record of me or my accounts. I have been using this credit union for over 20 years. I have gotten several loans and have financed several cars through them. I just set up the payments to be withdrawn from my account when due and it's that easy. I am very happy with this credit union. No need to go anywhere else. Definitely 5 stars read more

Terrible bank. When you log onto ONLINE BANKING not MOBILE BANKING the website is really bizarre. Hard to navigate if you don't know what you're doing. The opening page tells you your dollar amount balance due by and the date. Only it's not the actual amount of the auto loan. I was rushing last month and just clicked on that icon and processed the payment. (I should have been more careful- stopping to read) it was EXACTLY $100 short. Instead of calling me or sending me an email explaining that I hadn't paid the full amount they charged me a late fee for every day I went over (until the next month when I went to make the payment again) when I called to work it out they refused to help me. They hit my credit with 30 days late. Awful customer service- if you have the option to bank elsewhere... do it. read more

They will charge you overdraft fees when you have money in your account. Customer service has only one answer to this and blames it on their flawed system. Supervisor will tell you to opted out of overdraft protection. This will be my second time "opting out". From what I hear, they are great with personal auto loans. That being said, we are trying the business aspect of it and it has been bad to say the least. We 1st filled out online application a month ago. Since then, we went in on March 23 & spoke to someone from which she took all of our paperwork & information both for the loan & the opening of account which you require. We then tried to get a trailer from business in Odessa from which it was rejected because it was a out of state title. They sell thousands of trailers & he said that was a first he heard of someone not accepting a Kansas title. Ok, fine. We found another trailer with a Texas title but was rejected because it was manufactured in Mexico and the VIN isn't pulling up from what I was told. That guy has a lien on his trailer from a bank institution as we speak so how did he get his financed but we can't? Ok, fine. I now find a trailer that is owned by a guy in Odessa with a title in hand from Texas. Now I am being told that this trailer also won't pull up for VIN check. On top of all this, we had received a message from someone telling us that if we don't get the right paper from the Secretary of State, our account will be closed from which our loan will also be denied. She already has the paper needed, although it is in a different format then she is accustomed to. We have spoken to our lawyer & even called back to the Secretary of States office from which the lady said that you all should know better. That it has the seal on there as well as you all have access to look it up IF needing even more proof other than the official sealed document. We have used the exact paperwork to transfer title, etc..The trailers we are trying to get are scarce right now so we have to jump on them immediately only to be rejected constantly. If you all cannot or will not help us then that is fine but it has already been a month so just say it so we can find a bank that will. This has been a nightmare. read more
