Lines about 10 people deep at both the outside window and the inside counter. The lines moved relatively quickly, but if your time is limited- I'd certainly avoid lunchtime. We ordered one of the daily specials- 2 hotdogs, fries, & a soda for $7 and some change. We also ordered the funnel cake sundae and a German chocolate avalanche. The food was all tasty- the fries with nacho cheese dip were a favorite for me (I do love fries!). The funnel cake- with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, and whipped cream was so yummy! It was the best combo of state fair food! The avalanche is a huge cup of ice cream (think DQ blizzard). Three of us ate all this food- and we left full and satisfied. I would say this- too many visits there might be a heart attack waiting to happen, but you'll go full and happy! So worth a visit- even if it's a bit of a detour.

When I say this place is unique you just have to visit. It's packed to the walls with inventory. I think they have more fishing gear than two Cabellas or Bass Pro shops combined. For sure the most selection of diverse fishing lures and equipment I have ever seen. My daughter suggested it when I said I wanted ice cream. It took me awhile just to decide to get our ice cream because I was busy looking at everything they to offer. There is so much inventory that you can't get down some isles without moving things out of the way. Now the Ice cream. They have probably fifty flavors. Okay maybe not quite that many but if you can't find what you want you don't want ice cream. Just go home. Lol. I wanted the grasshopper mint with chocolate but it must be so popular because they was out. So I settled for a double scoop of raspberry chocolate chunk and my daughter got a single scoop of play dough. Ice cream that is. Lol. And we got the pups a cup of vanilla. I mean what furry friend doesn't like a pup cup. It was really really good. I forgot to get a pic of my cone as my hands were kinda full. Did I mention you can order food to eat? Yep. They offer a menu of food. Great place and friendly staff. A must visit.

I had just made some cherry ice cream at home a week or so prior and it wasn't nearly as excellent, and I'm trying to figure out what sorcery they invoke as they churn this creamy ambrosia. I suspect xanthum gum and a dollop of flavoring, as this ice cream's raspberrosity exploded on the tongue in a firework of comestible delight. Whatever wizardry used by the ice cream company that they sell here, come here and try it - you won't be disappointed.
