A popular local boutique mortgage company offered us a "conventional " 30 year mortgage with 25% down payment and what sounded like a slightly higher interest rate than the going rate. It turned out that our monthly payment would be the same as the standard mortgage rate but we would have paid over 125K more upfront. Jon gave us a real conventional mortgage and saved us more than the 125k in the upfront payment with same monthly payment. We also had an extremely short deadline to close,which Jon made easily Jon is extremely patient ,professional, responsive and effective.
