So I had to pay extra to have it towed there. It's my only vehicle, it sat in there lot for a week, I called and ask if they had a chance to look at it there response was we've been busy probably won't be able to look at for two to three weeks, now had they informed me of this when I called I would have never brought it to them!! I then had to have it towed from there to another place I asked the if they could help me out with the tow and they said no! So again I had to pay for another tow to a place that had it looked at and fixed in three days, and they were 3 miles from where I broke down. I only took it to Woodruff Chevrolet because I have a GM product, but it will be my last. AAMCO was awesome on east main street Spartanburg

Rick here was super professional and friendly, I had called around to a few places trying to get…read moreour car taken care of, this place was honest, actually knew when they could look at the car and gave me an idea of when it might be done depending on the actual problem. They even checked to see if our car was under warranty which it was, and got it taken care of earlier than stated. Just a great experience. (especially when we had called a place called kens in woodruff, that man so so rude even though my mother in law had given him business for years, it's ok it you are busy, it's not ok to be rude.) We really liked this Chevrolet place and the friendliness and professionalism here. Seemed clean and well run too.

I would give this shop zero stars if I could. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had…read morewith a mechanic. I brought my car in because it was overheating and was quoted nearly $1,400 to replace a PCM wire, replace the thermostat, and perform a coolant flush. When I asked basic questions about why these repairs were necessary, I was met with arrogance and attitude instead of answers. No one could clearly explain what was supposedly wrong with my vehicle. My dad called on my behalf to ask additional questions, and they treated him just as poorly. Rude, dismissive, and unwilling to explain their diagnosis or pricing. At that point, it felt less like they were trying to help and more like they were hoping I would blindly agree to an expensive repair bill. When I called back and told them I wanted to take my car elsewhere for a second opinion, they were extremely rude I was even considering a second opinion, told me to come get my car now, and hung up on me. That's all I needed to know. Picking up my car was no better. There was around a $100 diagnostic/service fee, I understand paying for someone's time and had no issue to pay it. The issue is while I was paying it I was never truly acknowledged, I felt very uncomfortable and could tell they were upset I was picking my car up. I then took my car to a dealership for a second opinion. They were shocked by both the diagnosis and the quote I had been given. The actual problem? A single pipe with a hole in it that needed to be replaced for around $600. No thermostat or PCM replacement. No unnecessary work. The dealership was so surprised by what I had been told. I genuinely believe this shop tried to take advantage of me and pressure me into paying for repairs my car did not need. If you aren't knowledgeable about cars, be extremely careful. Ask questions, get a second opinion, and don't let anyone bully you into approving expensive repairs. I will never return and would never recommend this place to anyone.

So now paying finance charges I shouldn't have had to. Then after not receiving my tag for 3 weeks I contacted the dealership and they stated it was still there on the desk and was going to be overnighted and taken care of immediately before my temporary tag expired. Once my temporary tag was expired I tried to email and call the dealership several times always being told the people I needed to speak with were not able to speak with me, including the general manager and they would not respond to my messages or emails. I then had to contact the corporate office to complain. They called the dealership which lied about when they sent in my tag information. Once the complaint was filed then the dealership wanted to get my tag paperwork handled but now that it was a week past the due date the tag office requires a late fee from them which they can't seem to obtain. Now I'm paying for a vehicle with an expired temporary tag sitting in my driveway......again find another dealership
