I came in dizzy and told them and security immediately got me a wheelchair and they rushed me right In (I was severely dehydrated). I was put into a room with no wait at all. The designs, decor and ambiance of this place and the room are so relaxing and I was shocked because as someone who hates hospitals or urgent cares I felt safe and relaxed here. The nurses and doctors were great! They all listened to me, heard me, helped me, were understanding when they knew I was there far away from home and felt alone while being sick and needed help. They did indeed take my state insurance which was perfect. They did give me a beautiful room- that has a light setting, a huge tv and will play calming music- it makes for a very nice stay. You don't feel like you're trapped in an ER with loud noises and screaming patients. You didn't get that here- you simply got quiet and the care you needed. This place is extremely clean! And I would 1000% recommend!

We researched emergency rooms and AdventHeath at Flamingo Crossing had very high ratings. She was upset, in pain, and crying, so we rushed her to the ER. It wasn't the closest, but it was the most positively reviewed - and I wanted the best for my mom since she was so scared and hurting. As soon as we pulled up in the rental car, an employee came dashing out with a wheelchair, ready to help. They took her back while my hubby and I filled out paperwork and the security forms. This is a very safe and secure facility: they photograph everyone who comes in and they also check I.D. This made me feel very safe, especially since it was around 11 pm at night. I went back to check on my mom and I was blown away with how nice the exam room was! They even had mood lighting and music, and it was Disney themed. Periodically, Ariel and Flounder would "swim" by on the wall. This calmed her a lot, and I could see it really helping children who found themselves in an ER. It did take a while for mom to get seen, but the quality of doctors was excellent. Most of them were quite young, but they didn't seem inexperienced. After a couple of hours, then took her out for x-rays. The X-ray room was great, too! It had magical "twinkling" stars on the ceiling, and a teddy bear to just bring joy. Again, this would be excellent for kids. As I was talking to one of the nurses, he told me that everyone on staff must attend and graduate a Disney class in customer service. It was almost like the staff was picked from cast members, they were SO GOOD. Overall, we were in the ER for around 4.5 hours, leaving around 3 am. It did take a while, but I feel like my mom got excellent care. They gave her a sling and pain meds, which they called in and we had filled at the Publix pharmacy right by our hotel. The staff made it as easy as they could in what was a very unfortunate situation. Nobody wants to get hurt on vacation, but this ER really, really helped make a bad situation much better. Highly recommended.

I was asked to check in on a podium and was fine with it. However, the podium did not seem to accept all information, so the front desk helped me right away. Omar gave me all options of what I can do to be seen and taken care of. Yes, any urgent care out of pocket will be expensive, but the service provided matched the convenience. I decided to call my local HmO and they were able to transfer the prescription to the Walgreens closest to this advent health location. I got vanned over (again) from a nice gentleman named Billy who literally parked and waited there for me to complete my transaction until he received his next call in case I was done sooner. To my luck, I was and was vanned over again to magic kingdom within the same hour as arriving. Omar and Billy both made what could have been an awful experience a great one. This all happened on a regular Wednesday and the Team probably sees hundreds of injuries a week, yet makes each customer/patient feel seen and heard. I especially appreciate being told all options before feeling like I just got jipped by advent. The drivers, employees, and front desk made me feel important and was very understanding. Bravo to Omar and Billy and the rest of the Team in this location. This is not a Disney specific location, but it definitely provided Disney quality service!

Called my insurance they mailed me a list of urgent care locations in my area. Advent Health was on list. I discovered they have a partnership with Disney Resorts. They pick u up. They open at 7 so went to concierge and they called Advent there were there in 20 minutes. I think I was first patient there I was seen with 15 minutes after they got my insurance info. Hillary PA was very nice and confirmed I had ear infection. Prescribed meds. Back stiff from inflammation she gave me shot for that. Asked for Covid test. After getting results for covid tested negative, given transportation to Walgreens around the block. They open at 9: Had meds 9:20 am. Called Advent for ride back to Grand Floridian within 5 minutes. This entire process took 2.5 hours amazing. Little tip. Go to Advent Urgent Care first thing in morning. If u go later there could be a long wait.

