The First and Last is located in the centre of Millisle High Street and backs on to the beach. If you are passing through it's the ideal place to have a pit stop. It is a typical village pub, they have all the mod cons including Beer Garden (plastic patio chairs on the street covered by a single canopy) an automatic door (permanently open) and a full list of cocktails (Bacardi and coke or vodka and coke).
This is not only a bar it also serves food which is fresh local produce. It has plenty of draught beer and serves the best pint of Harp in Millisle, that said there is only two other pubs in the village and neither sell Harp.
In all honesty The First and Last serves its purpose as the watering hole of the villagers and the seasonal caravan owners. It has a friendly and open atmosphere, the drink is priced at the standard rate. It is often lively at the weekend and you can expect plenty of craic from the locals. read more