My son was experiencing severe abdominal pain and nausea, so they ordered strep, COVID, and flu tests. However, the strep swab was taken only from the side of his mouth near his teeth, and the nasal swab barely touched the outer edge of his nostril, which raised concerns about the accuracy of the testing. Approximately 15 minutes later, the doctor informed me that my son had tested positive for strep and immediately recommended an antibiotic injection, along with medication dispensed directly from their clinic. Given the circumstances, I was uncomfortable with this approach and requested an oral antibiotic instead. They also did not accept insurance, and the total cost was nearly $500. Overall, I am questioning whether the tests were conducted properly and whether the medication provided is appropriate.

The campus is incredibly spacious -- almost too spacious sometimes because it's so easy to get lost! The architecture and overall layout are beautiful, and you can really tell a lot of thought went into creating a welcoming environment. They're currently expanding and building another tower, which is honestly mind-blowing to see. Being so close to Disney, you can feel that "magical" atmosphere they're trying to create for patients, families, and staff alike. The staff are great, and the gift shop is always a nice stop. There's a café and a cafeteria -- the food is pretty typical hospital food, so I wouldn't expect a five-star chef experience. It can be a bit pricey, and while it's decent, it could definitely be a little better -- but that's pretty common for most hospitals. I truly enjoyed my time working there, even though it was brief, and I still enjoy visiting. One thing that always gets me is how easy it is to get lost, especially around the different "neighborhoods" -- I swear I'm always wandering around Neighborhood C trying to figure out where I'm going. On the plus side, the gym is phenomenal -- huge, well-equipped, and such a great resource for both patients and staff. Overall, it's a beautiful facility with great energy, amazing growth, and a unique atmosphere that makes every visit memorable.

Our experience at AdventHealth Celebration was extremely disappointing and honestly frightening…read more From the moment we arrived, the level of care and professionalism was concerning. The EKG technician appeared unsure of what he was doing, which is especially alarming when a patient is there for heart-related issues. The triage nurse at check-in was rude, inappropriate, and spoke in a very unprofessional manner. It immediately made us feel uncomfortable and not taken seriously. Throughout our time waiting, staff members were openly gossiping and appeared disorganized. There was even an issue with a transporter that staff discussed loudly in front of patients, turning it into a public scene rather than handling it professionally. It did not feel like a controlled or well-managed medical environment. My husband was there for heart problems and a high fever. We waited over two hours just to get a room. During that time, he was not given Tylenol or anything for his severe headache, nor was he placed on a heart monitor despite having a history of heart issues. That was deeply concerning. Once we were finally taken back, the nurse who assisted us was helpful and compassionate. She informed us about a fast-acting medication option for fever. However, when I asked the doctor about it, his response was shockingly unprofessional. He stated that he would "prescribe what he wants and that's just how it's going to go." The dismissive and rude tone was unacceptable. Overall, we felt that patient care was not the priority. The lack of urgency, professionalism, and empathy was overwhelming. We will not be returning and would not recommend this facility based on our experience.

When we arrived, there were no other patients in the clinic. The staff at the front desk was chatting and definitely not in any rush. The person checking us in even stepped away to ask someone if we could be seen, then came back and continued checking us in with zero urgency -- despite the fact that this was an infant head injury. They seemed far more concerned with taking payment first than anything else. After taking payment, we continued waiting. Not a single person looked at my baby. Not even a quick assessment. Eventually another staff member told us we needed to go to the emergency room because they "can't do imaging here," and they said they would process a refund. That was it -- no exam, no evaluation, nothing. At the ER, they explained that they use a well-validated rule called PECARN to determine if imaging is necessary. In our case, imaging wasn't needed -- but at least they evaluated my child and followed proper medical protocol. Why didn't urgent care do the same? Why didn't anyone even take a look at my baby? Instead, they were busy chatting or processing payment. This level of care (or complete lack of care) is dangerous, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable -- especially when dealing with an infant who experienced a fall. I will never return, and I hope management addresses this immediately.
